Great place with so much for residents to do, the apartment is clean and they do a great job responding to issues and concerns. The food is good and my dad enjoys a number is dishes. They do amazing with celebration for Father's Day and Mother's Day. The prices it's an amazing value these days. It's an older establishment but it's well kept. We are so happy we found this place. Their staff is kind and helpful. Unlike some of the other places they are well staffed. Thank you for helping us find it.

[name removed] really grew to love it there at Brookdale Lake Charles. The staff are very welcoming to clients and family. Hired new staff in kitchen , food have really stepped up. Get together for family and clients with meal and social . Assist family who live away to stay connected to the family member.

[name removed] and [name removed] in assisted living are some of the most caring and decent people I have ever met! All the staff touch exceptional care of my mom.

Your staff are outstanding in all areas, including promptness, friendliness, efficiency and kindness. The dinning room when they are staffed are excellent. The place is so welcoming and warm and everyone we have met are so friendly and have very wonderful things to say about this community! I love the activities they present to the people who live there. It's truly like family. We are very happy at the choice we made to come to Brookdale!

I am very impressed with the care, lifestyle activities and every thing at Brookdale, Paddock Hills. The staff is friendly and helpful the family night was great we ate dinner with our family resident and there was music. The food is always good, with many choices for residents. There are many activities for the residents to do. The facility is clean and well cared for, there is always someone at the front desk, even on weekends to greet you. I am so blessed to have found this place for my family member

What stood out the most is the great activity for adults, very very kind staff, clinically helpful and emotionally tuned in.

What stood out to me is the person who answers the phones is outstanding. I haven't eaten the food and my Dad is not interested in activities. I can say the calendar is full and looks like a nice variety of activities. I would recommend this community to others!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They understood our situation and weren't too pushy until we were ready to move forward. My dad has been there a month and is very happy with the overall experience.

We have been very pleased with Brookdale Collin Oaks since my mom moved in three months ago. All of the staff seem to really care about the residents. Even when they don’t think anyone is watching I see them going out of their way to be kind and respectful to the residents. I feel very comfortable with the staff at Brookdale Collin Oaks caring for my mother. The facility is clean and spacious and mom says the food is good. She is happy to call Brookdale Collin Oaks her home.

I would rate a 5. My Dad who all other family members were certain would be unsuccessful is thriving and happy there. He is of sound mind and not easy to please. Brookdale, University Park went above and beyond for my Dad personally going to his doctor to achieve his plan of care so that he could move in on time. He has nothing but glowing reviews for the staff, the food, and the communication about in-house services. All around 5 stars!

I was invited to tour Brighton MI Brookdale through the Howell Senior Center. They even arranged transportation for me and I had a great tour of the building - I was able to see the model one bedroom and was highly impressed. It was a lot larger than I expected. The facility is very lively, bright and the staff are extremely friendly and professional. [name removed] in admissions has been there over 12 years. I look forward to coming back to future events I had a blast!

They are extremely kind and support their tenants/members to be as independent as they can be. The nursing and business staff were all TOP NOTCH!

Choosing an assisted living establishment for a loved one is a monumental decision, and for us, the most important factor was finding a place that fosters a caring and loving culture. We are happy to say that Brookdale excels in this regard. In fact, my mom's friend was so impressed by our experience and the quality of care here that she also chose to move to Brookdale, for the same reasons! What sets this community apart is the dedication of their staff. Many team members have been with Brookdale for a long time, which speaks volumes about the environment they've created. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares for the residents, and that makes all the difference. Another crucial consideration for families is cost. We had unfortunately experienced situations with other facilities where existing residents were seemingly prioritized less favorably compared to new clients, with explanations of "across the board" cost increases that didn't align with observed practices. We've found Brookdale to be much more transparent and consistent in their approach to costs, which provides significant peace of mind. Brookdale was willing to negotiate an affordable rent, which was a huge relief. While they do offer additional services that can be expensive, we appreciate the flexibility to choose only what we need. Their focus truly seems to be on providing excellent care, rather than simply maximizing profit. Beyond care and cost, opportunities for activities, outings, and engagement are incredibly important for our moms well-being. Brookdale provides a good variety of activities that keep residents engaged and offer opportunities for social interaction and outings. Finally, the sense of community at Brookdale is just right. It's not too small or too large, which is a perfect balance for residents to genuinely connect and make friendships. We wholeheartedly recommend Brookdale to any family seeking a compassionate, affordable, and engaging assisted living community.

My wife and I have been very pleased with Brookdale. My sister seems happy with Brookdale and the staff there. I think my brother-in-law is still adjusting because he doesn't have the same control he wants. In all, things are going good.
