Our experience here has been a bit hit or miss. In general things have gone well, but there are a few issues I'd really like to see them work on. The biggest issue we've had is that the food they serve just seems to be too "fancy", and my loved one would prefer some more traditional options. I've also heard the employees complain about how understaffed and overworked they are. I can see this being the case, as the response times when you ask for assistance can be very long.

This was an older place. Well furnished but seemed a little shabby.and as well managed as others

Bethany was a good listener, answered our questions & gave us a through tour. Liked the dinning setup, the hair salon, movie room & outside seating area. Concerned with the # of ppl.

It was fair, I guess. I think that the nutrition, and meal plans were a little odd for the age group. There were a lot of meals that people wouldn't eat. The showering facility was not set up for independence. The seats are kind of high and in a corner and there isn't really a rail, they seemed designed to require assistance. The medication management wasn't always done at the same time everyday. They hired a RN so they can say they have one, but she really wasn't functioning as an RN, she was so busy with marketing that she didn't have time to function as the RN. They have some kinks that need to be worked out, they are new. They did a very good job of marketing to me, they were very responsive to me, when I was looking, and they went out of their way to get us in. I was a little disappointed, to be honest. The rooms are really set up for dependency, not independence.

We liked this one too, but the apartment again was too small, specifically the living room.

I toured this community when I was looking into care options for my loved one. I thought this place looked very nice, the facility itself was beautiful, and the staff I spoke with seemed friendly and helpful. This really was an option I was considering, although I decided against it based on advice from friends. They said that the care here is adequate but that it is very much a "business" and their loved one never felt at home.

This is the location we selected for my loved one after her care needs increased, and overall they do a good job taking care of her. The staff are friendly and professional, and do a good job with the care and activities provided to the residents. I feel like they could do a bit better when it comes to the general cleanliness of the facility.

The care is good for the people who are there. The trouble is that they are very shorthanded because they don't' want to pay their people enough so they leave. When we first moved in we got an excellent caretaker and he received very good care from her but she had to leave because after 5 years they still refused to up her pay fro $10 an hour which is completely unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. To think they're going to be able to keep quality people while paying them like that is ridiculous. They are no where near the caregiver to patient ratio that they would like you think they are. Each caregiver gives good care but there are just not enough around. Apparently the management cares more about making a profit than caring for the people. The actual caregivers I would give a 5 but the management gets a 1. There are activities if the people are mobile enough to get to them but if they're not they just let the patients sit where they are. We chose it because it was the closest and most convenient for us but had I known then what I know now, I never would have put him there.

Older facility. Assisted living and memory care. Slightly less expensive than other facilities, presumably because the buildings are dated and in need of some repair.

This place was 'ok' but nothing great. The rooms were tiny and seemed pricey for what you get. The director there was super nice and helpful but the dining area wasn't all that clean and seemed too much like a dirty old diner and didn't seem very comfortable.

One thing I didn't like is trying to get something changed in the room took them forever. My mother wanted a shower curtain put up because they don't come with shower curtains and it took them 3 weeks. Something else is my mom had problems with tv. She's supposed to get cable in her room but she said she was only getting 2 channels. She asked them about and two weeks went by before I called and talked to them. They said that's something the families deal with. The finally fixed it but they didn't want to. This is the one that my mom could afford at the time. They gave her one free month rent so that was nice of them. it's a good place. I really can't complain too much. The only thing my mother doesn't like is they have these bells to call for help and my mom said it's like all night long and it wakes her up during the night because they're loud.

Receptionist was talking with friends when I walked in. I was not greeted nicely or in a timely manner. There was nobody on site that could take me for a tour or give me information. Very disappointing visit. I do not like to schedule visits, I like to see what place is like un announced.

The manager was very helpful and nice, but the room I was shown was not very clean (dirty carpet) and didn't smell fresh. Residents seemed very happy (playing bingo).

Nice place, but the rooms are small. I felt like I was being surrounded by vultures. I know that cost is an issue in these situations, but there was too much discussion of my grandparents finances for my taste. I would have preferred to just gather the information and let my grandparents deal with their own finances. I loved that they have a pool though, and it seemed by far like the most social community!

Beautiful place, liked what they had to offer, but stunk of urine both on first and second floor. Would not consider it because of that.

small - independent living can dispense meds and transfer if spouse needs help when sick etc. liscenced for assisted - 4,250/month - cable not provided. Can stay in same apartment even if start independent and become assisted living. Lovely older small town with lots of antique stores - about 20 minutes away

More country atmosphere and not sure Mom's style but clean (not as new feeling as the other) but privately owned and could make a huge difference since they just increased and last increase was 4 years ago. Corporate owned would increase more. Share a room and 2 rooms share a bath. Total of 4 women would use the same bathroom. Can provide a bed (no cost). Food at both places looked homemade and good.

Really small. has Alzheimer's / dementia care for easy transition from assisted living.
