The lodge was not as homie here . We liked the staff that did answer our questions . We were happy with how clean the community is here . We liked the staff that answered questions about / on us . We just wanted a different community for there caring then what we found here . We would recommend families to see the community for all the great options available .

Staff are very excited to open this new facility. They definitely put in a lot of thought into making your loved one feel welcome.

Things are going great at this facility. The staff is very professional and friendly and the facility itself is nice. So far, I do not have any complaints about the Lodge at Quail Park. Overall, this has been a good experience

They have been very quick in their responsiveness. If I have an issue they are on it immediately and have been wonderful about that. They are so thorough in their care of my loved one that I am beyond impressed.

Unfortunately my father was only able to live at Avalon for two weeks, but he was quite happy there for the most part. He was on a medication that he had to take on an empty stomach and then wait for a period of time before eating, and he was still working with staff to get that med delivered at the time that was best for him. He was a foodie, and didn't love the food, but the facility, staff, and residents at Avalon are very warm and friendly. It felt like home when I first visited, and my father chose it over another facility that I visited with him. I visited 5 facilities, and Avalon was by far my favorite. The apartment was very large and comfortable and we all loved it.

The staff and residents are very friendly. I have been IMPRESSED with my mother living there and they have been going above and beyond to make her happy. Staff are caring, kind and patient and I feel like I am getting a great price for the service. I would recommend to anyone.

Well, everyone is very, very nice, but it takes them a long time once you push the button for them to come. They don't have enough helpers. The food is less than I would expect, they are having all kinds of problems with making me vegetarian foods. They are trying, but I don't know why they are having so much trouble.

My sister has lived in Avalon Assisted Care, Memory Care, for approximately five years. Every time I visit her and leave, I go out the door and am extremely grateful for the staff that works there and for the care that she receives. I leave her and I know that she is in extremely good hands! I am also appreciative of the many activities that are provided for her at Memory Care. I feel that Jhonathon is a very good supervisor and tries to keep families informed about events regarding their loved ones, as well as events that occur at Memory Care. I also feel that during the time that he has been the supervisor, the facility has undergone some very positive physical changes and presents a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

I like the atmosphere of the place. It is very inviting. The entry area is very homey looking. It's open and tastefully decorated. It doesn't look overbearing. When you walk in you feel very comfortable. They can improve on communication with the caregivers. When I ask for some things to be done and try to follow up, the information isn't always transmitted to all of the caregivers. The location works for us; my dad and my sibling and I don't live near each other. They have alot of outside activities but my mom doesn't really take part in them. They need more game type indoor activities, besides dominoes. I would like to have names and phone numbers of people who are caring for her, so that I can get information more immediately. Some caregivers come in. She gets care, but I have trouble getting information.

They are wonderful, in all areas. We were so impressed with how nice they were. The staff is so nice to all the people that are there. The administrator is wonderful. I think they are the greatest. They have a lot of activities that they offer.

Everything has been fabulous so far at Avalon, I'd give them top marks across the board! It's a nice looking, clean facility, and the staff have all been very friendly. The caregivers in the memory care unit in particular have been wonderful, they've been so kind and so welcoming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay here. We met many nice people and enjoyed activities and meals. Enjoyed surrounding grounds and woods, viewed from all our apt.'s windows. Wonderful helpful staff. Sarah Hendricksen was especially helpful, always cheerful.

If you are looking for a safe highly qualified loving and caring place to put your beloved family member, look no further. before she passed away. She had her stroke 11 years My mom lived at The Lodge at Preston Ridge for 6 years ago so we were very blessed to have had her soo long. We feel that is was because of the care nursing, aids, and the fact that she was so happy there is why we had her soo long. She was very happy there. I asked her if she wanted to back to her home after she had been there a month and she said no that house is too big. Music to our ears. She was a great cook and loved the food. She didn't want to leave her 2500 sq foot house and we took everything from there and miniaturized it. With the 4 rooms provided. Chandelier in the kitchen. Her bedroom set and couch, pictures and knick naks in the living room. She didn't feel like she left home and she wasn't alone so we didn't worry about her falling out of bed anymore running over to the house at all hours of the night to see if she was ok after she didn't answer the phone. For the first time in 6 years my sister and I slept peacefully and we came to visit he and she was happy. There are outside activities they just went to the casino a couple of weeks ago and to he movies. The holidays are very festive the lodge is decorated better than my house. They have all kinds of art and activities. Movie night etc.. The lodge goes out of their way to make their residents and families feel comfortable. They care and listen to what you have to say. Thoughts and ideas. So if this can be of help in anyway making your decision for your loved one let the lodge be your last stop. Not to mention they were voted Number 1 for several years and are the least expensive in town.

I’m very happy with it. It’s meeting all of our needs. Anyone would be happy there. It’s a very nice place. Just like I said in my ratings, it’s very clean and the staff is very friendly. The activities are fine. We’re very happy.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for our loved one. We really liked the look of this one, however it wasn't quite what we were looking for carewise. Our loved one wasn't to the point where she needed any assistance, and they didn't have any independent living options. The gal who gave us the tour was great, though, very helpful and friendly!

My loved one has been here a few months now, and so far things seem to be going great! The staff are all very friendly and very helpful, and the facility itself is nice looking and clean. They provide all sorts of services, med management, 3 trips a week for dialysis, etc. The food is generally pretty good as well, although it can be a bit hit or miss.

They are an incredible staff, the people that run it,and the people that live there, and the people that work there. This was a rehabilition stay so not very long. They are the only ones in the area that will take you for less than a month. They had sing alongs and things to do. They were able to prepare a special requests. I don't think they have quite enough help but they work very hard. Meals took a little while, almost 2 hours.

They really don't nickle and dime us. I would give them a six if I could for care services. The food is delicious, we have eaten there a couple of times. The nurse that we worked with was amazing, in the amount of help she provided to us before we even knew that we were going to be here. The other thing that pushed the decision for us, was that the residents were out and about, not in their rooms or small groups.

Very friendly, clean, excellent food and attentive to the needs of the people at tbe Lodge.

The Lodge is a great community that is very clean and the food here is absolutely fabulous. They have restaurant style dining, they offer a special of the day but you can still order off the menu. They have servers that come to your table and take your order to give it that experience. The nurse here has been working here since the community open like 10 years ago. The nurse, community manager and the rest of the staff are really fabulous and very helpful. When they do my mom's laundry she actually gets back everything she turns in. THEY ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING LIFE LOCK RATES SO I WOULD RECOMMEND TO LOOK INTO THE LODGE IMMEDIATELY. Trish from A Place for Mom was extremely responsive and helpful. She is a very nice woman that was just wonderful during the process.
