It's pretty clean, and the staff is very friendly. One thing I do appreciate is that they offer three meals a day everyday of the month, included in their monthly fee. I haven't had any complaints about the food, just about how long the service takes. Also bed linens and towels are part of the housekeeping which is nice. We liked that it was pretty all inclusive. We did ask for some help with the initial set up, like hanging pictures and curtains and things, and someone did come and help, but it took a little longer than I expected. They do have some activities. We haven't had any negative experiences, and we don't have much to compare with. My thing was that they advertise with a banner that there were no hidden costs, but we had to pay a whole months rent up front with the down payment, that is non refundable, and that was a huge hidden fee for me. Their call button system is through the land line phone, and my loved one has a cell phone, and we weren't planning on doing anything different with that, but we had to, in order to have a call button, I felt like that was a hidden cost as well.

We are very happy with the entire community and the people there look forward to getting mom settled in.

My father was only in Cottonwood Estates for 5 days before he fell and hit his head. While he was there, they were good to him. From there he had to seek further medical assistance. $2,300 was required up front, and no type of refund has been issued to us. They require a 30 day move out notice, but in this circumstance, there was no way for that to be done. I've called two dozen times to inquire about this, and each time they tell me that they're waiting on Corporate to respond. I called Corporate and never revive an answer. I leave voicemails, but have yet to receive a returned call. I don't expect a full refund because my father was there 5 days, but a call back concerning the situation shouldn't be too much to ask for.

I really like Golden Mesa. It's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly, and the facility it's pretty clean. The place is comfortable and my loved one is happy there. I'm satisfied with care and services they offer.

Nice, friendly place with a great walking path that circles the property and very caring staff. Super close to groceries, etc. - walking distance for those able to walk a few blocks.

Apartments are nicely laid out. No assisted living. No buy in.

Really like the studio Sarah showed me on Saturday. She seems like she truly cares about the people living there.

My Father is a resident and Montgomery Park has been great for him. They do an awesome job!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Just didn't fit the level of care needed for our family member.

I really, really like Cottonwood, but I am not leaning towards Cottonwood. It's friendly and well-run, but I think I want access to more services.

We enjoyed the different layouts of rooms. A nice choice for choosy possible residents. Jeff Wes a nice man who did a nice tour of the place.

Very promising. All-inclusive monthly pricing, compelling cost comparison; no buy-in fee. Interesting travel deals? Great central location downtown Palatine walking to everything, including train station (Arl racetrack) & groceries.

My loved one doesn’t really participate in the activities right now. This is the only community we’ve had experience with. The food is good. I’ve eaten there a few times. There are a lot of activities if residents are interested in doing them. It’s really a good value for the money.

It’s nice and well maintained community. They have a terrific staff, very friendly. The food is good and they have recently improved. They have nice grounds for the residents to enjoy. The community is very clean. There is decent parking.

It’s a really great place. We like it very much. Most of the staff is quick to respond to resident’s needs.. The activities offered are inviting and varied. It is also a very clean community. I’d rate some of the staff higher than others.

Wonderful place but I think that my mother needs more care.
