The staff at The Bridge at Paradise Valley was very engaged with the residents. They seem to genuinely care. The activities are very well organized. The only think I can think of that there has been an issue with is that when my mother had an ulcer on her heel there was some question as to whether they should take care of it there or take her to the hospital, but that ended up getting resolved.

At Cherry Creek Retirement Village, the staff is great. The amenities are pretty comparable to other places. The website advertises a swimming pool, but the facility itself does not have one. The facility is aforable, which is nice. Overall, I'd give them a 4 out of 5. I would recommend it to others.

They could have some more activities. I was very pleased with the whole set up. The cleanliness was good and I liked the design of the building. The whole presentation was very good. We were very impressed with them.

The staff and the environment seemed very friendly and open. I liked the layout which gave a communal atrium-like space within easy distance of the independent living areas and the assisted area. They helped me talk to one of the residents to get a sense of how it is to live there. This was very helpful. Its location makes it pretty good for having someone nearby. The meal options did not allow for some flexibility and that is something that we would have to account for.

It was very nice; my mom referred to it as a spa. The ambiance was very elegant. Large spacious activity rooms were they play games and have their theater. Lots of nooks and crannies where they can play cards. It is just a nice facility. It is a full service in that they have independent living all the way to skilled nursing on the same campus. We didn't choose because the rooms were really too cramped.

It didn't have any real negative things, it just wasn't as friendly, even the people who live there aren't as friendly, they were more resistant to people coming in. It wasn't as cheerful of a place either. It was clean and if you asked a question the people were very helpful, the overall atmosphere just wasn't as friendly or cheerful.
