My aunt was only there about a month when she fell and had complications from her surgery. She was not able to go back. I was very impressed with the staff they were very attentive. The food was very good. My aunt enjoyed the activities. I recommend this place to all who are looking for an Assisted Living center.

Interestingly, my husband transferred to Gemstone from a skilled nursing facility in mid June but has only spent one night there. After that first night, he had to go back into the hospital and rehab and will be returning to Gemstone on [date removed]. However, Gemstone has been active in following up with me and has been very good with working with the hospital and rehab facility. But as to your questions, the facility is clean and well- kept. The staff is attentive and the meals are freshly made on site. Meals are home style. All of the rooms are singles which is nice. The facility is small so they don't have a gym or amenities of that sort.

The quality of care is consistently outstanding. Kindhearted staff are willing to answer questions or help out in any way. The property itself is well maintained by being clean and organized throughout the property, not just the common areas; moreover, it is located in a beautiful and tranquil setting. One of the resident's descriptive is 'I'm living in Paradise'. That says a lot to me.
