Brookdale

Overall I'm very satisfied with this facility. My dad has full-time care and is very happy with that . The only thing I can say negatively is that they use plastic silverware in the dining room and I know the residents are not fans of this.

The staff and caregivers are friendly and caring. Even the admin folks help with care when needed. The activities director was wonderful. I was very pleased with the care my mom recieved while she was there. Five Stars!

I was really uneasy about giving up my privacy for safety, but they had a two bedroom villa with garage that preserved my privacy with added safety. I can still go to the main building for meals and to take part in activities and retreat to my villa when I’m not in the mood for company. It’s the best of both worlds.

My father only was there 10 days before he went into hospital and passed so he never got to fully enjoy Brookdale. However I cant say enough about the staff. They were wonderful!! Kind. Compassionate and Caring,!

We needed help with activities of daily living. Our loved one needed a staff trained to help with someone in need of memory care. Brookdale is a great fit! The staff is genuinely caring, and there are numerous activities for interaction. They go above and beyond to help individual residents and address specific needs.

My aunt is better cognitively and is happy. She interacts with other residents and is better physically than she was when she first moved in. Highly recommended!

I brought a friend who was interested moving to Brookdale Grand Court. They lady who explained everything was very friendly and informative. Resident were very friendly and informative. Residents were playing games, visiting, and were all welcoming. The room was a good location from the dining room, because she has difficulty walking. Price was reasonable and there was a special going on. My friend is planning to sign a contract.

Very friendly and helpful staff, small facility so it has a real community feel to it. Good amount of activities. Facility is clean and well maintained. Only complaint I here is about the food.

What stood out the most is The staff - they were friendly and caring and they kept us informed of everything going on with our family member. Facility was clean and inviting.

Care giving is good. Nurse is good. They take care of their guests. I would recommend.

Nice staff, apartments nice and spacious. Good activities. Would recommend, very affordable.

We stayed in a respite in 2024. We sold our home in [date removed] in Mesa Arizona and decided to move to Illinois to be closer to our children. Brookdale was offering good discounts at the time. We arrived here on [date removed] and have been treated very well. Our apartment number [removed] has a nice view of both the ponds and lots of green grass, trees & flowers. We have new stainless steel appliances. Everyone is friendly and we are close to our family here. The laundry is clean and easy to use. The food is good and well prepared. We enjoy the many activities such as bingo, cards, & movies. The apartment is comfortable and attractive. We will likely spend the rest of our lives here.

The staff is so friendly and attentive to my dad. The residents are also friendly and kind. When I walk in to visit my dad, I am always greeted by a staff member. If there is anything my dad needs, they are quick to respond. My dad is also very happy there.

The staff appears to be more engaged in their work and the relationships they have with the residents. Certainly more than I witnessed in other facilities

They are extremely helpful and very pleasant and yes we would absolutely recommend Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg to other families based on the experience so far.

So far Brookdale is amazing. My parents have been there about a month. The intake process is very thorough and the people are so friendly. [names removed] went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My mom is in assisted living and lives it. My dad is in memory care and is adjusting slowly. The mc staff is very helpful and [name removed] is absolutely amazing. With time I hope he likes it too.

The facility is on the small side, feels very homey, staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. They are very encouraging to the residents to be involved in the different activities.

The facility is very nice with excellent community space indoors and out. Spacious living room and activity room for all types of activities, exercise, family visits and relaxation. Excellent dining facilities with great meals. The secure outdoor space includes covered and open space, gardens and fountain with plenty of seating for multiple groups and family. The staff is a very organized, friendly and caring team that work together to insure that each resident gets the care they need as well as provide a sense of independence and community for each resident.

I never thought about leaving my home, it was where we had raised the kids and grandkids there. So much love was made in it. Then, [date removed], my husband passed away and suddenly everything changed. I had to leave the house due to black mold and other issues. And I started looking for a new place. I had a list of places to go check out, the first I checked was Brookdale Senior Living. I got to talking to the staff and everyone was so friendly. I checked out two other places. But I kept thinking about Brookdale. I went back and signed the papers for it, paid my fees, and they showed me to my new home. It's beautiful, bigger than I thought. Everyone is so nice, I'm making new friends. They allowed me to keep my two Shelties, which makes me happy. The food is good, and I have a kitchen when I decide to cook for myself. I've been turning it into my place, with new color and style. I've had help with some things from Brookdale at Home. I could go on and on, but I love living here..

I would recommend Brookdale Garden Grove. It is a perfect place for assisted living. The rooms are clean and the perfect size. The amenities and calendar of activities were great. I loved the menu of the cafe, you can even choose from a fixed menu if you aren’t a fan of the daily menu. My understanding is that they even have a menu committee. Seems like a home and very comfortable.
