It's very nice out there. They don't provide any care. They have a company out there for hire for temporary things but they really don't have anything in place to treat long term. They have a lot of things going on for the residents. They have bingo and outings and they bring in a lot of entertainment. They also have a program where the residents can earn themselves "boone bucks" by completing activities and you can use those boone bucks at these auctions they have. I think it's a great program to encourage the residents to participate in the activities. My mother doesn't usually like word searches but I've seen her doing some to earn boone bucks which is great because it keeps her mind active.

I'm relatively new here. I've been here about 2 or 3 months. The capacity is about 97% filled here. I moved her to be right by the nursing home that my mother was living in so that I could keep visiting her. I recently lost my mom so it's no reflection on Sunbury Village but I'm not sure what my long range plans are going to be. It's a very nice community. I've met a lot of nice people and been treated nicely. It's a fine spot. I would certainly recommend it to people who want to move to a congregate living situation. Some people are discontent with some things. The size of the place makes the service a little slow at meal times and they won't allow a person to move from one room to another or provide any help moving in the first place. I am most appreciative of everything everyone had done. They've been very accommodating and gracious.

I think they're fine. My mom is satisfied with where she is. It's convenient to physicians and things that she needs. It's independent living and she thinks the food is fine. She seems to be satisfied with everything that they serve. The activies...I don't know that she' participated in too much but she's done some things. I don't think she's done any of the outside activities. I feel for us, personally, it's been a great value because she's not living with us. It's better for everyone.

The facility itself is fine but my mother is not happy there. She has dementia and that facility really isnt' equipped to handle that. It just not appropriate for her so we're going to be taking her out there. That's not a knock on the facility. It's more of an independent retirement community and she needs more monitoring. They do have 24 hour aids but not to the degree of that she needs or the medical care she needs.

They're very friendly. They other day my dad wasn't feeling good and they called me and told me so I guess they're keeping up with the care pretty well. There seems to be plenty of activities for him to do. There's walking, bingo, card games, and I think they have dances every now and then. It seems like they have something going on everyday. My dad has been in there for almost a month and so far it seems to be pretty good. Everybody is different but for us, it's working pretty well.

I like this place a lot and think that my father would be very comfortable here. I also like it because it was in the pre-established budget and logistically it was close to home.

This was a nice place. Tanya was very nice and we had a great visit. I can see after going to Park Place that one really does pay for the meals and other amenities that are offered through higher, much higher rents. This would've been my second choice but after seeing Parc Place, this one fits me.

this looks nice. no 2 bdrm, but one of the 1-bdrm floorplans can be converted. not sure on cost

My folks made the decision to move to Lakeview Park, they really liked the smaller size of the property. It felt a lot more like a home environment than a large apartment complex. The location is extremely convenient, we pre-screened some options for my folks and they picked Lakeview Park as their favorite. [We cannot rate "Care Services" as they do not have experience with any care services as of yet.]

5/2/13 independent living - courtyard 'like walking onto a cruise ship' usual features. Has companies who can provide home health care when contracted with them. 'age in place' 2 bedrm 4145; 1 bdrm 3089-3698; one apartment for $2974 sometimes provide discount; have a guest apt and invited us to spend the night free while looking in area. Community activities,etc. Minutes from Baylor Hospital

Toured The Carlyle last week. I found it to be a nice place and everyone seems to be happy there

Very nice facility and close to us.

This was awesome. You get a very warm, homey feeling and the staff is excellent.

Have visited twice. Parents liked staff and well-lit rooms.

Facility does not offer memory care.

very nice facility seems to be geared mostly for independent individuals

Mom liked it, although studio was kind of small in size. only 1 elevator, long walk to elevator or to go outside from many of the rooms.

This place was really nice and the room sizes were good.
