We chose Five Star Residences because of the convenient location, at the time they were having a move in special, and it came recommended to us. I think that the rooms are a good size, they were pretty comparable to others that we saw. She has a really nice size closet and bathroom, but I do wish the kitchen was a bit bigger. I look at the activities schedule every month and they seem to have a lot going on for the residents who want to participate. I would recommend to others who are looking as long as you can advocate for your loved one.

This is a good place to be, if you need to go to an assisted living community. The food is good enough. It can be bland on occasion. The staff are helpful and kind to the residents and to work with.

This community was very clean, the only thing is it was on the second floor and there was no outdoor from the room. This community was very nice and the food was tremendous.

Our family had an in person tour and it was the last one for the day it was around 5PM, and even though the lady was very welcoming and nice, we just did not get the right feel for this community. We did like it, but the layout was different and we thought long term it wouldn't be the best fit for our parents.

This community was just not homey, and did not give that warm feeling that we were looking for for our loved one. The tour people were very accommodating on the tour the community just did not fit our needs.

The cleaning services have been very good and on time. There were some issues with medication management with pain medications when my loved one needed them due to an injury. Sometimes she would have to wait for a while and time management could have been better regarding the medications. My loved ones one complaint was that the food was so good that they were gaining weight.. not a bad thing! For the most part the people are very kind and caring. When my loved one first moved in there was an issue with internet but it was fixed after a few weeks. The maintenance is better than most. My loved one has continued to rehab while here and came in on assisted living and she is now ready for independent living again. All the people involved have brought her a long way.

Swan Place was very helpful and caring in getting my dad in their facility in an emergency situation during the height of Covid. Made the transition easy and he acclimated well. Caring and compassionate people with good communication with the family. We appreciate the extras including rides to doctors. They have a lot of activities. The rooms are very nice as is the entire facility. The only thing we don't understand are the annual price increases seem excessive. Otherwise very happy with Swan Place overall. Would recommend to anyone needing to help their elderly loved ones transition to a facility.

They are doing a pretty good job. My mom has been here for about 4 months now and they are very receptive to trying to help her out She is not crazy about the food, she often complains that things are under cooked and sometimes there is not a lot of variety. The director and lead nurse are very kind and considerate. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

One thing we really appreciate about Carnegie Village is that anytime we call there is always someone available to talk to, and if there is no one available we get a call back in a timely manner. They are really great about answering all of our questions, and overall very responsive. Plus we could not beat the valley.

Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. When you have a problem with something, they try to help you. They've been a little shorthanded, so things have not been going quite as smoothly. But I know they're hiring more people. It just takes time. They offer plenty of activities, and there's always something going on. There are all kinds of stores and things in the area, and several churches. They have a service here that will take us to doctor and other necessary appointments a couple days of the week.

The community has a community fee that we were told could be refunded but that was not the case. Overall it was a good community. I would recommend if your loved one is mobile and able to transfer.

I was very impressed with this facility. it seemed very clean and well maintained, the people I met were all very friendly.

A very nice community. Nice size apartments, nice floor plans, large easy access shower, nice kitchen. The common areas were clean and bright. [name removed] was very nice and knowledgeable.

The staff members were awesome while our loved one was there, they were always very attentive and treated us like extended family. They would call us anytime with updated, even on their way home from work just to make sure we were in the loop. The kept the activities going as long as they had to positive cases, if they did then they would quarantine properly. Once everyone was negative again they would bring the activities back. Now that everyone has been vaccinated they are doing activities constantly, like bingo and trivia. The only detractor was the food, it was more pedestrian and not very appetizing which did seemed odd since they had 2-3 nutritionist going over the menu. However, besides the food we have nothing but good things to say about Morningside, they were just wonderful our loved one was very upset when he had to leave.

Our family had a positive experience with Sugar Grove, everyone we encountered was very nice to deal with. The staff members were very pleasant. Our loved one was on a lot of medication so at time they may of not received the medicine on top, but we would still recommend this community to others.

The community has lots of activities available for residents. I think they really try to engage the residents. They send newsletters about all their properties to the families.

Whenever my loved one has needed something or something isn't quite right, the staff has always been right there to help resolve the issue, especially management staff. It's a small enough community that I feel like she gets the attention she needs. We came in during Covid, so I can't compare a lot of stuff. But they have transportation that takes them to appointments. The food is okay. It wasn't the best when we first moved in, with lots of casserole-ish dishes. But after the first of the year, it improved greatly. Activities have been somewhat limited with Covid, but they're starting to offer more things, such as exercises, crafts, and holiday activities. My loved one seems to be doing fairly well here, and I feel like they see her as a person and not just a room number.

In general, I think the actual hands-on caregiving is very good. The living environment is very good, better than any I've ever been in. The overall look and feel is inviting, friendly, and cheery, and not depressing. The administrative side of things is a little bit disconnected. They made a few mistakes, and they were not as quick to correct them as I would have liked. But the caregivers are outstanding, especially at giving me feedback about my loved one's care. They personally recognized what appealed to my loved one and provided that type of activity to keep her busy. They catered to her interests and what she likes to do, for instance letting her "help" with little tasks that she enjoys doing, which was impressive to me.

We chose Rose Estates because of the convenient location for family and what they had to offer was adequate for what my dad needs and the value for the money was comfortable. The room sizes here are a good size and good for what he needs. These impressions were generated during covid and overall I would recommend them.
