My loved one's social worker had trouble getting a hold of the administrative team, but this has been addressed and won't happen again. It is okay, but not happy with the results overall with care. For the most part the communication with the staff has been good. They have bingo and other activities for the residents to choose from.

Least expensive of the 3 locations we toured. Oldest facility of the 3. Caring staff. Dr. On call 24 hours but not on site. Small room sizes.

The facility itself is very nice, it's always clean and the staff were friendly, and I felt like overall they would have done a good job. However, we had a very very unfortunate incident occur which resulted in the loss of my loved one. The facility had a fire drill, and with the combination of alarms going off without warning, and having to be carried through the halls and down the stairs by a stranger, it was too much stress and my loved one suffered a cardiac event. I understand the need for fire drills, but I believe this was handled very poorly due to the nature of the community and care needs of the residents. If there had been a notice beforehand I could have been on-hand to keep my loved one calm, and possibly prevented this outcome.

The nurses at this community were wonderful. The rooms are on the smaller side, the cleanliness was not always kept up. The food is pretty good, that was one of things we really liked about it. The location is nice, its very close to where our family lives. The outside of the community is very nice.

The staff didn't care for my individual's hygiene when they were in the community. Management was always talking the good talk; however, there was no action to their promises. I wasn't allowed in the community due to their COVID protocols. I can't recommend the community due to my experience with them. The individual I had in the community had items that we brought in and the items were exactly where we placed it on the first day, and it appeared untouched by the staff. There was a goodie bag of the favorite food items, and this was never opened. The director never showed up on the day we moved the individual's items out to discuss our experience with community.

This place is short staffed, poor quality care, and the state has found various violations... Best to call Area of Aging and State before you sign all the papers for your loved one.

Involved in defrauding and exploiting my mother, and violating many laws and her Constitutional rights in the process. Evildoers masquerading as professionals. Why the Saxonburg police will not do their job is an open question. Someone for heaven's sake help us.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others. They didn't have any comforts or homey feel to it. On top of that my loved one had a negative reaction to the tour.

I would not consider this place, period. Leave this off your list. Bought my friend a shaver, never used. Bought a cell phone, never used and still in a box. I could never reach him. Never got to see him due to covid lockdown. Could not experience the care he had but he was there less than a month and suffered a brain bleed.

Place is clean, staff friendly. I didn’t leave my dad there because of the administrator. I believe her name is [name removed] . She is unprofessional and degrading. She talks down to people. She is an LPN, Who thinks she’s a doctor . It’s scary knowing a women with a limited education talks to people/Families like we are stupid. As a professional, I hope the owners hire a replacement with more of a. Nursing education and some bedside manor .

The memory unit is severely lacking. One person works for 16-20 people. Place is not clean, no activities, no individual attention, meals take forever. And don't try and call and reach you loved one by phone. Phone rings and rings and rarely do they pick up. The price is high also for what they provide. Sadly, please don't place your loved one here before you check it out completely. I would say ask if you could spend the night and do an assessment. I am not saying the people don't care just that people are human and can only do so much. Is this where you want your loved one?

The memory care center feel like you are going into the dungeon. Its cold and depressing. All of the furniture is ancient and dirty. The bedspread are disgustingly old. There are NO activities that go on for these patients. They are plopped in front of a tv. That's their activity. Some of the staff use very bad language in front of the residents. This is not a place you want to put a loved one. In addition they recently had a resident wander out of the building and across the street to a store . thank goodness he was brought back safely. No thanks to the staff on that one.

My husband had been here for seven months . About one month in they lost the activities coordinator for the unit and have yet to replace them. Yet they still falsely post an activities calendar for the unit and none of it goes on. I have asked numerous times when are they going to hire someone and the director tells me soon but no one is hired. My husband is young and.needs activities rather than sitting in front of a tv or in his room. He has finally settled in an now we have to think of moving him !

Memory center's vibe is cold and clinical. Carpets and upholstery are dirty and shabby. 2 bedrooms only with a warning to label everything because of "wanderers"

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Looks like a nice place, right?? Please beware, minimal staff, little to no activities, little to no interaction, little to no care for the residents, food is not that great, communication is terrible. Please go at several different time frames to get full perspective of facility. Seems quiet and peaceful but that isn't always the best.

Really surprised to see such good reviews. Toured this place recently and there was feces in the only shower that 12 memory care patients use. The couches were old and disgusting. Stained. The whole memory care floor smelled very offensively. I probably wouldn't even put my dog in here. Will not be back.
