Not what we are looking for.

Overall, I gave them a 4 out of 5. The care doesn't apply, since this is independent living (care services come from outside companies). They could improve on their meals. Perhaps have a higher quality, or better variety. My loved one seems to be doing okay though. We didn't do much shopping around, but my loved one seems satisfied, so that's good.

I'm very satisfied with the job they do here. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and caring. The facility itself is clean, well put together, and has some beautiful gardens. They are also priced much more competitively than some of the options I looked into.

The staff is so friendly. They are just a great group, and seem real concerned about her and stay in touch with us. Their prices are all inclusive. They have three wonderful meals a day, the only thing you pay for is the phone. They have housekeeping once a week, they have a bus and a car for doctors appointments and things. It's beautiful place and pretty on the outside too, you can relax, there are 20 acres with walking paths, and even a play area if grandchildren come to visit. I can't really think of anything they could do better or improve on. The people that live there are real content.

Lakeview Park is a very clean, well run and well kept senior living facility where I'd like my mother to live, however, she informed me Saturday morning that she's going to remain living next door to my brother. Thanks for all your assistance and thanks to T.J. for the great tour of Lakeview Park.

I'm very happy with it. The maintenance could be a little quicker to respond. When she was sick they were very responsive. They seem to have good food and a good variety for the menu. It's a very homey environment. It's a nice size apartment.

Robyn was very pleasant and helpful. She answered all my questions and provided lots of information. This was my first facility to visit, so I'm comparing subsequent places to this one. I'm learning more with each contact I make, getting a better idea of the living arrangements we seek, and the expected costs. 'Catered' independent living is one way to describe it!

I placed a conserved client at WFE. I have talked to other lawyers who have also placed clients there and all had nothing but great things to say. I don't have enough experience yet to really give a thorough rating analysis. the only glitch was with my client's pet; when I agreed to rent an apt, it was clearly understood that my client had some mental problems. I was assured that it was not a problem and that with the extra $25, she could have her cat. On the day I was moving the cat into the apt, the manager of WFE called to tell me that because of my client's particular illness, she could not have her cat, and he was of impression the rent we had paid did not include a pet fee. Of course, I was very annoyed and upset because I had assured my client that she could have her beloved cat. I was ready to move my client out of the apartment and sue for damages. I could not bare to have told my client that she could NOT have her cat afterall. As you know, when someone is old, or ill, or both, their pets are sometimes their lifelines to sanity. The manager did call me back stating that he had spoken to someone higher up and the cat would not be a problem as long as I had ample outside help coming in to watch over my client and her cat. This still stings with me.

After a period of adjustment, things are going very well for my friend at Montgomery Park. He has all his needs taken care of and still has his independence, which is a very good combination. This was a very good e decision for him. He is involved with many of the activities, especially the lectures and studies. He has made some friends who also have an intellectual bent. He told me recently that has gained a lot of respect for older people now that he knows people who are, like him, sharp and active.

We looked into The Vintage about a year ago when we were looking at independent living. It was very nice. The facility was bright and light. We would probably have selected it but we decided to wait, and then my mother developed memory problems and we needed a different kind of care.

They are really having a hard time getting the meals out fast. It takes two hours to have every meal. They just get worn out - they sit for two hours before they can finally go back to their apartments, then it's time for the next meal. It just takes too long. I like everything else. It is a great facility. Very friendly, and they pay attention to residents very carefully. I have been very pleased but I do think they have problems with the food sourcing.

Most of it is favorable, she's having a few issues, she can't get anyone to hang her pictures or things like this. What was presented to us is not what she found. It's a little more difficult to get transportation, they did work it out, but it was not the way it was presented. The food fluctuates. I haven't ever heard her complain that it's bad. Sometimes it's better than others. The people who do the food service are just excellent and she raves about them. It was presented that they would go around and introduce her to people in the dining room for her first week to help her adjust and get to know people, and they did not do that. She was so taken with it the location it was close to stores, with a beautiful view of the woods and the deer and you don't get the noise from the road. Every one was so friendly and the rooms were lovely. She didn't even want to look at anymore

My father-in-law seems happy there. He's adjusting well and starting to participate in the activities a little bit. They have a lot of water problems there. The roof has been leaking. They don't update all their stuff like in the laundry room they have things in there that are not hooked up right and it's a big hassle to get things fixed. The food is okay but the portions could be a little bigger. There is a good selection. He's asked about country dancing on a few occasions and they haven't gotten any of that. They tend to have the same things there for activities.

They were very nice. The only reason I was reluctant to have my mother live in that one was because of the street. It's a real busy street so she couldn't walk around outside. She could walk around the grounds. The community was very nice and I was very impressed with it as a whole but the busy street still made me nervous.

It was fine except there is not assisted living at all. My sister had a two bedroom apartment and she was still able to shower and do all that stuff herself. When she needed more care I had to find another place.

This one is also very nice and was the least expensive with the most choice of floor plans. Downside for my mom is that there is no outside patio area. There were a lot of scooters in the hallways which may or may not be an issue. They do not have assisted living.

It's very good. They've been very nice too. They don't have skilled nurisng or anything like that. We have nurses on wheels that goes in and sees my father-in-law but they're not part of the community. It's a retirement community. The activities are good. I've been very happy with them. My only thing is it would be nice if there was another elevator in the place. There is only one and it gets a little crazy at meal times. It's very reasonable and we ended up with a nice apartment. It has a full size fridge, a little sink, and counter space for a coffee pot or microwave. To me that was better because I didn't feel comfortable with my father-in-law having a stove and with all the meals provided is was not necessary.

9/10/2013 - met Thomas and it was fine. A little far out. Didn't like the face that there is no specific place for the puppies. We can fence in an area for the puppies and that was OK.

Beautiful grounds, very friendly people, lots of activities. The cottage we toured was just OK, the outside maintenance could be better. The one bedroom apartment in the main building was fine but too small for the two of us, they do not offer 2 bedrooms.

Nice and open layout. Lots of social space and activities. Very similar to Fleming Point which is also operated by the same company.
