Very comfortable feeling here. Does not have dinner meal served in dining room. Meals are extra price in rent.

My mom is settling in here it always seems to be neat and clean. She opted to have 2 meals a day and they are well rounded. The caregivers are average. They try to engage her to join the daily activities. They have a nice front porch with chairs on it. They offer a bus to go on outings and to the grocery store. They will come in monthly to clean and do her linens but will come daily to empty trash and make her bed.

Friendly staff.

We toured the Augustana Apartments of Minneapolis. It was a very nice community that was clean and looked well-kept. They did a nice presentation of the community. At the time we were looking for independent living for our loved one. Half of the family liked the facility and the other half wanted a different community. We ended up choosing another based on the care needs of our loved one had changed.

We had a pleasant tour of this community. We toured it for my father in law, and his needs. Everything went well, this is a nice community. The community was clean, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff was kind, and our questions were answered. It was a nice experience, and our tour went well.

I am treated very well here. The majority of the staff and residents are great. Anytime I need something or need help, the staff are there for me. Overall, I really like it here

I really enjoy The Pines. It is a very nice community. The staff are very friendly and caring. I have a wonderful apartment with a great view of the beautiful courtyard, as well as a screened-in porch. Before my husband passed away he loved living here. He loved the staff and the quality care he received during his short stay.

After our initial contact with " A Place for Mom " services we were able to view 4 other locations including Elim Shores. Upon our first verbal and personal meeting with Elim Shores we were SOLD on their services, courtesies and available options for our loved one ( Mother / age 92 ). Since moving into Elim Shores our Mother has been able to meet many other seniors and participate in the daily and weekly functions / services offered by Elim Shores with ease. Moving from her long term permanent residence to a new beginning of apartment living at Elim Shores has been an easy transition for her and our family. As with all Senior residences -expenses can be a key factor. Elim Shores offers both FREE services covered in your monthly rent as well as additional cost options should those needs be necessary or just be needed on a short term basis. Whatever you may be looking for in accommodations and services we feel that Elim Shores is a definite winner and worth looking at for a comparison of your Senior Living needs. Good Luck !!!!!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, they did not accept medicaid which would have eventually been an issue for us, so we ended up selecting another community.

I toured this facility twice, last year and again this month. We still haven't decided where to place mom, but this is near the top of our list, because of the staff. There are more beautiful buildings out there (like Waters of Plymouth) but you will not find any more caring and expert than here at Cornerstone, and that counts much more than having the architecture just so. The food here is really great, a varied menu, 3 full meals per day is included with Asst Living rate. You can also do Indep Living for lesser rate. This is the CLEANEST, I repeat, the very CLEANEST of all the facilities we have toured. They are going to install new carpeting this summer but I don't even know why, it didn't look that bad. It is expensive, but all AL facilities are--you are paying for CARE not for the building. The 2nd best thing I LOVE about Cornerstone is the LOCATION, it is in a residential area, very beautiful serene views, yet upscale shopping is nearby (you will need the van, not walkable). I highly recommend Cornerstone. Cost for 1Br 615sf is $4115, medication is $875, additional help is $415/30 mins.

My mom absolutely 'came to life' while visiting Elim! Mark, our guide, was so kind and genuinely interested in what my mother wanted in her next home. The residents kept on with what they were doing while still being just as genuine to Mom. She loved the lunch, the fact that the laundry does not require quarters (!), the Bingo time we stepped in on, the idea of being able to get warmed up to Catherine's dog that she brings in almost every day, and more. And I think the campus was just the right size for Mom.

My mother is there now 2/2014. The building is beautiful, everything is new. The staff for the most part are wonderful. Of course there are never enough employees in these places. I don't like the fact in the nursing home area you have to share a room. And of course like all facilities like this, the cost is outrageous.

I wasn't very impressed with this place. It was an older building. It was like walking into a nursing home in the seventies. The people were friendly. She was there for rehab so it was only a short stay. If we had to do rehab again we would probably use them again. She was a wheelchair patient when she arrived and they got her back on her feet. Other than the age of the building it was good.

A very clean facility with plenty of staff, great food and a helpfull attitude.

Saw again on Nov 08. Like the two bedroom. It's a little older than some facilities, but larger layout.

I haven't heard any negatives about Cornerstone Assisted Living. I assisted a family in finding a home for their loved one and they seemed very impressed with Cornerstone's facility and staff. The staff was very easy to work with and returned all phone calls. They had about three places to choose from that were all comparable; but Cornerstone was their favorite, partial because of location but also because of the staff and the facility.
