I live in a senior living facility yet found I needed a bit more than they could give without shorting other residents. So I decided to hire help. I initially met with perfection, caring and understanding right away. The young lady I was matched with was beyond pure perfection for my needs, wants and especially my personality. She was quick to get the work I needed completed and lots of misc other things. I was never hassled by the office to add time or days. When my little jobs were completed, as much as I would have loved to keep my helper, I had to move along to take care of myself now that I could. She was the sweetest young lady I had met in a long time. The parting of the company and I was businesslike but underneath a run of still caring. I know that should I for any reason require outside assistance, I would not hesitate or think twice about calling them again. Thank you Acorn and your employees for helping me when I needed it and for leaving a warm spot in my memories.

My sister and I chose A Place for mom to care for our mother. The team did a wonderful job staying with our mom as we were in the process of transitioning her to facility care. The team was very prompt, professional and kind to our mom. I would highly recommend A Place for mom if you are looking for in home care for your loved one. Everyone listens and is supportive and kind. They care about the patient and really try to match their staff to the patients needs and personality. They are so helpful and extremely organized. There is great communication between their staff and the family.

My surgery was postponed due to a more recent injury to deal with so my care was different than I had earlier anticipated. Both ladies that came to my home were acceptable. If I am able to have the surgery, I plan to use this agency again.

My parents were to the point they couldn't really be at home alone. But they refused to leave there home. So we told them if they were gonna stay in the house, they had to have help. My friend needed caretakers to check in on her 2x/day and they needed to be hired within the week. One You Love Homecare, husband and wife team met with us the day after I called. They were very kind and supportive and had help arranged the next day. They kept in touch by text/email. Everything was handled very smoothly. They found a caretaker who fit my friend’s needs. After the first 2 weeks of my father being home on hospice, I started to feel the overwhelming responsibilities on being his primary live in caregiver. Although their services were only needed for a brief time, they went above and beyond to make sure Someone was available when we needed them.

I researched several agencies before choosing Griswold Home Care. I like the idea of no contracts. Also their price is reasonable. I have had a very pleasant experience with Senior Helpers. I have used 2 caregivers both very courteous, efficient, and punctual. The administrative staff is diligent handling my scheduling concerns.

Needed some temporary help and got the best caregivers from Seniors Helping Seniors. The schedules were very flexible and they were always kind and patient.

My person comes once a week for four hours. She does light housekeeping if it's needed and changes my bed linens as I have a balance issue. She also takes me shopping as I no longer drive. We use my car. She also takes me to doctor appointments when my daughter can't. So, some weeks she comes than once. once. Bonus for me is i get to stay at my house! I am so thankful I chose A Place For Mom.

FirstLight went above and beyond to get a caregiver in place with very short notice after my sister was discharged from a rehab center. The suggestions on how to make the home more accessible and safe was also helpful. All of the caregivers were professional, kind and worked hard to make things easier for my sister as she continued her recovery at home.
