Brookdale

The staff appears to be more engaged in their work and the relationships they have with the residents. Certainly more than I witnessed in other facilities

They are extremely helpful and very pleasant and yes we would absolutely recommend Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg to other families based on the experience so far.

So far Brookdale is amazing. My parents have been there about a month. The intake process is very thorough and the people are so friendly. [names removed] went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My mom is in assisted living and lives it. My dad is in memory care and is adjusting slowly. The mc staff is very helpful and [name removed] is absolutely amazing. With time I hope he likes it too.

The facility is on the small side, feels very homey, staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. They are very encouraging to the residents to be involved in the different activities.

The facility is very nice with excellent community space indoors and out. Spacious living room and activity room for all types of activities, exercise, family visits and relaxation. Excellent dining facilities with great meals. The secure outdoor space includes covered and open space, gardens and fountain with plenty of seating for multiple groups and family. The staff is a very organized, friendly and caring team that work together to insure that each resident gets the care they need as well as provide a sense of independence and community for each resident.

I never thought about leaving my home, it was where we had raised the kids and grandkids there. So much love was made in it. Then, [date removed], my husband passed away and suddenly everything changed. I had to leave the house due to black mold and other issues. And I started looking for a new place. I had a list of places to go check out, the first I checked was Brookdale Senior Living. I got to talking to the staff and everyone was so friendly. I checked out two other places. But I kept thinking about Brookdale. I went back and signed the papers for it, paid my fees, and they showed me to my new home. It's beautiful, bigger than I thought. Everyone is so nice, I'm making new friends. They allowed me to keep my two Shelties, which makes me happy. The food is good, and I have a kitchen when I decide to cook for myself. I've been turning it into my place, with new color and style. I've had help with some things from Brookdale at Home. I could go on and on, but I love living here..

I would recommend Brookdale Garden Grove. It is a perfect place for assisted living. The rooms are clean and the perfect size. The amenities and calendar of activities were great. I loved the menu of the cafe, you can even choose from a fixed menu if you aren’t a fan of the daily menu. My understanding is that they even have a menu committee. Seems like a home and very comfortable.

I recently visited Brookdale Tempe. I found the community to be bright and welcoming. The staff were friendly and I saw many residents walking around and visiting with each other. It felt good there. My Mom has ALzheimer's. When she is ready for care I will choose Brookdale Tempe.

The food was pretty bad for awhile, but is improving. The staff is kind and courteous and caring.

I visited Brookdale at North Napkes a few times before making the decision to move my Mother there. The staff and the aids are very friendly and made me feel very welcome during this difficult time. [name removed] was very caring about not only my Mothers needs but mine as well. It is a caring and cheerful place to be. There are a lot of activities and things for all to do

This is an older property but the grounds are beautiful. The apartments are spacious and recently renovated. The common areas are a bit dated but we have been told they will be doing some updates in the near future. The activities director in my mom’s building is amazing and caring. The building director goes above and beyond. The residents are very friendly and my mom has already made some wonderful friends. We are so happy she is enjoying her new home.

From his first day there. [name removed] and the staff welcomed him. They had visitors come in whom he had worked with at Kellogg. He has quickly developed friendships and so have we. He has gotten much better physically and mentally with daily contact and socialization.

My husband and I just moved to Florida when my mom's health took a turn for the worse. We needed to find an assisted living for mom and so grateful we found Brookdale - clean and up to date but mostly the staff. They are excellent in what they do.

Everything's been great except the food is not good and a lot of people feel that way they definitely need to step up the kitchen and it is a very expensive property, but everything is good. Activities doesn't apply to my mother. She's bedridden. Administrative executive staff is very nice.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Residents are happy. My mom’s apartment is lovely. Although my mom doesn’t partake in the group activities, the calendar is great and they have a nice variety of events for the residents. My mom has been there for 2 months now and likes it. We have no complaints so far.

In general the place is very nice. Mom's apartment is clean and spacious. The common areas could use a bit of sprucing up, but are clean. Here is what sold me on the place. Why I chose them over a few other places that were "nicer". I went there unannounced several times. The sales person, [name removed], was so kind, as was every single employee I encountered. [name removed]called everyone by name, from staff to residents. EVERYONE! This was the same each time I went. All the residents were happy to talk to me and answer my questions, and the sales person [name removed]introduced each one by name. It could not have been staged. The place is very warm and welcoming. This is what was important to me for my mom. I am there two or three times a week and am still greeted by name now by desk staff and restaurant staff. It is amazing.

I would rate all categories a 5. They do change staff frequently. What stood out the most - Good: events, food, cleanliness. Bad: changing staff for familiarity and loss of clothes ( always needing underwear).

Great for everything, except administrative staff - I have two late bills from a problem with the website and can't get them taking care of. Things I like about the community - the staff is nice, and my mom says the food is good and they take good care of her.

Both me and my sister were very impressed with the facility when we first toured prior to deciding on a facility . [name removed]understood our needs and what would be important to my parents. She was able to get us the apartment that met all our parents needs and wants. Since moving them in we have been impressed with everything.

My grandfather was there and the staff was very friendly and the care he received was excellent. They always kept us informed and they always invited us to events and the events and specials that they have are really great and my grandfather really loved all the events and activities. It is a wonderful place to live.
