They offer a pretty good variety of food. They have art, movie night, walking, and they normally have 4-5 activities dailiy. The activities are amazing. They have done a very good job with my loved ones medication management. They also do a good jod with the cleanliness. They could improve on their communication. Overall, I would recommend to other famlies.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a nice community but there was not a lot of information presented up front and we wish while we were there they were more straight forward and transparent

They're really new and obviously going through some growing pains and figuring out what their processes are. But I always saw the Executive Director walking around and involved. She is working hard to make improvements. The assisted living side was beautiful, and my loved one liked the food. But the memory care side, while still pretty and new, felt a little dark / stark. It felt like the forgotten side. They didn't have activities in place that were promised, but they were working on it. I know they had just hired an activities director. I was constantly concerned about her medication due to errors they were making. They had some really great people there who were warm, caring, and would really take their time to try to understand the individuals who live there, including on the memory care side. But there were some not so great people, one specifically that I witnessed being physically rough with the residents. When I brought it to Brickmont's attention, they verified it on their cameras and ended up letting that person go. The Executive Director addressed issues and problems personally, rather than delegating it onto someone else. She does make an effort and is available. And she works very hard. I hope that they get their activities up to date because the memory care residents were always just sitting around a table with nothing to do except watch TV. I do think they are working towards improving that. Overall, for assisted living, it could be a really great place. It's a beautiful environment. But for memory care, I would be cautious to place anyone there in the next six months or so while they figure out their processes and activities.

We were happy overall. We had no experience with activities. My loved one didn't want to participate. The staff were very caring overall in very difficult circumstances. We would definitely recommend others tour Brickmont and consider this community. The staff communication with the family was good overall.

Laurel Glen at Memphis was head and shoulders above other places we toured. It is very updated and nice. With any facility like this, there is a period of time where you really have to follow up and make sure your loved one is getting the kind of care that they need. So I would just tell others to expect for it to take some time for your loved one to get acclimated with the schedule, dining, rooms, staff etc. Overall I would recommend Laurel Glen to others

The staff are very friendly and understanding when it comes to the residents who have dementia. The price per month includes everything except cable which is a separate price per month. My loved one was able to bring their cat with them. The facility is newer (only 2 years old). The apartments, while small, have a nice walk-in closet. They offer on-site PT, if needed. They have an on-site beautician. They have on-site medical services if you sign up for it through Pingeton Health. Their Nurse Practitioner is on-site every Friday. They accommodate my loved one's lactose free and reduced sodium diet.

Brickmont of Acworth is a great place. They provide all-inclusive care. If your loved one will be rooming with someone, they typically match roommates based on their personalities. The staff are pretty friendly. The food is good - they typically have salads and soups, then the main entrée, and then dessert, which my loved one enjoys. The café staff are good at refilling his glass, and they're really nice to him. In terms of care and progress, they could give more updates. But when I reach out to them, they do get back to me.

we love some of the staff, very professional and very caring and helpful; others, it's just a job. More positive than negative. Most about the facility is the staff - friendly, professional not perfect but makes adjustments and responds quickly when an ask/issue is raised. Needs more consistent activities - activities plan outlined in advance weekly. There are NO activities in memory care. That may be very important to people Better access/availability to records of care - (e.g. blood pressure readings, eating, etc.) Ambulance/post hospital processes communicated and executed better. Follow through on discharge instructions.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience the staff were very friendly and we appreciated just how upfront and transparent they were with their pricing. However from the start it was just extremely expensive for us.

We decided on The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes because my cousin had already stayed here for respite and had a good experience. She already knew some of the other residents as well so she did not want to move. There has been some turnover of staff. As far as the meals go, the menu is redundant so I think they could add more variety. I have overall been pleased and would recommend to others looking.

We had a very nice tour experience with Brickmont Woodstock. We just found that another facility fit my loved ones needs better and they had more freedom.

Several patient care techs have been great. But there has been some turnover lately.

We chose Brickmont of Acworth over other facilities that we were looking into because the staff were extremely nice during the tour experience and also the facility did not have that typical nursing home smell to it. I would recommend the facility to others.

My Mom feels comfortable there, and enjoys the staff members and other residents. The staff members all make her feel special and are very kind.The nurse, [name removed] is caring and has always been there for her. It took my Mom a while to get used to living facility, after leaving her home in Augusta. She now calls it her home…I am Thankful!

I toured this community. It was lovely. Very clean and staff was very responsive. Ultimately, they couldn't provide the level of care that my loved one needed. I appreciated that they were honest about that.

This was a very nice community with good follow up. The rooms were small. This is the most economical as everything was included in the price.

This facility was new when we moved mom in. Of course, there were some bumps along the way and we understood that. They had a high turnover with staff. The care was good, but I feel like some of the staff was apathetic at times. But overall, very good. The food was delicious! Wide variety, made by a chef, and was gourmet. Communication was very good. I would recommend them to family and friends.

We were only there for 5 months. There was no " activity director" for most of that time. One had just left, then they finally hired a new one and she broke her leg. We were involved with hospice for the final 4 months,

The activities are good, but my loved one does not participate. It's a really busy place, so if you need to speak to someone, you might have to call a few times. The staff is good-kind-patient, and on top of things. It has been an adjustment but my loved one likes it a lot more. They do a nice job of getting my loved one involved-with eating lunch and etc.

Brickmont of John's Creek is a relatively newer community so it does have some growing pains which is why it received a 4 star overall - when it comes to the care services and staff they do have some turnover and strugglers there. There is room for improvement that will come with additional staffing but overall it has been a positive experience and we would without a doubt recommend this community to other families. The value is great as well as the meals and dining service
