from the time we walked into Juniper, we felt comfortable. We noticed the residents seemed in good spirits and the staff interacted with them so nicely. the facility is very clean, and we liked the lay-out. The memory care unit is comfortable for mom and seems to fit their needs. the personal care staff have been wonderful with mom during her transition. We feel blessed to have worked with a place for mom and their guidance to Juniper.

My parents moved into Juniper Village at Meadville over three years ago. The respect, assistance, and genuine affection they've received gives me complete peace of mind on their account. I do not know words to adequately describe how wonderful the staff is. Structured and unstructured activities cover a wide range of interests. The Meadville facility would benefit from some updating.. First-time visitors should not let cosmetics outweigh the priceless quality of care.

Since I moved my mom to Harbour on 9/8/14 I have seen a 100% turn around in her life. She is more social, moving around the community herself. She is so happy now because the people are so friendly there and it is like a resort rather than a nursing home. Her mind is working like it use to and now she is able to have her own belongings there. It is not a hospital atmisphere and is only 5 mins from my home. I hope she can live the rest of her life there HAPPY.

My relationship with Juniper Village of Chatham goes back over ten years when my mother and father moved in together. Assisted living was the right answer for them as I grew concerned about their ability to handle any health issues on their own and it gave me peace of mind to know that if there were any health problems, there would be a professional on the other end of the phone. They developed a social life that had been missing in their prior life. Juniper encouraged them to get involved. My mother was a professional artist and Juniper encouraged her to pain and exhibit her work. After my mother died in 2005, my father remained a resident for another six years, enjoying his social programs and movies. Because of their positive experience, my Aunt recently took up resident at Juniper. Personalities run strong in my family, yet the staff handled each new challenge with care and professionalism. I have been very pleased with the way Juniper took care of my parents and with the way they have been supporting me in the care of my aunt, as she has run into some mobility and health issues. The staff has been supporting her every step of the way. Juniper provides an environment in which seniors can truly thrive. The atmosphere at Juniper is what separates it. The staff personifies a warm and caring home, giving residents their respect and dignity.

I am very pleased with the level of care at Juniper. My parent is indeed safe in a very clean, caring, warm, cheerful and pleasant environment. My professional business requires me to see patients in a number of assisted living facilities and Juniper, in my opinion, is one of the best. Not overwhelming, it has dedicated staff, a welcoming presence, quality programs and dining. An executive director who is hands on along with being visible/responsive. The director of the wellness center and her staff, is highly credentialed and very committed to my parents' health and well being. The director of social activities is also committed to providing quality programs and has provided enjoyable events for my parent. For any family, the decision to move a parent to assisted living is emotional and challenging. I have no regrets with our family's decision to move my parent to Juniper Village. I wish you and your family the very best in this phase of life.

i had heard about A Place For Mom but tried to find a personal care residence on my own. My search came up and I clicked on one. It brought me to A Place For Mom. They were wonderful and gave me several facilities to call. I would not have found Juniper Village at Forest Hills without them. My aunt and uncle have been there a few days and they are both very happy. The staff there has been great. They have called me several times to give me updates on my family. My aunt and uncle were at another facility and I only heard from the staff when there was a problem. I am very happy with Juniper Village and hope my aunt and uncle will be there for many years to come.

Today makes the end of the first week of my moms admission to Harbour of Monreoville although the first few day were trying (for me as well as her) I can now say that I can see hope for mom's happiness and my peace of mindI choose a 5 star rating because the staff made me feel that my angst was normal and that mom's was to I was always being reassured that the adjustment period brought with it a varying level of angst and that wpu;d decrease over time. It has. Mom now has a few freinds a good appetite and motivation to get dressand I'm am finally getty a good night sleep knowing she's safe and happy

