My father had had a couple health issues in the past year: we mutually decided it was time for him to be in a place that could help if necessary. His one main requirement was on-site dining as he hates to cook. During our “scouting” we visited and had lunch. Sold! Perhaps more importantly, what reassurances do I have; as his only remaining child, that he can get the help he needs if and when necessary. I was given reassuring information. In addition, I have lived nearby for 30 years and know several residents. They all love Robin Run.

The atmosphere of Foxwood Springs is overwhelmingly friendly, supportive, nonjudgmental and positive. This includes management, staff and residents whether in independent patio homes and apartments or assisted living. It is easy to be as involved in the diversity of activities as much or as little as one desires. It is a safe place to be. It is a kind place to be.

My mom and dad have lived at Christian Care for almost 2 years now. My mom lives in a beautiful independent apartment and my dad just moved to memory care. This place has a beautiful natural property with lots of oak trees and a lake. There is a fenced-in dog park, and some residents have small dogs. The people who live and work here have created a wonderful community! Some of the employees have worked here for more than 20 years! I find that simply amazing. I'm so pleased by the kind support that my parents receive at Christian Care. The food is much better than the senior adult apartments they lived in before. There are many activities for them to take part in and I have seen them make friends and really enjoy living in their new home. I also want to say what a wonderful memory care they have. My dad has a nice large apartment. Every time I visit him, he is busy interacting and doing something fun. This is the best of compassionate care for persons living with dementia!

Christian Care Communities of Fort Worth impressed me from the beginning. The staff is informative, welcoming and serves with genuine consideration. Residents are engaged, content and the community environment is upbeat and friendly. My mom who is 87 was nervous about making a change after living for 15 years in a community with fewer services and amenities. She greatly valued her independence but realized the advantages of having onsite dining , physical therapy, salon, fitness, housekeeping, transportation etc. She now wishes she had made the change much sooner. The resident involvement is better than I have seen anywhere else. There are resident wing representatives that welcome new residents and give them the scoop on what is happening and help them to become acclimated. Residents are encouraged to be engaged in activities which are many. The staff response is quick in every area. The buildings, grounds are well maintained. A truly great place for mom.

My brother's health had declined, and he was in need of a place that he could still be independent but have the comfort of knowing people were there just in case for safety reasons. He has adjusted and is living happy, and we all have peace of mind! He did have to go briefly in to assisted living until we all felt comfortable, he would be successful in independent living. Everyone supported our journey and helped all of us feel comfortable about the transition. The staff is very caring and personable and makes everyone feel welcome. He has been very happy with the food as well!

I just moved to the Christian Care Community in Fort Worth. For the past 2 years I have lived in another Independent living facility. The difference between the two is unbelievable. At Christian Care I am treated with love, respect, and appreciation. The staff here is remarkably kind and caring. The food is delicious and well prepared. The other residents are very friendly and easy to get to know. My apartment is spacious, and very comfortable. I am so happy to have found this place and am very proud to call this home. Hands down better than my previous experience with another facility. Love Christian Care Community Charlie

Putting my 88-year-old mom in an assisted living facility , because she has Alzheimers/dementia, was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. But when I found Christian Care Community on Randol Mill in Fort Worth, saw their Memory Care unit and met the staff, I found myself at peace with the decision. It took 5 months before my mom was willing to move out of her house, but [name removed] and [name removed], and all the other staff members, were so helpful and supportive. My mom settled into a routine within two weeks and soon had gained weight (from 83 pounds to 95!). The staff encourage her feisty, independent spirit but keep her safe, engaged, and well-taken-care of. They are adept at dealing with the different behaviors that dementia brings out, and they care for family members with the same generosity of spirit as they do the residents. Rooms and common areas are bright, cheerful, and sparkling clean. I can't recommend CCC highly enough.

My father lived in Parks Memory Care for 1.5 years. Our family had a wonderful experience with the staff, residents, and leadership. The community was clean, and he was always dressed and cared for. We appreciate the staff loving him so well and the patience they had with him. He died in their hospice and was surrounded by love and care. The food was also wonderful; he was a diabetic, and they worked with him on that.

Overall, I give a 5 to all categories except for the activities. I believe the activities need more variety. It’s the same thing every week with the same music entertainment performers. Maybe the residents would like to have more than music entertainment; perhaps have guest speakers talk about topics that interest them; bring therapy pets in; and they definitely need more music variety. Generally, more overall activities for residents. It is an old facility and does need a lot of renovation but from what I see, it is very clean and well kept. Housekeeping is extremely good. I think service and care given is excellent value for the money. The friendliness of the staff is exceptional and the food is excellent.
