Units are very large. Friendly & responsive staff. We picked this community because, it's a larger community, layout of building, decor, staff, close to relatives. They also have a full large kitchen.

The Staff are always keeping the residents active and engaged. There is a very open atmosphere for residents and visitors to come and go as they please.

I have been living at Proprietors Green for a few years now and am so happy that I made the right choice. I have made new friends and love the food and activities and the staff are truly kind and and caring. There is always something going on to keep us busy. Would not want to be anywhere else.

I toured this community and it was beautiful! Very clean place and the staff was very friendly. The décor is a little more feminine, but nice.

The communication with the family is very good. If there are any mistakes the community takes responsibility. They have done a good job at making my loved one is comfortable, social with other residents, and feels at home. There are three meals a day served and there are choices for the residents to choose from. Some of the activities available are concerts, outdoor picnic dinners, games, exercises, and more for the residents to choose from. The maintenance team is responsive to requests made by the residents. There is a loud hum when the heat comes on in the apartments in the community. The community stated this is consistent across the board and they are aware of this noise.

My mom loves it there, I have no complaints! She's receiving all the care she needs. She loves the food and thinks they're delicious. My mom does every single activity that's on the schedule. They're really good for her and they keep her busy. I would definitely recommend Village at Proprietors Green. The residents there are very friendly and the staff are very friendly too. They'll make sure you have what you need. They are also responsive to emails and calls. For example: her trash hadn't been taken out, but they made sure her trash was taken out right after that. They're great!

The main reason we chose The Village at Duxbury and Allerton House was because our mother wanted to stay in the town she was living in for a long time and the setting and facility was very nice - it was a pretty easy choice for her. They also just had everything that we needed at the time. They do what they said they were going to do and following through with promises made. My mom has actually helped the activities director put together and plan outings for the others residents which is really cool.

The staff do care about the residents and they have a decent numbers of people who have been there for a long time which also tells us they care about their employees which is very important. We would recommend this community to others.

We loved Allerton House. It is a lovely facility and I would have felt comfortable having my parents here. We chose the other Allerton House facility only due to the fact that it was closer to us, both were equally just as great!

We chose Allerton House because we really liked the staff, they had updated the facility within the last 5 years, and also the fact they had memory care unit that seemed really nice. If she needs to, it would be an easy transition and I would feel comfortable with her being there. The room sizes are very good. I think it is very important for whoever is looking for any facility to go visit in person to see if it would meet your needs best and if you like the staff.

It is a lovely community. The grounds are small. The building is decorated nicely. I wouldn't mind living there.

The cleanliness of the community is great, as well as the staff members. My experience so far has been great and the food is really good. The activities have been pretty limited due to the pandemic, but they are slowly starting to bring back the main activities.

Overall our experience has been good, we have been very happy. The staff has been really great and very helpful and overall supportive and have just gone out of their way to help our loved one since she recently broke her wrist.

I would highly recommend it. The community keeps the residents engaged and safe. They have multiple activities, the friendly nature of the staff, and I think they really take care of the residents. My loved one had a one bedroom.

The community is clean for the most part, but there is some odor on occasion. The staff has done a very good job remaining in communication with us during the Covid-19 pandemic and have showed a lot of compassion and caring. They have done a good job with protecting the residents from the virus and have stayed very ahead of it. Every time they see my in-laws, they stop and talk to them and get to know them. They have a very nice rapport with their residents. They have been very responsive and caring when my in-laws need assistance and work with them as best they can to accommodate for their needs. They do offer a variety of activities, such as bingo or outside musical entertainment.

Very nice place, [name removed] gave my son and I an excellent tour and she was very helpful.

I really liked this facility very much - it was very nicely decorated, bright and inviting. Felt less like senior housing and more like a nicer hotel. I loved that it has a walking trail and beautiful grounds with nice views. A lot of differing and open spaces for residents and their families to enjoy. [Removed]was extremely nice and very helpful in discussing options between independent living and assisted living. Rooms were good size though carpeting seemed aged and in need of deep clean or replacement in the actual resident room that I was shown.

She just loves it at The Village at Duxbury and Allerton House. It is still an adjustment for her to learn everything there is to know about the place. But she is already participating in so many things that she didn't engage in before. She has been using the pool and walking and she was so proud to share with me that she has even done some yoga classes. We are really happy for her. She loves the staff who are friendly and welcoming. They even remember my name. The Village definitely has a family feel. This is her first place to live by herself and she loves that she can enjoy social time and then go to her room and have some alone time if she wants to. The food is phenomenal. They have lots of good and healthy choices. It is very clean and well-kept. There is always something going on to keep her busy and happy. I would highly recommend this community to others.

Great location, peaceful lsetting, walking distance from my home, close to town offerings and transportation to Boston. Well-designed U-shaped studio, where bed did not take center stage! Plenty of storage, feel of privacy and ownership. Lots of activity options, 2 meal seatings, staff knew residents by name and history. A real sense of caring.
