Seemed very nice to work with and called us any time there was a problem. Just very expensive.

I'm not overly impressed with the community. The have a failure to communicate with the family about our loved one's needs that could assist our loved one. They aren't meeting the medications request and requirements for the residents. They don't have adequate building maintenance for the residents either. There are no activities provided to the residents. The only thing we have seen is the residents watching TV in the commons area together. The food taste is blah, and not appealing to the residents.

Our Dad Checked into Summerplace last week. He had a stroke. We've had nothing but a great experience so far. Starting with [name removed] who went over and above the call of duty handling my father's special needs and making the transition as smooth as possible. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Dad has enjoyed the food and really likes the dining Hall. Any time Dad or I as a son have asked Andrew or any of the staff for anything they have gotten it for us. I'd like to thank the staff and Andrew for taking good care of my dad

We placed my father at Prestige Senior Living in Manteca for many reasons. We looked at many facilities in Folsom, the Bay Area and in Manteca and Prestige was by far the best choice for many reasons. The value was much better at Prestige and my fathers only other choice was a skilled care facility. With the base rate for a 1 bedroom apartment and his level of care his cost is still less than in home care was costing him. Estee Nowak was a dream to work with. All of the caregivers are wonderful and very friendly. The dining room is also very accommodating and my dad is eating better than he was at home. I would highly recommend Presige Senior Living to anyone who needs a safe place for their loved one.

The food is to accommodate the ones that don't have chewing problems. You must ask for soft food for the ones that don't have the teeth. No vegan options. No traditional Asian or other options This is a problem for new residents.

My sister's been in there for a year and it is an OK place, but it is extremely expensive for the level of care, but I find that for all the other places I looked at too. Even though it seems like all the nursing homes, especially in Nevada are very expensive. I do like the one-to-one care that my sister gets at Parkway and I know when I'm not there she is getting all the attention that she needs. The new crew that took over, especially the manager of the [community removed] is the best that I've ever seen. Her name is [name removed]. And for that reason, I won't switch my sister to any other facility.

My mom was there 5 months she moved to [community name removed] in East Wenatchee it's a smaller cleaner facility when she got sick at colonial vista I asked them if they could provide her meals to go as she was Covid positive they said no and she was given no outside help [community name removed] is smaller and cleaner the units are really nice when she fell nursing staff evaluated and then had her sent to the hospital she broke a vertebrae they brought her meals and checked on her I really appreciate the kindness and care she was given based on this I would probably not recommend colonial vista as they limit what they do to help residents

The staff is considerate, and are able to socialize with other residents, and the community is clean. We like the way that they run the prescription and medical side of the facility, but they don't deal with Medicare.

The facility staff are really caring and seem to like what they do. They know the residents and keep tabs on folks coming and going. There has been a recent change in ownership but so far we just see improvements and seems most of the staff is still the same.

When we were confirming everything and on through to the actual physical moving in, it seemed hectic and uncoordinated. My wife and i carried all the heavy furniture through the facility into the room and then i found out a few weeks later they have hand carts that people can use and they didn't offer anything. There was a lot of confusion during that period. Flooding in the food area or something. They flip flopped on whether they'd even let my mom move in. It was not a great experience.

I like the rooms they are large and clean. The neighborhood is excellent. I do not like that they do not pay much attention to the residents. They bathe possibly only once a week. They do not change their bedding more than once every two weeks. They do not help with changing clothes daily or their basic personal hygiene. The food menu is the same weekly.

Overall, my loved one is settling in and is liking it there. It was a difficult transition from rehab, there were so many mistakes on the orders, and a lot of things that were promised to us at the assisted-living did not happen, and we had to follow up on them ourselves. Before she moved in, there was great communication and they made it sound like they had everything organized and ready for her to move in. They oversold themselves and then when the move-in process actually happened, they really dropped the ball on everything! It has taken a few months for us to actually get things handled that we thought were going to be handled right after she moved in. It is very difficult to communicate with the nursing staff, I called for three days before I could actually talk to someone. They do have some staff that are really on top of things and friendly, but the nurse there often drops the ball and then we have to pick it up and figure things out. My loved one does like the food and has been very complementary of the dining room staff. Unfortunately, during holidays, they just do sack lunches which she doesn't care for.

The move in process was good. When it came time to pay them after the move in, it was a hassle. Their billing department was not on the same page as the facility and it took me about 2 weeks to get that straightened out. The staff is helpful and friendly, they stay in touch with me for the most part. Overall, I probably would recommend them to others.

We toured with Sullivan Park and the facility was very dirty...the carpets were all stained and it smelled. These were the main reasons we did not choose this facility for our loved one.

We toured Sandpiper Village during our search for an Independent Living community. This community never made it to our top 5. The facility is older, has fewer amenities, and looked like it is geared more towards Assisted Living than Independent Living. I will say, it was one of the lowest costing facilities that we toured. The apartments just would not have been what we were wanting. However, the residents that we talked to there certainly seemed to be happy with their choice. I just wanted more!

The Meals and dining ( in this area both food and staff are very poor) most staff are very friendly and helpful. My biggest frustration and it was BIG is that the moving in process was not explained and it took forever to get and "handbook" which really wasn't helpful. We were told we could hang things on the wall. We asked to have a TV mounted on the wall and waited weeks and when maintenance showed up to put it up we were told it was too big. I asked about aids for moving in as in hand truck or carts and was told they had none only to find out later they did. I still can find where it tells you or where it is posted as to what time the outer doors lock. The first time I tried to unlock the outside door the key would not work. This was on the weekend and we were trying to move in. It took 3 different trips to the office over several different days to get a key that worked. I felt like as soon as I signed the contract I was abandoned. Feel free to share this with Prestige. This was an every hard time for me. However, I think TP is generally happy there. She made friends fast and has started participating in activities. All in all I think it was a good move.

It's a good place but I wish there was more transparency about the decisions regarding the levels of health care determined by the nurse. My mom was graded much higher than anybody expected which resulted in a much higher monthly bill than anybody expected and we were already committed to the place when we found out what level they had set her at.

Was touring for a very close friend of mine whom was progressing quickly with Dementia. The facility was very clean and bright, but just had that type of hospital feel that didn't settle well with him. He was an outdoorsman his entire life and wanted something to make him feel more like he was in his home rather than a hospital or institution type. Staff and everyone were very friendly, just was not a great fit for our situation.

We went to see my sister in the memory care. The staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately they are understaffed. For the amount of money that is paid for her care They don’t have someone to help her eat. She has lost a lot of weight. We wanted to find out how much she weighed But the PA not even a Dr said he didn’t have that info. Which was surprising. I know they don’t have a medical staff, but you would think they could do some vitals. The office coordinator was pretty rude, we had driven from Southern Calif. and she would only allow 2 of us to visit with her. And she made it clear that we were not to use her bathroom. If we wanted to use the bathroom we would have to use the one in the hallway, but then she stated we were not able to leave the room while visiting. 2 out of three of us were R.N ‘s We went there to cause problems just to visit.

There could be much better communication between the staff and future residents. And after moving in, communication has been a challenge as well, particularly around care needs, which has been really frustrating. I really like some of the staff there, and certain staff members provide great care and are over the top awesome. But the administrative communication issues have been ongoing. I don't feel like my loved one is unsafe there, but perhaps if they weren't as sharp, I would be more concerned.
