Our experience with Wentworth at Draper has been a good one, overall! The people here are friendly, and the facility is always clean and well kept. We're entirely satisfied with the service!

Overall we have had a very positive experience with The Wentworth of Las Vegas . Mom has not complained about anything and I know she would if there were any issues, so things seem to be going very well.

Everything at the Wentworth of Las Vegas is great. Just a little difficult to communicate due to language barrier. In terms of Cleanliness, I think the general areas were kept clean and spotless, but some of the rooms may need a little more attention. General public would not see that, but the patients who live there would.

The community is pretty clean, but the personal space could use a little more attention, I would like to see more attention paid to the bathroom and the floor needs to be swept and mopped more often. The staff is very friendly. They were pretty comparable to other places in price. They have plenty of activities. My loved one says he doesn't like the food, and the portions are a little on the small side. We chose them based on our interaction with Sheila.

Location a little too far for mom to drive. A little worn, but beautiful & clean home, nice entry way with inviting fireplace and comfortable furniture. Residents we spoke with are happy. Too many charges according to level of care; would be priced out.

We have been very pleased. When we went in, everyone was so nice. We checked out another place that was nearly twice as much so the value, for what my mother could afford, was very nice. We felt very comfortable placing her there.

I really enjoy the staff and they are open to feedback. They are responsible priced compared to others in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The community is awfully big and seems to be a little impersonal. I think the staffing is a little thin for the size of the community but the staff that is there seems to be nice. My friend has said she feels a little-overwhelmed primarily due to the size of the community. It's very clean and well maintained. They offer transportation to doctor offices and they bring my friend to her hairdresser and pick her up which is good so she can keep some sort of her normal routine. She doesn't want to participate in any activities they offer which are out of her character and I would love to see the staff there get the residents that don't attend the activities to do so.

My sister is staying here for a short respite stay and things are going ok. I was not impressed with the respite room she was first given as it did not have a television a phone or a lot of furnishings. They did bring in a television after a few days. I do not feel they offer a lot of activities. The food seems to be a lot of carbohydrates and not a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. This community does accept medicaid.

The Wentworth of LAs Vegas is a nice place for my mother and we are happy with it. They are lacking in activities, though. They could use more consistent activities and things for the residents to do. The meals are fine, from that I have seen. The care that my mother is receiving there is good but could be more individualized.

When I toured this community I saw that it was still new. They offered me a meal and I saw them doing some activities. There was good interaction. It was too far for the location.

Other than the first night, we had an overall good experience. The night of our arrival, the staff was not expecting us, they were a bit rude. The bruised her arm and scared my mother. I did bring this up to the management and they did try to take care of the problem. The rude staff are still there, but the other staff are nice and the community is clean. There was some confusion on who was taking care of her, but it got worked out. The people were trying to work with me. Mom has passed since then and I was still expected to pay for the last two weeks afterward.

The food is sort of mediocre and blah, everything else has been great. She is very happy there. They are very good about communication, and letting me know if something is going on. We chose them because they have the license needed in our state to offer real assisted living.

We just got him in Wednesday or Thursday of last week. One of the main things we liked about the Wentworth was that they had an available room close to the front because he can't get up stairs too well. From what I saw, the building looked pretty good. I believe I dealt with Danielle, and she was very helpful.

Here's the challenge with the facility: 1. When my mom moved in in June 2023, we were advised that they were in the process of transferring the license of the van from another owner, but that the van service (which provides transportation to activities, doctors appointments, casinos, and shopping) would likely be operational within a month or so. The license was finally transferred around November or December, but there is no driver. As such, my mom has had to spend money out of pocket or rely on third parties to get her to the places that were promised as a part of the fee. I personally offered suggestions regarding alternatives that were not taken up. 2. There remains an issue with security. When my mom first moved to Escalente, you could freely enter at all times day and night. Now, if she leaves and returns after 8 or 9 p.m., the doors are locked and she waits at least 5 minutes for someone to come and unlock the door from the inside. There is no 24 hour security in the building. Further, I am not convinced that in the event of an emergency or fire, the residents could get out of the building without the assistance of a staff member who has to reach up to unlock the doors. 3. There are no regular, ongoing scheduled activities for the residents. Although they do have some activities, they are not conducted daily for the residents. 4. Many of the friends that my Mom made during her stay have elected to move elsewhere. To her, it feels like the place is empty and we are trying to keep her from falling into a state of depression. Since her condition has improved, it will no longer be necessary for her to live in an assisted living facility and so we are moving her

The place was beautiful but they were short staffed. I was there 6 weeks and my room was cleaned once. Some of the staff were very nice but others were grumpy and annoyed when you called them. The regular meals were so bad I took to ordering groceries, but some of the special order meals were good. It was very noisy particularly in my room which was near where the staff hang out to chat at 4am

We toured Escalante at The Lakes and the facility/tour was okay. The staff was pleasant. However, the facility itself didn't appear to be well maintained.

The level of professionalism from the administrative staff needs improvement. Poor follow up and the feeling our business is not valued. The food that they offer is pretty poor.

As of last week, they still have not taken out the rent t his month, they keep pulling from my loved ones checking account even though they are only supposed to pull out of savings. We have asked a couple of questions about care and documentation of certain items and things that are going on, and that has not been done and it has now been about 2 months. Overall there are just some improvements they could make to better the whole experience.
