Staff seemed to love their jobs & the residents. They tried really hard with my husband, but he fell several times& was angry because he was away from me. He was not adjusting so I was asked to bring him home. He needed more mental challenges & more physical help. They were geared more to just simple dementia than his Parkinson's. (In memory unit) We need a place here specifically for Parkinson's patients! I did think they took good care of their residents & would be a good place for many families!

The place was wonderful but my Father passed away earlier this year. They handled everything very respectfully and closing the account with them was very easy. There wasn't much they could do activity wise due to his advanced stage of dementia. I would certainly recommend them to others . Their sincere care and compassion made an inherently difficult experience better and less lonely

The staff at Superior Residences is very caring and helpful to the residents. They offer excellent activities in memory care.

I was previously at [facility name removed] but suffered many falls and needed more help, so I moved to Cove at Marsh Landing. It's an assisted living facility and it is very good overall, is just that I have difficulty accepting that I need it.

I highly value my husband's nearly 2 year residency at Heron House. It has been a facility that has given him encouragement and support when he has needed it. I have never doubted the quality of his care. The most important thing I would tell someone about HH is that it has been a SAFE place for [name removed] (Alzheimer's dementia Memory Care). I am grateful A Place for Mom was the guiding hand when I needed it.

Our loved one didn't have any meals, she didn't do any activities and she was only there for a little less than a week.

Very nice place with lots of amenities. Food needs work.

I moved my mom in about six months ago. She's very happy there and has a nice room. Have had a couple of maintenance issues. I wonder how things would be if I didn't live in town and check in on her weekly. That's the only thing - you have to check in, otherwise the staff are quite nice and back area by the lake is quite beautiful.

The facility was beautiful and the staff was also, but the food was horrible and the price was crazy. I know it's not the chefs fault, they have to work with what they have, but it was terrible. I had to order Uber Eats half the month and it was just way too expensive

I would probably rate them a four overall. They do keep the place very clean.. The food is really good and they do have a lot of activities for assistant living and they do try to involve the memory care as much as possible. The only problem that we have had, is that Yoshi has fallen in the floor many times. We have alarms in her bed, alarms in her chair and though the staff is very attentive, she falls before they can get to her. Like most places, no fault of Superior,, they are a little understaffed. The staff and workers are all very caring and understanding. They do try to work with you to figure out the best plan to keep your loved ones safe and secure and happy. Overall, [name removed] seems to be very happy in the memory care section and she has lots of friends. I would definitely recommend superior, to anyone looking for care for their loved one. In all honesty, this is the only place my mother was at, so I have nothing to compare it to. In my experience and my mother having a DNR, there were times I felt they should be more persistent with my mother who was refusing certain things like food or a shower. I now realize that to some degree it is the declining process and am not 100% certain to what degree of responsibility I should hold the caretakers. The staff was very friendly. I could call the nurses directly. There are plenty of activities and outings for them to participate in as well as hair services onsite.

Mom is safe and is happy but they are always short staffed so I feel at times we don't get what we pay for.

We chose Creekside on Bardstown because of the friendliness of their staff. They were very welcoming and made you feel like you were at home. There are only a couple of workers who have been less than friendly.

The food service is terrible. It was great. The activities remain good, but otherwise, it has tremendous management turnover and I keep hoping for better times ahead. Despite problems, I like living here and the price seems very competitive. There is a LOT of traffic noise in many of the apartments.

Safe environment and trustworthy staff. They need to use some imagination on their menu.

Communication between management and employees seemed lacking. Promises were made from the top but not carried out. The time we were there a new director was in place for only a few weeks. She was having a challenge trying to get the staff on board with what her vision was. I believe they indicated that 24 hour nursing was on site for assisted living but I didn't find that to be the case. My mom passed in [date removed] and we moved in [date removed] so we weren't there long.

Every thing is ok it's just it long to fix things my air condition unit have been out going on 4 months they said the company sent away for the part it's taking to long

My mom enjoyed her experience unfortunately she fell and broke her hip. Maybe a little more supervision. Good activities and staff. Very professional and responded to inquiries. For us close for family to visit.

It is really expensive and my mother is running out of money I'm still working on VA benefits but if you know program that will help I would greatly appreciate it because I would love for my mother to stay there despite my rating like I said number one overall is very good
