I WAS MOST IMPRESSED WITH THE CARE THEY HAD FOR MY MOTHERS NEEDS AS WELL AS MY WELL BEING. THEY WERE MOST HELPFULL AND HAVE A GREAT PROGRAM.LOOKS LIKE A PLACE MY MOM CAN LIVE AND BE HAPPY.

Food: Very good. Housekeeping excellent. Staff: Courteous, kind, professional.

Staff is helpful & willing by does so. Food is good & well cooked & flavored.

Elmcroft is wonderful. I really am pleased with the "family" there. Our uncle wanted to die. And now he's happy and getting stronger. Everyone there is smiling, the residents and the staff. We feel very blessed to have found this home.

We're very happy with how things have turned out at Elmcroft of Heritage Woods! It's a nice looking, clean facility, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! They obviously really have the best interests of the residents in mind. We originally moved my loved one into their memory care unit, and after a few weeks of observing her they said she would probably be better off in the assisted living wing, and they were right! I really appreciated that even though it meant less money for them, they wanted to make sure my loved one was in the place she'd be most comfortable!

We recently moved my mom to the memory care here. She absolutely loves it. Cheryl the activities director is great and you can tell she really loves the residents. We wish we had moved my mom here years ago! We were nervous when her first few days she has a not so nice roommate, but Elmcroft handled it with respect and a lot of professionalism. They treat their residents with a huge amount of respect leaving them with their pride and dignity. We are looking forward to many years here!

Walking in the door felt like a breath of fresh air. This is truly a facility where the personnel live to serve the needs of its residents. Gina, one of the directors was attentive and caring and had the most wonderful heart! Every person I came in contact with was wonderful. During the tour Gina stopped to speak to every resident she came into contact with. She talked with them like she was their family. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and super clean. The activity board was full of daily activities. I can't give this facility a high enough rating!! All I can say is that I feel extremely blessed to have found atria for my father and would recommend it highly for anyone looking for assisted living for their loved one. No longer do any of my family, or my father, feel like he "has" to go to assisted living- we all feel like he "gets" to go live at atria!!

We moved our Dad into the memory care in February and couldn't be more pleased with Elmcroft. The one on one attention he gets, the care and cost can't be compared with. Dad will have many great memories here.

We moved my parents here in July and couldn't be happier. The nursing staff are great and very attentive. My parents are frequent users of the pendant call and the staff are always speedy when responding and very friendly. Highly recommend when looking for a loved one!

The best decision I ever made. My mother loved her brief stay. My only choice if I have to go away for an extended time.

So far our experience has been great. The personnel at Homewood at Cleveland have been great helping us get Dad set up and comfortable. They have been very helpful with the paperwork and have been very good at following up on all of our issues. Great experience so far and Dad is happy!

Our representative assisting was Jenny and she was wonderful. Very thourough, she helped me find communities that I did not locate of which was one that I choose. Elmcroft of Byrd Springs has been fabulious for my mother. She is 77 and I could not get her to eat right and we had a constant struggle with taking meds correctly. She has now got situated, made a couple friends which she is not the social butterfly and is somewhat a hermit!! Just walking was a chore for her previously. It is amazing, we can have a pleasant visit and she is even exercising regularly. Her mantality/demeanor has changed dramatically. Thank you!!! I think I may have the opportunity to know the mother in which I know she can be versus someone that has lived previously in misery. She has found her happy place I think!!

My husband's first 24 hours at homewood could not have been any better. The staff there has embraced him with welcome arms! They do not hesitate to go over and beyond expectations. They deliver upon requests immediately and professionally. I am delighted that we had the good fortune of finding a place that really cares and rises above in all arenas. It is comforting to have found a facility that feels like HOME.

Set up as independent living, but it was all ala carte. I liked this community a lot. We went with a different community, which I’m really happy with, but if we hadn’t gone with that community, we this would have been the one. Everything was clean and cheerful and the staff seemed great.

It's very clean, the people I was helping get in there commented all the time on how clean it was. I got to know some of the staff and they were always very nice and friendly when I went there. From what I could tell and just based on the people I was working with, it seemed to be really good. They paid attention if I had a concern and they would follow up on it. They have family nights once a month and they do different themes, I went to three of those and they make it fun. A guardianshipo ended up taking over and they left but he refused to go, he didn't want to leave. What he liked about Elmcroft is it's open and it's easy to get around and get in touch with the staff. I went with Elmcroft because I felt like the staff was very intune and understood what they needed and were always available if I called. It was easy to interact with them and I liked the simpleness of the layout too, I thought that was really good for people having memory issues.

The staff is fabulous, the care's been pretty good, there have been issues where it seems like at times my grandfather will get a scrape and they'll put a band aid on it and unless my mother says something about looking at it they won't. She thinks they need to check on it at least every other day, it's just she expects them to do what she would have done if he could have stayed with her. My mother is going down every day and she's trying to wean herself from it, but it was one of those situations where everyone was in denial about bad his dementia was. The executive director has been extremely open in letting us come in, there's some family drama going on and the staff has been really great about taking care of my grandfather and focusing on his needs. They were gracious and nice and then they were firm but they've been very sensitive to what the family has been going through in all of this so they're very good about not only taking care of my grandfather, but also taking care of the family.

I would recommend it to others. I like that my loved one has two rooms - a sitting room and a bedroom - as well as a private bathroom. It's the only place I saw in the area that had that much space for him. The staff seem attentive, and I see them pop their heads in to check on him when I'm there to visit. He seems to be settling in. The care is good at overall, although we're still working on getting his medications in order. They do have activities and try to get him to participate.

We had a good tour experience with SummerHouse. The rooms were a good size, but the overall facility itself was smaller and we were looking for something bigger. It was just not the right fit.
