We have only had mom there for a week. So far the facility is wonderful. The meals are tasty and the staff are friendly. I have concerns with Corso Care and hope you get them sorted out. For StoryPoint, I would say 5 stars.

What we like the most about the community is - *The brightness inside the apartments. *The bright and beautiful atrium-- as the center of the common area which is constantly frequented by the guests, this keeps a feeling of a beautiful hotel rather than a center for assisted living. ** the rose garden and porch on back of facility is phenomenal--too bad the doors are not kept accessible

I contacted about seven facilities and toured many of them looking for a care facility for my dad. Glen Abbey was perfect, not too big and not too small. The facility itself is beautiful. And I honestly don’t have the words to describe the incredible staff. Transitions can be hard for our parents going from home to being in a care facility. From the moment dad moved in, he felt right at home. The staff got to know him, and he got to know the staff and they became fast friends. My dad enjoyed the exercise activities, being able to get a haircut without having to go outside, spending time with other residents, watching movies and eating popcorn, and making new friends. He was proud to have his friends visit his new apartment. It is always difficult finding a place that can also give you a piece of mind that your loved one is being taken care of in the best way possible. Glen Abbey does this. I don’t think he could’ve received any better care anywhere else.

It was a quick transaction for her and the staff have been so helpful and responsive. I would absolutely recommend to others.

I can actually give it a five. And the reason for that is, I do not expect for people to have to wait on me hand and foot. And I know it's gonna take some time at different times to get my food. I do not believe in gripping and complaining about that like most of the women do at StoryPoint. I love how they try to make you happy and the staff is all friendly. Because I make sure I stay friends with them. I do not complain about the least little thing they do wrong. When I need something done, it gets done and I appreciate them very much for it. I went into StoryPoint saying this is gonna be the best years of the last few years I've got left. And I'm bound and determined to make that happen. I do not sit at the tables and complain or talk about other people. If I talk about anybody, it's all for the good. Thank you for hearing me out.

This is a wonderful place. I feel so loved. They let you live independent but when you have questions or need help they are there with a hand. The activities are wonderful and the friendships I created here are now extended family. I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the best place.

I love the activities here. I love my apartment and my patio Outback with a great view. Food is great. I have created so many wonderful friendships here at the community. Wonderful management that takes care of us.

Our Mom lives at Storypoint. It’s a very nice place. She is extremely happy. The staff is very friendly and helpful to provide the best care for her. They keep her engaged in activities. I would recommend Storypoint for your loved ones.

When searching for a new home for our mom we were very blessed to find Danbury. From the moment we walked in the door we knew this was the home for her. The staff was amazing, attentive to her every need. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, as are the other residents. Many activities for our mom to do and an especially caring chef in the dining room. Our mom was always saying "they take good care of me". Although her time there was short, she truly loved her care givers! We highly recommend Danbury for anyone needing assisted living.

The environment & staff of Story Point assisted & memory care neighborhoods is beyond my expectations. My sister loves the kind yet firm staff, especially when she doesn’t feel like engaging, they are excellent at redirecting her lack of enthusiasm to one of “ now, aren’t you happy you got involved?!” She really enjoys the food, & the service & attention, especially when giving out snacks& treats. Her room is always clean, laundry always done,& she is always clean& beautifully dressed with care to have matching outfits each day. Thank you Story Point ,Birmingham Michigan.

Very bright, clean and beautiful facility. Staff very friendly and always helpful. They all make an attempt to include residents in activities, and make them feel part of the CascadeTrails"family". I feel that my mother is safe and well cared for.

The folks at Danberry are excellent! I loved working with [Names Removed] and the rest of the gang. The residents are super nice and always sing along to the music I provide. Keep up the great work guys.

Having had experience with other senior communities, I can confidently say StoryPoint Waterville is the superior choice in the Toledo area. They supported us through a difficult transition with unmatched kindness and compassion for our family. The staff is genuinely caring, visible, and interactive every single day. The restaurant-style dining is excellent, and the team went out of their way to find a welcoming table to help my father-in-law socialize. Daily life is engaging, offering everything from visiting animals to shopping trips. Additionally, the top-notch maintenance team addresses any issue almost immediately. We also love the convenience and cost savings of their in house partners. Being able to choose services à la carte with their in-house physical therapy and home health partners makes life easier. Even in independent living, my father-in-law is looked after in a way I haven’t seen anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things and highly recommend them!

Danbury is a really nice facility that's clean. The staff is kind and nice to my mom. The nurses are especially good to her. They do seem to be short staffed at times and can't come in to be there when my mom takes a shower on the days they're supposed to be. So then she can't get one. They're supposed to be on standby. The food is good most of the time. I've ate with Mom there on occasion. My mom enjoys bingo and the Bible study. She hasn't participated in much of the other activities. It's been a little hard for her to make friends there. She was blessed to get a large studio apartment and it held a lot of her things that mean a lot to her. So we are thankful for that.

Staff have been friendly and helpful, efforts are made to assign same staff to residents on a recurring basis, my Dad is in memory care there, he did not think he needed memory care (or any assistance really) and the layout and appearance do not feel like a locked space; the entire top floor is memory care and codes are entered on the elevator versus having to walk through double metal doors which most of the places I toured have and which would have been off-putting to him; the apartments look like apartments versus rooms and many have really nice views; although it is close to the road his apartment seems very quiet; it is somewhat expensive but far less than what we were paying for an individual caregiver and it is reassuring to know that he is in a safe space where he can engage in socialization

The staff always answers the phone happy and polite. People have always been helpful to me when I’m helping my mother who is a resident. I also like that there are activities going on frequently. The staff is helpful with all paperwork needs too.

Mom was just getting older and not able or wanting to do the day to day tasks of living at home and also having consistent health issues. We decided to move her into Springvale Assisted Living and she is loving it! After taking care of her home and family for over 65 years she is enjoying her needs being taken care of. She participates in the many weekly and daily activities offered, has made friends and continues to have family and friends visit her and she doesn’t have to worry about anything. Recently dad has had his own issues of continuing to live alone and not being able to keep up with the home chores and has moved in with her at Springvale. They have a nice sized apartment together with a patio that they can go out and walk in an enclosed courtyard. Our family is very pleased with this facility and all the staff! It’s been a great decision and it’s nice to know they are safe and being taken care of! Thank you Springvale!

What we like the most about Independence Village is the cleanliness, the friendly staff and our loved ones safety.

My Mom has been at StoryPoint Birmingham for 1 year and has lived in both the Assisted and the Memory Care neighborhoods. Both have been wonderful. The staff are kind and attentive to my mother's needs. They are well trained to deal with Alzheimer's situations and behaviors without upsetting or embarrassing the resident. Even the Kitchen staff and Maintenance crew are warm and well trained for dealing with residents special needs. They feel like family and have helped me and my family navigate this unusual journey. The facilities are bright and clean, food is great and the activities meet the capabilities of the individuals. We especially like the live music and special parties. I highly recommend StoryPoint Birmingham.
