If you need to stay local, Seasons is a good alternative. The staff are very easy to work with the family if we have any questions or concerns. The staff really look after my loved one. The community provides pendants or cords for the residents to pull or push to gain assistance from the staff. The hospice, Monarch, has done a fabulous job, and the community has done great working with them as well.

They are lovely at this community and very clean from what I have seen. I feel like they need to do some updates and do some organizing. They are very nice and engage and speak with him often. The staff are kind and nice and take instruction well. Whenever I have a question they are very open and make sure that I am aware of medications and anything else needed. My loved one loves the meals. They have two outdoor courtyards that the residents can go to. They are locked for the residents safety and my loved one likes this. They mounted a t.v. for my loved one and put up pictures that I send in. I really love this community the affection and support is there that he needs.

My first impression of Nortbert Personal Care was that was very clean and no fowl smells. Everyone does a great job keeping the place clean. Also the cost was a big factor, they do not charge for different levels of care, it is all inclusive. They work with all types of bed lifts, the staff are very well trained. They pretty much care for all types of disabilities.

No one inside the facility has gotten covid so that has been huge. He does complain about the food a lot and so do other residents, they are eating in 2 shifts and he is in the 2nd shift so they get leftovers. The activities director has really tried to keep residents busy, I feel bad because I know they are limited on what they can do. They have increased prices for rent and things such as having to pay extra for laundry. I would tell anyone who is putting your loved ones in a facility to get all the medical stuff figured out before you place them because of covid regulations you cannot take them out.

Staff loves their residents like a lot of places, the only complaint is they are short staffed, this happens a lot to businesses in our area. They are doing the best they can, short staffed they still take good care of their residents

My mother was a resident, like most, she did not want to leave her home. She always said this was the best place for me. She made friends and enjoyed her time there. Thank you to all the staff

The staff are doing a good job of caring for mom. They are attentive and helpful. The food is good and they are accommodating when it comes to her diet needs. The hospice nurse is good at communicating with the family. We like that they have nurses here daily as well as two doctors on call. This is a nice community and I would recommend it.

The food is good. The staff are nice and take good care of my loved one. I think they could use a few more activities. The community is kept clean and the grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community.

[Removed], who runs the Home, is an absolutely loving and caring provider. As a career nurse she offers valuable insight into residents care. Facility is very warm and homey, with large rooms. Location is a bit tricky. This was a tough choice.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my mother here. The community looks nice and clean. From what I saw everything appeared to be well maintained. The staff I met were kind and friendly. They are caring for her and her needs well. I'am comfortable with the care they are providing her with. Overall this is a community I would recommend.

The staff members at Elmcroft of Saxonburg were just great to my loved one from the beginning all the way through to the end. It is just a really friendly environment that is filled with all around good people.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a nice place overall, it was clean and well kept and the staff were friendly. However, I don't think it would have been the best fit for my loved one, we were looking for something a bit larger and more active.

We toured this community when we were looking into options for my loved one. This was a very nice looking community, it was very clean, it looked nice, and every seemed very friendly. However this community was a bit too far to be an option we could consider. One very handy service they provided was that at the time of our search my loved ones were in VA and couldn't be here for the search, but Elmcroft was able to conduct their care assessment at one of their facilities in VA which would be applicable here.

I only toured this location, but it seemed very nice from what I saw. The staff I met were friendly, and the facility seemed well kept.

Our family was scheduled with several different tours as looking for a place for our mother. The staff and director were very friendly, place just didn't have the feel or care we felt was need for our loved one. Nice place though.

The food is good and they have activities most every afternoon. They are understaffed like everywhere else.
