They would say they were going to do something, and never get it done. They said they ordered new blinds for her room...she was there 5 months and they never got there. I had to ask many times to get things like the toilet fixed. They housekeeper was supposed to come once a week, but didn't...I was changing her bed sheets myself. Once it was almost a month without vacuuming. Although they say that the laundry is put into a bag with your room number on it, and only your clothes are washed by themselves, and returned...they lost several pair of her pants and they had to be tracked down. She also had other peoples laundry mixed in with hers that I returned to the front desk. There was a pair of pants that obviously wouldn't fit her. The next day, they were back in her room again! I would like to add that the administration staff are not very good. We have had several issues with them. The care staff are great, hard working people who loved my Mom. She had a great sized, nice room that was perfect for visitors.

It's good.. they've had a lot of staff turnover but again, that's to be expected as is a difficult job. We picked this community, because they accepted private pay until medicaid was approved. The tour experience was good.

There are plenty of fancy Assisted Living/ Memory Care facilities in Newport Beach, but if you are looking for something more home-like, intimate, small-scale, the NBMC is the place for you and your loved one. The staff could not possibly be more loving, caring and attentive.

My mother is a current resident at Autumn Wind Assisted Living Community. Overall, the experience has been good to very good. This facility is wonderful. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

We are very happy with Sullivan so far the care and the communication. Would definitely recommend Sullivan Park it feels like home. They have many activities - although no option of a movie night or group TV space. Just getting us on board with the paperwork and working out going into later on Medicaid was reassuring.

This month (April) marks six months that my aunt has been a resident at Linda Valley Assisted Living (LVAL). She has shared with me that she is enjoying the facility and loves the staff as well as the food. I have witnessed the staff at work and appreciate the care they extend to the residents and visitors. When areas of concern have been raised, responses have been forthcoming. Overall, our family and our resident loved one are happy with the care she is receiving at LVAL.

Our family had an in-person tour with Prestige Assisted Living and the director was great and personable. It was just not the right fit for our loved one. The surrounding area was sketchy and felt unsafe, but the facility was very quiet and peaceful.

The staff and the size of the place stood out to me about this facility. [name removed] was the person we dealt with in the start of this. She was amazing helping us with the transition and keeping us informed. Once there, all of the staff have been very informative and helpful. They provide laundry services and the lounge area has a place for snacks. I would definitely recommend Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care to others looking for a place for their loved ones with Dementia. It's hard enough choosing a place and [name removed] and staff were very compassionate and helpful. I never felt pressure from them to make the decision to go there, just guidance on getting help and care.

The community was very welcoming and friendly. There are some spots in the hallways that need carpet repair, which makes wheelchair life a little difficult. We picked this community, because there were only two openings when I was looking. This one was the closest to my home.

I toured the Assisted Living unit at this facility. It was very clean. Staff was very friendly and kind. The food could improve.

We have been very impressed with most of the staff members, and based on our experience so far we would recommend Prestige Assisted Living at Henderson to other families. On a regular basis they have a lot of activities going on and we appreciate the effort they put in -so good job staff. The reason we gave the meals an overall 3 star is because they seem to be stuck on beef and pork which we do not eat. They have other choices but they are limited so the variety could be improved. However, other than that, the meals are very good

The community has been great. Both in answering questions and in their care. It has been a great fit for my mother. There is probably always room for improvement but honestly we have been very happy.

For the most part the staff is kind and helpful. The activity director will work hard to get out of doing any outings on simple activities. The food is very poorly prepared and about 50% not edible my sister spends a lot of her money on food.

Terrible, lazy and stupid activity director. Kitchen manager poor cook and is always running out items we need to eat with our meals. I spend over $160 a month on food.

My evaluation of the actual care is very limited. My husband was only there 12 days before his death and the first four or five days I was not to visit there while he was becoming acclimatized. That actually did not happen when he entered Linda Valley he was under the care of hospice and they asked immediately during the first 24 hours if they could sedate him because he was so resistant and combative. So I have no idea what kind of care he got because already he was not eating well and was so resistant to everything. I liked working with [name removed] I felt like the set up was quite good from what I could tail. My only real complaint is that after his death on [date removed] it took 2 1/2 months to get a refund from the initial month's payment. Although part of that delay was a dispute that I had with them about the day that he actually entered their facility, I should not have to have gone after the refund after the first month he was dead.

The amazing staff go above and beyond for residents and family.

It has a homey feeling, vs. a resort-like feeling at some other places. The apartments are nice. And when I've had concerns, the staff have taken care of them.

This is a very nice place to live for you or your loved one. They have activities like a work out room, a library, t,v, room if you want to watch t.v. with other people, lots of walking paths with a lot of sidewalk walking. All of the staff have been very very friendly, they are easy to get a long with and answer all of your questions when you have them, they are always willing to help.
