Brookdale

Everyone was super friendly. The administrative staff was very knowledgeable, not just about the facility itself but they gave us outside info - resources for a bridge loan, movers, etc. other facilities told us we were on our own. The place was very clean. And our dad loves the food.

It was a very informative and welcoming environment. We saw several residents out and about and they all seemed to be right at home there. Many smiles from all.

Visited with the staff and discussed the rates and activities there. Staff was very accommodating and helpful answering questions.

The facility is located on a beautiful lake that residents can view from a large patio. The library offered at the facility is very extensive and well taken care of. The apartments are modern and large. Maintenance is quick to attend to projects and very helpful overall.

The services as described seem exceptionally excellent and if my sister chooses this type living plan, Brookdale is my first recommendation.

It was a great tour. We toured Brookdale twice. It was neat and clean. [name removed] gave us lots of information.

My grandmother has been at Brookdale for 2 years now and I couldn’t imagine a better place for her to be on her budget. Not only is the staff and facility standards top notch, she enjoys so much more. From the activities (chair volleyball being her favorite) to entertainment (live music, movies, and holiday parties) she feels a real sense of community. It was hard for her to leave home of 70 years but it was just not safe for her to be alone anymore. Brookdale and the people there help me to ensure that my sweet lady gets to live her best life at 91.

The staff was wonderful and showed us all of the different areas that would benefit our friend. We are are now in a holding period due to the individual we had in mind for your facility, has been in the hospital for the last nine years and has been placed on dialysis and is currently in the hospital. Family will contact you has soon has they know what the steps need to be.

I would give the facility a 5 based on my mom's experience. She noted that the staff were exceptionally prepared and caring. She enjoyed the frequent activities and independent feel to the community.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Had answers to all my questions. Quick responses to phone calls and able to see me in person same day.

I wish they had more activities geared toward men. Staff is wonderful and my dad is very happy with the variety of meal choices, and says the food is very good.

It is a beautiful place, well set up, and had plenty of variety both in meals, activities and services. We liked that the residents and staff were very familiar. Unfortunately, it was slightly above Mom's budget.

The caring staff stand out...type and level of engaging activities. I definitely recommend brookdale. It was hard making the decision to put her in a facility but hands down brookdale was and is the best choice for us

The staff are very friendly, plenty of daily activities and weekly trips, very clean, good apartment size. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The Director [name removed] worked side by side with me on getting my father in law in on Christmas Eve. The staff worked hard getting him set up, not easy having them work so hard on Christmas Eve. Can't comment on activities yet, he didn't have portable oxygen set up until last week. The staff bought all 3 meals each day to help him Really nice place.

Brookdale has been a great choice for me. I love the room and the caring staff. There is a great response to requests for assistance and many opportunities to socialize. Best thing for me is that Brookdale was affordable and within my budget.

All 5's! Brookdale was in its own category for being the best facility. I toured six total facilities and none of the other five even came close to the quality that Brookdale was. Brookdale was one of two facilities where the staff smiled and the residents looked happy and clean. The facility also did not smell like an old folks home. Kudos to Brookdale's management for creating a place where people enjoyed coming to work! The activities director is also incredible! My husband loved being out in the center area, where all activities took place. Sometimes he joined in and other times he observed, but it got him out of his room and associating with others. The staff was so positive and encouraging and the activities were varied, interesting, and fun for the residents. I witnessed the management staff, sweeping floors, serving meals, helping the housekeeper, bring dirty linens, and clothes to the laundry room, engaging in the activities. They were not sitting in their offices!

I have personally went through the tour twice, initially by myself then with my dad (the intended resident). I found all the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond the expectations I had anticipated. When dad or I had questions or concerns, all employees were able and not withholding of the answers. My dad and I are greatly satisfied and grateful for all the time and direction they have offered. Thank you to all the people who worked together for my family and myself.

Our experience with Brookdale is a 5. We just lost my Mom and they have been and continue to give my Dad and all of us great support.
