I am a recent resident at Elmcroft. I came to stay a short time but I am still here for 4 months. I really am happy here. The staff are wonderful. The will help you with anything you need. They always are smiling and happy to help. The kitchen staff are great as well. The food is very tasty and plenty of it. The building is very clean. I first noticed that there is no odor. After moving I found out why. There is cleaning all day ,e ery day. Each residents took us cleaned weekly. Trash is taken out 3 times a day. The management staff is always available to talk anytime. When they you are home, they are correct. You will know you are home only better!

It's only been two weeks and it has been the most fantastic experience! I am confident that moving Dad to Atria was the right move. Since moving in, the community has had an extravagant mardi gras bash with food, bar, and other traditions that go with Mobile's celebration. The food is good, although my dad has complained a couple of times. He's been able to participate in some activities and encouraged to interact with other residents as well as potential residents which I thought was awesome. The staff is nice and caring and have really made this a very easy transition.

I have to put in a good word for their sales representative. She is very sweet to the residents and they are great. It is what sold me, so she does a very good job and they are all very good people. Everyone is prompt and good at taking care of any issues that come up and I am very comfortable with them.

I am very pleased with the service and support that my Mom receives at Atria. The staff is extremely friendly and appears to really enjoy caring for the residents. Most importantly, my Mom seems to be happy there. They really spoil her. It is quite expensive to live there....one of the most expensive in my search and prices went up less than one year after I moved her in. So be prepared. I also like that the caregivers incorporate music into the activities. I also love the garden out back which is intimate and beautiful. Unlike some places, I have never smelled any unpleasant odors. When there is an accident, it is promptly cleaned up. I did not giver 5 stars just because there is always room for improvement. For instance, the food is nutritious and meets the requirements but could be better and of a higher quality. Also, my Mom's clothes sometimes gets mixed up with the other residents and vice a versa. However, overall, I am very pleased.

Atria has a homelike atmosphere with people who have worked there for years and who really take the time to meet and know the residents. The managers, nurses, and all other staff are friendly and helpful. The activities and parties that go on are always top notch and exciting. This is the best place in Mobile and Baldwin county if and when the time comes for a loved one.

My mom has been here for over 3 years. The staff is caring, friendly and go overboard to help! There are lots of activities should an individual want them. Her apartment is kept clean and a nurse is always available. The food services department tries to meet everyone's Special diets while creating a variety of meals. We could not have chosen a better assisted living facility for her!!

The communication with the staff is excellent as well as the caring staff. The only drawback is the food. It's difficult for them to get a good cook/chef. They should maybe look at going private and contract out.

The experience with the leadership staff has been very good. Always responsive and trying to be helpful. I thinks they could have done a better job helping us to get to know the service staff and the procedures for communications. We are surprised that the overall atmosphere is pretty closed. Residents doors are largely closed all of the time and there are few efforts to encourage social interaction. For example, everyone has to eat at the same table for every meal. The food is good and they do try to be responsive to individual likes/dislikes.

Good experience w staff. Some confusion over med supplies because Dad is VA. Environment very nice. My dad's apartment was set up and decorated by staff to his request and approval. The staff keep Dad's room clean and laundry done timely. Dining is well managed in group environment. My Dad doesn't participate in group activities so can't comment on that. This is a memory care facility so no outside activities

The only reason the food is a 3 right now because kitchen got damaged? It was excellent before that! I have had lunch and breakfast there many times. It's helpful that the facility has a pharmacy that delivers right there and sends to my mom's insurance and that is a help. They also have a van that takes residents different places and to some doctors appointments. They also do quarterly assessments and call me if they need to.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across Kauhale Pettigru in Greenville, SC. The first time I pulled up to the building, I was pleased that the outside looked so pretty and was well maintained. It was just as nice on the inside, everything is clean, beautifully decorated and the staff are so friendly. After the completion of my tour, I felt confident that I would like for my mom to live here.

We have one in the memory care facility and it is very comforting knowing how kind and attentive the staff is to the patients. If there was anything to improve upon I would say at times they appear to be understaffed. But we are still happy with our choose at this time.

Kauhale is awesome. Their staff is great, very personable, they keep me up to date when I can't get down there. Coordination with healthcare staff is incredibly smooth. The nurses are phenomenal. My step father is in the best condition he has been in over a year. (He is a very difficult patient).

First visit we knew this was a place that mom would be comfortable. We knew that both assisted care and memory care would be needed. Kauhale has both onsite so it was the perfect place. The staff we met during our visit all very friendly.

The meals and dining's rating is from things I hear. I haven't eaten there. Didn't have an activities director then hired one who stayed for 6 weeks and now back to no activity director. Overall we like the place. Location is great for us and it's very pretty but it is big and not many people are there yet. I hope it fills up more. I think it would be better if there were a few more active residents- at least in our situation. And definitely need an activities director. Hopefully they find one soon. I'm told it's not an easy position to fill.

[name removed] is an angel! It is a very nice facility. Rooms are a good size and it is clean.

Memory care units are not beautiful like the assisted living apartments are in any facility. However, once you get over that, the caregiving at The Parker is first rate and the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and speech therapy are all outstanding. The food is up and down and I’ve noticed that my mom is happier when the food is good! I live close by so I can visit frequently. Proximity is essential!! We are happy with our experience at the Parker. I would recommend it if it is close by.

She only stayed at the Parker for a 7 day respite. Overall we were happy with it for the time she was there. At the time there was never anyone at the front desk and the main door was propped open with a rock, which was a little concerning but was never an issue for us. The meals were great, and the staff was very friendly! They worked with us in a time where we desperately needed a safe space for her to stay and were 100% on board with helping us.

Very safe and quiet.

I would recommend them. I think they are understaffed right now that is causing some issues but I also think they are doing their best.
