Great place that deserves some serious consideration. It's much cheaper than the Heritage although the location isn't as pretty. There are 2 ponds and some nice walking paths so you would have access to nature. The building is huge and there is an indoor and outdoor walking club which my Mom thought was wonderful. She met one lady in the gym working out and they hit it off immediately. The bus is terrific--going to a variety of places in the community and residents can order a trip almost anywhere within a 10 mile radius (that could help with the lack of amenities within walking distance.) The rooms are a bit cheesy--total Brady Bunch decor with no plans to update. I was surprised by that. No ovens in the room but mom felt like she could live without that. They accept dogs. The health care is provided by outside company but they are on the premises.

Meals offered in Independent living? Progresssion of care. Not a buy in. Independent living with light services. 2nd person fee for meals?

Very nice facility. Concerned about the options if we run out of funds.

This is my favorite that is in my price range. Again the rooms were a bit small for the one bedroom apartments but they do have some deluxe models. It is close to me. I do want to see this again with my husband. I wish the bathroom was off the bedroom.

This is the first one we looked at. It seems good, maybe not as much hanging out with people as we'd like but friendly and nice. We like the level system.

Nice setting. hotel feel. breakfast/dinner included but consequently only kitchenette. population was said to have an avg age of 75 but got the sense of a much older population.

This is a neat little place tucked in the woods near a nice sub division- very quiet, serene. The staff is very friendly, very clean and nice facility- I liked the small size- about 50 people reside here. The rooms are small but the rooms are clean and cozy. Cafe where they serve food is a good size and people looked happy to be there. Very good care here at Crystal Pines. There was 2 courtyards to visit outside and an area to stroll. This place met all the criteria for a well run rehab and nursiing home.

I have Chosen Westside Garden Plaza on W 10th Street. It does have the swimming pool.

Very nice. I also visited and like this place. Very helpful, but not taking HCBS at this time.

Went to a brunch there and was offered a tour. I accepted and was very impressed with this facility. I have been in contact since then with the director.

Sugar Grove was alright, but not quite what we were looking for. It seemed older and more dated.

The staff members are all wonderful, and we really enjoy all the people and the physical location of the community. They are working on fixing things bit by bit within the community but they have good response times.

We chose Brighton Gardens of Prairie Village because it was close to my aunts home. The room sizes here are a little on the smaller side compared to some others that we saw. She said the food has been ok so far. The best part about the community so far has been the staff, they are very informative. I can easily call down there and get information quickly and they are helpful they help her when she wants to call me. I would recommend the community.

Morningside is a lovely community. The rooms are pleasant and the care staff are attentive. Activities are relatively limited, but scheduled on a regular basis. Limited physical activities, as many residents have limited mobility. Would like to see more engaging physical opportunities.

My experience living at Lamar court has been pleasant. The resident wonderful. However, I feel the facility is drastically understaffed and has been for some time.

I value the sense of community here at Lamar Court. The residents have become like family to me and i really enjoy the activities and the outings that are planned for us. The staff work really hard to make sure that we're taken care of, but they could definitely use more CNAs' in order to reduce wait times before a residents call light is answered.
