Good community, not a good fit for my loved one.

The staff was good, but there were some maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of. I think the guy who was there had an awful lot to do. I believe just before we left they hired a second maintenance person though. But it needed some upkeep. We liked our apartment very much and were very comfortable there. The other residents were a bit older than us, so between that and my husband's health issues, we didn't end up socializing much.

The meals and dining service could use improvements, that is where we are not getting the best value. It is restaurant style so sometimes the residents are waiting awhile, and sometimes a pretty long time. The services can be slow and other times the quality of the meals are just not good.

Solstice looks older, but it is run just as well as fancier facilities and is much more reasonably priced. It makes it very convenient for him to have access to things that he needs. The apartments are on the smaller side and some are oddly shaped, but they are adequate. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. There are a few things that they could improve on like the friendliness from some of the staff. You would just expect more from the staff in this type of setting when it comes to friendliness. They advertise cleaning every week and right now it is every two weeks due to a staffing shortage and we are not sure how long this will be happening. The landscaping could also be improved in certain areas of the community. Just make sure you research to make sure it is a good fit.

Our family had an in person tour and at wasn't going to work out because they only have independent living and we wanted a place with independent living and assisted living in case our loved one ended up needing more care

a retirement home is the best place for me! After my husband died, it seemed as though there was no longer a need to be in a big house that needed upkeep that I no longer could do...or afford to do. I no longer have to cook, clean or be along again! There are activities just out my door if I choose to participate there's a beauty shop on the premise as well. Best choice for me!

It's a nice living facility. The workers are great. They're very friendly. So are the people who live here. The food is not all that bad, but it could use a lot of help. I would like to see more choices and more variety. They serve a lot of baked potatoes, hamburgers, salads, etc. I think the cost is a little high, but that seems to be the going rate.

A safe, pleasant community where your physically needs care met my children picked it out for me.

Walking into Solstice Senior Livings feels like walking into a hotel, it is a very nice and clean community with a great value. Our loved one has a really nice one bedroom apartment. There are a lot of activities for the residents which is great. Sometimes our loved one can be the pickiest eater so we aren't sure if we can fully believe everything they say about the meals, but when we see the other residents in the dining hall eating their meals, they look like they are enjoying them

This is a wonderful place to live and the people here do not ever move out and have been here for many many years at this community. They have activities like bean bag baseball, music trivia and a dice rolling game to keep the residents busy.

They have a lot of activities going on, the activities room is so nice and has a fire place. The food is excellent, they are chef prepared meals and the soup is the best soup I have ever come across. They have a large variety on the menu and it is always rotating, you get 3 meals a day. If you are coming to tour, they bring you in around lunch time so that way you are able to try their amazing food. They do have transportation, but you are within 2 blocks walking distance from the train and right in the middle of town and tons of shopping and restaurants, it is just a great location. Pace comes through if you want it and it is not expensive. It is a pet friendly facility as well, small dogs and cats are welcome. The residents are a little older, but everyone seems to still be active and likes to socialize. Right now there does seem to be a lot more men here than women. I would recommend to others looking.

I think that this is a great place for a loved one that is looking for independent living. My loved one did not participate in many activities but they had bingo and more games to keep the residents busy.

It was a smooth transition for our loved one, and right now the community is going through some renovations so the overall cleanliness is hard to judge, but the cleanliness of the rooms is really good. The staff members are all straight forward and upbeat. We have not been able to meat a meal there ourselves due to the covid restrictions, but from what our loved one says the meals are great. They have a greenhouse where our loved one is going to plant some herbs, and actually she approached the chef to let them know they can use the herbs. The value for cost with everything that is being offered it is really good and we overall are really happy.

The value for the money is excellent. They are pet friendly and can generally give you a ground floor apartment. We also have 5 raised flower bends that residents are able to tend too, it is a big plus. They have so many activities provided, something is going on at all times. The apartment sizes are great. I do think that they need new carpeting in hallways. Meals are suitable and you have a good variety to choose from. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and right off the bat we did not get a good first impression. It looked very dark and there was not much activity, so instead of wasting both of our times we just decided to not fully go through with the rest of the tour.

Not a good fit for my loved one.

This community was very nice and they were very friendly people, it was larger and walking would have been an issue for my client and her loved ones. The laundry and all the amenities would have been to far from her reach.