Juniper Village of Mount Joy, PA, was one of several facilities suggested to us in our search to find accommodations for my mother-in-law. When we visited the site, we found it to be attractive and clean with a qualified medical staff. Three of us made our decision and settled "Mom" in Juniper Village in Mount Joy, PA, on April 16, 2014. She has been very happy there and enjoying herself with all the various activities. We believe they have a genuine interest in providing a good, healthy environment for their guests and, if possible, an improvement in their quality of life. As a matter of fact, "Mom's" health and mobility have improved in the past few months. We would recommend this facility to anyone interested in good quality care for a loved one.E

I am so glad we found Wood River for my 92 yr old mother. The apts are so nice with a little enclosed patio & the people who work there are the best. My mother is a very hard person to please & she's also a very stubborn & did not want to live in a retirement home but we knew she couldn't be alone anymore since she didn't want to live with us. The staff is amazing. They take care of anything she needs & look after her. It's very clean & they have so many things for them to do, they have a little grocery store for things they need & altho she gets just dinner they have a little cafe for other meals at a reasonable price. Just the other day my hard to please mother said she doesn't feel afraid in there & it's a nice apt.. I was shocked. She rarely says anything is any good unless she's impressed which is very rare. Pam & Deb are the best. We bought the life time care package so we don't have to worry if she needs extra help later on. It's so nice to know we don't have to worry & move her to other places if she needs full time care. You will be impressed. I checked out so many places & this one was far above the rest. We didn't want her in a huge place where she's just another tenant, this place is more homey & they know every one there. Love the grounds too. I give it 5 stars.

My mother has been with Harbour Assisted Living for 3 months now and my family and I have found Greg, Wendy and the entire staff to be extremely helpful, honest and loving to my mother. We are very glad to have her living there and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Juniper Village at Louisville is a comptetent, caring, and stimulating environment for memory care residents. After a terrible year at Sunrise of Boulder, which was traumatic for both my mother and my family, this has been a breath of fresh air. They are on top of all aspects of her care, have reduced the medication that she was receiving (which has improved her cognition) are and always positive about her. My previous experience with memory care at Sunrise, where I was treated as if they were doing me a favor for caring for my mother (at great expense) was so different than this. At Juniper Village they treat families and residents with repect, and let you know that they are honored to take care of your loved one. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough.

It has only been two months that my dad has been here, but the staff has been incredible to work with. Sometime the communications is delayed, but overall the experience has been great (given the circumstances). My dad seems to be adjusting well and has even said he wants to work there. This is a huge change considering the resistance to being palced in a memory care facility. He tells me that he is very happy in the facility. So far we are pleased with the cost and we have not been nickled and dimed to death. I give the facility and staff a solid A so far.

At 93, Dad needed the safety and comfort of a home and loving caregivers in assisted living. As a daughter, I wanted only the very best for him. At Harbour, I have been extremely pleased by the high level of healthcare provided by competent staff who fully address his medical issues, nutrition, daily care, friendships and overall well-being. Everyone has been very kind and supportive to both of us. The setting at Harbour is tastefully decorated and furnished, comfortable and as welcoming as a home. It deserves a 5-star rating! As a World War II veteran, Dad is one of the last remaining from "The Greatest Generation." I felt he should be given the same dignity of care in his later years that he gave by serving in the military. He has been most pleased residing at Harbour. I definitely recommend Harbour to someone looking for excellent senior care.

Mom has only been there a few days. So far the staff has been very helpful in fininshing up any loose ends as well as making sure she has some help getting to know the facility and the activities.

the staff at emeritus always has time for questions from family. they are very concerned with the residents that live there, and there always seems to be an activity planned. even if (like my mom) your older parent is against living in assisted living, this place just seems to work!

It is a very very nice community. It really is just a wonderful place. The people that work there are just overly friendly and overly helpful. We are very pleased with them and would recommend Emeritus to anyone. The staff really is what makes the community.

Everything is nice the rooms are large, the food is great, plenty of activities, staff is friendly, but seem to be understaffed on nights and weekends and easily fall behind and seem to rush through everything.

Staff was wonderful, activities were great. The memory care building needs a facelift. New carpets and stuff, kinda dirty and worn in common areas. But rooms were very nice.
