Solstice is one of the better values when it comes to a decent, clean venue for your elderly parent. My Dad loved the food and felt the residents were warm and accepting of him. Solstice is a wonderful facility but the follow up and follow through has much to be desired. Don't take anything for granted and request written follow up as you will be billed well beyone your loved one's stay if you do not receive written confirmation.

The employees genuinely care about my mom and go out of their way to support her. The activity director works hard to plan a variety of options for the residents. The meals are very good, but the entire process of serving meals sometimes takes over an hour, which is frustrating for some residents. They are about to renovate the whole facility, it is going to look great. I would definitely recommend Solstice Senior Living at Columbia to others looking.

What sticks out most about Solstice Senior Living at Plano would be the staff - they are friendly, helpful and caring. They truly care about their residents. I do think that they need to be more proactive in getting the new residents involved in things.

The apartments, are not very big but they are adequate. I picked this community, because I was there, and decided to sign up. The food could be warmer. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

The staff and management work very hard to be accommodating for those who live there. They are also very sympathetic and empathetic towards all the residents.

It is fine. The food is going downhill. They offer cleaning once a week, a laundry facility, and the activities are either card games and sometimes bingo. They can improve byy adding better food choices. Right now it seems they are scrapping the dinners together. Most people there have false teeth and the food it hard to chew.

Everything is super nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. My mom adjusted very well and does love it there after living in her house for like 58 years... You get your own privacy also, as much as you want, and many other activities as well. Beautiful place outside in the summer also - very cozy.

They have a shuttle for residents, but the window of availability is very small and my mom has never been able to use it. Tuesday and Thursday medical appointment times are 10:30-2:00. Wednesday times are 12:30-2:00. They only go within a 15 mile radius. They go to Walmart on Tuesdays at 10. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit to others.

I toured Solstice Senior Living and my tour went very well. Everything was very good. The cleanliness and friendliness were also good. I considered this facility as an option for my loved one.

We liked the community. It felt more like a hotel due to not much natural light inside the community. The apartments were small and needed modern touches. The villas and landscaping on the community camps are beautiful.

The staff are excellent. All departments have been fantastic. They have a variety of activities. The studio apartment is just so-so.

This is a nice place to live. There is housekeeping once a week that is included. There is a communal laundry area on each floor in the building for the residents to use. There are three meals a day served to the residents. The community has a special of the day, and then a standing menu for the residents to order from as well.

I would tell others that this seems like a great place to live. All our loved one's needs are met, and it is reasonably priced, with friendly staff. The community is in an older building that is very kept clean.

I like living here. It's quiet. There are no bugs. It's always clean, and you have the option to have them clean your apartment. Their food is great. The staff are friendly and always available to help when you ask. It's kind of expensive, but you don't have to pay for anything extra. It's all included.

Solstice has been a very nice place for my mom to be. With her unable to stay with us, we feel very comfortable with her staying there. The staff has been very attentive. They seem to understand and care. That has been the biggest positive. There have been a few hiccups, but overall were very happy, and Mom is too. It has been a good experience, especially for the price.

The admin is very nice and accommodating. To get anything done, you have to stay on them. Food is okay. Definitely not fine dining. It's okay for my dad. He's not picky.

They offer activites daily, and three meals per day. Overall, they were available to meet with me, and answer any questions that I had. They need to improve on their Wi-Fi services. I would recommend to other famlies, because they offer meals, and have activities. It is as accomodating, and as welcoming as it can be. For the price, it's worth what it costs.

Solstice was just not the right fit for my loved one the staff and management are excellent just my loved ones needs exceeded their level of care but otherwise solstice is a great place

Solstice Senior Living at Easy Amherst seems to be a good value with a lot of activities. As long as the elderly parents are still fairly independent. I would recommend this facility to others.

Overall, this has been a pretty good facility. They have had some staff turnover and shortages, also a change in management. Hopefully things will settle out with that. The staff that they do have has been very good, though. I'm not sure that housekeeping is being done as often as it should be. There's nothing terribly wrong, I just thought that it was done weekly. It seems to be done more like monthly right now. The food quality and variety could improve. Communication with the family is good. They're very accommodating and responsive when I reach out. They also have a Facebook page, which helps me stay up to date on things. They offer a good variety of activities. All in all, this facility has been a good fit for my mom. I would recommend them to friends and family for certain situations.
