There are plenty of things to do, the people are very friendly, the place is clean and quiet. We cook our own meals. It's more expensive than living at our own house, but we have no extra expenses except food. No taxes, upkeep, etc. It's worry free living, and we love it.

My wife and I have lived at Parasol since it opened in November 2022. It is a very nice community, with a great staff who respond to the needs of the residents. Service requests are cared for promptly.

Sommerset was chosen by a relative for me and after hearing stories of other retirement communities that were terrible and didn't offer half the activities Sommerset offers, this was the right choice. I am really pleased with the staff, the activities, and the effort that is made to make my permanent home as pleasant as possible. The food is plentiful and good.

I've lived here 6 years and have ben welcomed daily by name by the staff. It is a comfortable home with great menu/dining, activities of bingo/poker and many weekly music programs. The building is clean, well-kept, and feels like home. It's accommodating to disabled also.
