What we like the most about the community is the staff. The staff is aways friendly when i come and visit. I am there multiple times each week. Based on the experience we have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families

My brother has been in Morningside Memory Care for about 2 months. I found them thru A Place for Mom, which I had a wonderful experience with. My brother is 83 years old & has lived by himself for many years. It took him a little while to settle in, but seems to feel more “at home” now. I visit 2 - 3 times a week & staff is always friendly & seems to be vey caring. He is able to function some on his own, but needs help and/or reminders at times. I have had met with Director a couple of times to share some concerns I had but they have always showed appreciation to me for bringing it to their attention. They have a new director that has fresh ideals for activities, especially for the men, since most of the indoor activities are geared more for the women than for the men. I have been over all satisfied with Morningside, but would visit often to make sure your loved one is being well taken of, no matter where they may go.

Staff friendly and efficient… head staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Facility Very clean . Food could be a lot better. head staff available to talk most if the time. Front desk awesome and very kind and helpful.

What we like the most about Overland Park Place is that there is a lot of opportunities to connect with other residents. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I am still adjusting but the staff members are great and the residents are nice. When it comes to the meals they have many options and there are plenty of activities available, however I don't participate. Mostly puzzles, card games, bingo etc. Couldn't get one bedroom apartment in Denver, with heat, hot water, sewer, air conditioning, weekly cleaning, cable tv, and 3 meals a day for what I pay.

Morningside has been wonderful for my mother. They have been very helpful and made my mother's transition from her home to their retirement home, feel like home. The staff is very kind and nice. They're always willing to help as well.

The suite needs regular cleaning. The staff needs to do a better job managing prescriptions. We are pleased with the level of care overall. Just a few things need attention.

Unfortunately, my mother doesn't go to the dining room. I have not heard anything negative about the food. She's just an introvert. Also hard to accurately score the activities. My mother has gone to some of the activities and I thought she liked them, but doesn't go anymore because she's an introvert. I'm going to give Park Summit a 5 based on other retirement communities in the area and they're cost. I've been there and think my mothers unit, the staff and information on maintenance that she has told me about are very good.

The facility is very short staffed which means things take much longer Seems like they cannot hire a chef who has experience cooking for Large numbers. There have been very little variety and bland flavors

We chose Five Star Premier Residences of Yonkers because of the price and the location of the facility/ The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility to others looking.

The only problem we have had is , when we looked at this unit in independent living it came with a medical alert pendant. That was wonderful but because he is in independent it is not always a top priority to answer. That is not what they lead us to believe. They have been for the most part good.

Our experience in the main is good here in Gardens. The people are friendly and competent, place clean and food ok. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend them to other families

Overall, I am satisfied with the experience. The caring staff is really caring and establish genuine human contact, which is the most important.

Areas they could improve on would be - more attention to bathing, dressing and brushing of the teeth. However, we would recommend this community to other families for levels 5, 6 and 7.

My overall experience with Somerford has been very positive... although the amount of communication has great decreased (I suppose no news is good new)My bother has said the food is quite good. He does not, yet, participate in any activities, but those that I observed looked great. I am still a bit dismayed that I had to hire/pay a HUGE amount of money for a private nurse to assist with [name removed] getting acclimated, and then shortly after that, my brother's monthly level of care increased [fee removed] /month. Sadly, safe, locked, memory care facilities are expensive. Special thanks to A Place For Mom for all you did as I was searching for a place for my brother.

It's a very nice place, comfortable, people are friendly, staff are very accommodating. I highly recommend Overland Park Place to anyone looking for retirement living.

Its very nice and have lots of activities. A few complaints about the dining. For instance they are on lock down now for covid and she and several other residents did not get any breakfast this morning

Yes I would recommend. A very good value, small size, good activities, very nice staff. My only comment would be to make improvements to the food.

Based on our experience so far, there are continuing problems with the phone system and the food quality varies from poor to good
