The food is pretty good, but I'm thinking its Mostly high sodium, which is not good. Wish there were more foods made available for seniors who really have to watch there sodium intake. It's pretty dangerous for them. I've experienced dinner taking 1 1/2 hrs. I know it's hard to keep the well trained.

Mom has lived at The Springs of El Cajon for only 3 weeks and has settled in nicely. She loves it there, which makes the family very happy. The staff is wonderful, friendly and kind. The apartments are spacious 1 bedrooms with nice balconies or patios (ground floor). Mom loves sitting out on her patio, enjoying the inner courtyard view. Food is OK, could be better (sometimes the entrées are cold, soups are straight out of cans), very few fresh vegetables. Therefore, the 4 star rating ... could be 5 star if the food were 5 star.

Our experience with South Colleyvine Ranch has been a good one, overall. We had some initial concerns, as they seemed understaffed and underprepared for my parents move-in date, but they've recently replaced their management staff and things seem to be going much better. It's a nice looking community, the staff is friendly, and it seems like a very nice place.

I took a tour of this community and I loved how beautiful it is. The staff are so prompt and informative. I got to eat lunch and it was good. The staff showed me all the activities available and it is a nice variety. I did not choose this community because it is mainly for independent living and we needed assisted living.

Overall our experience with Montgomery Park has been a good one! It's a nice looking, well run facility, and they've been very welcoming to Mom. The other residents are very friendly, and Mom is really enjoying the company! I was also really impressed by the visiting nurse they use, when we had to work with her recently. We've had some minor issues with the housekeeping and maintenance staff, but nothing major. Overall it's a very nice place!

I am doing very well at this community. They are very nice and caring. The community looks nice and very clean. The staff is very helpful and sweet. I love the meals and the activities. I am really happy here and I would recommend it.

My wife and I have settled into this community and we like it. They are caring for my wife very well, in ways I was not able to anymore. They are super kind and friendly. Mom loved the floor plans here and all the activities. This facility is more independent living and as such her insurance won’t pay if she goes here. We loved everything about this place though

Expensive but nicest living units. Community fee was more than double standard. Prices are indicative to location. Furthest away from Keller also

Moving my mother in law into Tamarack has been pretty rough. She's tried to leave a few times due to confusion in the beginning but things have gotten better. The staff is a friendly bunch of people and they serve really good quality food! Since things have settled she is now participating in activities and even making friends. As far as recommending the place, I'd say if your loved one requires individualized care/attention this is probably not the place.

Dad hasn't moved in, but we've been moving his things over during the past 3 wks. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. Tawnya is incredible! Bonnie and Delci are great, too. We checked a couple different places and compared services, apartments, costs, etc. PDV was the best fit for Dad. We became concerned when a maintenance request took longer to complete than had been promised...repeatedly. But they were short-staffed at the time and when the job was done, we were very satisfied with the job. Here are some reasons we chose PDV: *they provide FREE local transportation - very important for Dad's trips to the movies, Y, and our home; the apartment layout and condition are nicer; hallways are wider; the common areas (laundry room, library, etc) were cleaner and neater; "open" facility layout is nice; Tawnya is super helpful and genuinely concerned about Dad's comfort and well-being; managers live on-site. I'm hopeful Dad will be very happy here!

Evergreen Place is a nice facility. It is well kept. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere there. The staff is really caring for their residents. When coming into the facility they make you feel at home here.

This facility is a little dated, but still nice and they do a good job at keeping it clean. The staff is very attentive and compassionate. They always go out of their way to help us when we need something.

Well my family and I really liked the property of The Springs of El Cajon. We all really thought that the place was a good fit for my loved one to be staying at and it is definitely a top-rated facility.

My aunt has been there about a month. She has a buddy when she moved in. She can have her cat there, they have been so good to us. We drive about 11 miles to see her. My Aunt is really happy there. They have buses to the store that she can get on. They have cleaning services once a month.

They're pretty clean. I do not have anything bad to say about the facility.

Things have been going fine. I find that if I have any complaints I can bring them up with the management here at The Carlyle and they respond to them pretty well. We are satisfied with them.
