My husband and I have been residents at the Manor for 12+ years. We loved it when we moved in, we love it even more now. We have a saying..."We're not fancy. We're family." That describes life at the Manor very well. We offer everything from villas (freestanding homes) to apartments to mobile homes. The relationship of the residents to the staff is wonderful. Staff are all willing to help and go beyond their job description when needed. The food is delicious and the variety is satisfying. Cleanliness and maintenance of buildings and landscaping is top priority for those departments. There are so many activities of varying kinds that no one person could possibly do them all. Assisted living and nursing care are readily available also. The Manor isn't perfect, but If you are looking for a great place to spend these years of your life, my husband and I highly recommend Westminster Manor of Bradenton, FL.

Wife there in nursing home [date removed]. Care was very good. 15 day minimum charge steep. Billing and bookkeeping poor at best. Still waiting on refund of charge on pills I provided.Corporate office not much on customer service.

Everyone was very helpful and I begin feeling better almost immediately when the start of the occupational and physical therapy. The staff is very pleasant and enjoyed working with them. I thank them for my progress which enable me to go home feeling capable of handling myself at home.

We had a very informative visit with the sales director [name removed]. She was able to explain the ins and outs of a very import life decision. We were very impressed with all the new construction at the Shores . I would recommend a visit to anyone thinking of joining a continuous care retirement community. The sooner you plan the better.

It was just awesome. What they did for the residents was amazing, the groups and entertainment they brought in for them. I loved how clean and updated it was. Everything was just sparkling clean. It was Christian based, which is very important to me. I believe that's one of the reasons they were so good, because they have higher guidelines than some of the other places. And they provided more of a variety of care there, but I don't believe they had 24-hour nursing. We would have loved to have our loved one there. It was gorgeous, very nice, had an amazing library, offered art classes. Everything you could think of was provided there, with state-of-the- art equipment. They had retirement villas as well, and a pool for those who are able. The amenities were great. On our tour, they offered us some fingerling sandwiches and desserts, and even sent some home with us. Everybody was very knowledgeable. Anybody you asked a question either knew the answer right away or would find someone for you who did. I would recommend them. They were top notch. I would have loved to go there myself. The cost was the only thing stopping us.

I just had my first visit to our new medical office. I walked in and was greeted pleasantly. After giving my name and apartment number, I sat in the waiting area for about 5 minutes before called back to exam room where vitals and medical history were taken. Nurse Practitioner was wonderful. She listen, she examined, she explained, and then sent prescription to my regular pharmacy. I was back in my apartment in about 45 minutes. No waiting for appointment. No drive to MD office. Wonderful experience.

Westminster Palms always has a lot going on, just the other day we went down to the beach to have a BBQ. The location is great we are right next to downtown St. Petersburg, and we have room on the 11th floor that over looks Tampa Bay. The independent living apartments are so lovely, and they are very accommodating. The lady in charge of marketing was absolutely wonderful. She was never to pushy, and she was always available to answer our questions.

Senior living as It should be . There are a variety of buildings with varying living options that range from independent living to skilled nursing. Every progressive stage of life is available once you're a resident. Comforting. Specular apartment homes with varying square footage and room combinations. Clean, active, great location, transportation, health center, meal plans, activities and upscale amenities. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and informative without any sales pressure.

The meals and dining services before covid was grand, we had a wonderful salad bar that had about 40 different items. They have several buildings to chose from, I absolutely love my apartment, it has washer and dryer in the unit as well as a dishwasher. The location is grand.

I chose Westminster Manor because my daughter lives in the area. We came to visit because my daughter had been here before and liked what she saw. The residents and the staff are very nice and friendly. I feel more free here and it has been a good fit so far, I am in a modular home. The dining room is not open right now, we have a choice to cook our own meals or they can deliver a meal a day during the pandemic. The food is pretty good all things considered. I have no complaints. My favorite part about the community so far has been the friendliness of everyone that is here. I would recommend the community.

I would tell my friends that they provide an excellent nursing care. The room for my loved one is old and the community is being renovated. The rooms were cramped, in the nursing care. The assisted living rooms are beautiful. During the COVID period, they have done an exceptional job with my loved one. They have been very informative and giving updates for the families. They have even done virtual calls. I have been able to pick up and drop items off for my loved and has had no issues. The care for my loved one has been excellent during the COVID time frame and my loved one is doing really well at this community.

I have lived at Suncoast for almost 15 years. It is the best place I have ever lived in. The residents and staff are friendly and caring people. This is the best time of my life and I could not ask for more!

Westminster Woods on Julington Creek is truly a five star experience. Even with the constraints of COVID19 restrictions, the team here keeps us informed and most importantly safe! All deliveries are centralized so random exposures are minimized. The maintenance crew is top notch and ever happy to help. Activities are resuming in controlled waves. We moved into an independent living villa, which was beautifully refurbished. The grounds are lovely, folks are friendly and Westminster manifests its motto: “Live well. Be happy.”

Hi - my wife and I moved to Westminster Bradenton Manor in December of 2011. We had visited many communities in and out of Florida. Some were just too fancy for us (I'm not into wearing a tie and jacket for my meals - never have, never will), some were not very friendly, some had what seemed like only old fragile people who were just waiting to die, and some were just not within our financial status (I'm not crazy being around folks with a lot of wealth who like to remind you of that fact more times than not!). We had looked for 8 years, having been accepted in several of them but it just never felt like the right time. One day I suggested to my wife we take drive up from our home we just had moved into to look at a place called Westminster Manor. We weren't really looking to make any decision that day but when we talked with Marketing Director, [name removed], who showed us all around the independent living options, we changed our minds and put down a deposit to hold it for us, for a more final decision. The very next day we came back and made our decision to live in The Manor in a Villa. It was a decision we have not regretted even for a second. Our decision has been strengthened by the decisions of the Westminster Communities of Florida to keep our residents and staff safe from the COVID-19 virus. As of this writing, the 16 Westminster Communities in Florida have not suffered one resident death, which is really remarkable considering the deaths that have occurred in other CCRC s in Florida. We highly recommend Westminster Bradenton Manor on 21st Ave W. in Bradenton as a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming community to anyone looking to secure their future life plans.

Westminster Point is the best in the area based on the total value and what you get. You get what you pay for. Room sizes and community layout are excellent. The food is excellent. The services are great.

The kitchen and bath in my apartment in Azalea Gardens was just cleaned by two of your staff. Thank you so much for this service! The two employees who visited me were so pleasant and helpful! One worked on the kitchen, and the other on the bathroom. It was so nice to have their help, and I enjoyed talking with them, too!

The staff immediately made my mother, and myself, feel welcome. A lot of effort was made to make sure my mother knew the other residents, participated in activities, learned her way around, etc. The aides know me when I visit, and report how my mother is doing. There is a definite feeling of "caring" for these residents, and kindness, that we did not see in her previous location. She is happy, and so are we.

I have been a resident for a little over a year & this was one of the best decisions I have made.

It is a beautiful place to live. Am enjoying meeting new people.

Westminster has been a wonderful place for my mom! She has a spacious room which is bright and sunny. The food is excellent and all of the staff are very caring and attentive. They provide rides for shopping and doctor appointments and have many activities for the residents to encourage relationship building and support. She feels safe and enjoys the independence she has, knowing support is immediately available if needed.
