Nice place, good area, good walkability, great for food, pretty small studio but do-able

Perfect fit in Memory Care for my father. I started looking over a year ago and toured many other communities in the Gig Harbor and Tacoma areas multiple times. I kept coming back to The Lodge for Memory Care. The pros are many: nice rooms and public “lodge-like” spaces, patios, good food, regular activities, and easy access for family. While the pricing between communities was similar, the care team and staff at The Lodge made the final decision easy. Everyone has been extremely helpful in making a potentially difficult transition seamless for my father. Dad is enjoying his new home and routine. Whatever level of care you are seeking for yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend considering The Lodge at Mallard’s Landing.

This may be a great setting for either or both of my parents. I like that there is not clear delineation between independent & assisted living. It protects residents' privacy and allows couples to stay together in the same apartment. Even if one needs to eventually move to memory care, they can still spend much of their waking hours with their spouse residing on an upper floor. I particularly liked the restaurant-style dining room. When entering the building - seeing lobby and then dining area - it struck me as very much like a cruise ship. As my Dad loves cruises, this is definitely an appealing factor. I very much appreciated the Director of Sales & Marketing's extensive background experience on the memory care side of things. Was a great tour and may be a good place for my parents. Not ready to make decisions of this kind but now actively engaged in discussing with my parents. My parents would be moving from a large home so transition to apartment would be a dramatic change. My Mother is a super active person and an avid volunteer. Not sure it's right for her at this stage but in terms of finding a place well suited to meet both of my parents' needs, this is likely the closest fit.

This is a beautiful place with excellent food and facilities. Our tour person was very helpful, rooms that we were shown were very nicely done. Nice place. Good location

Birchview is great! My father-in law lives here. Everyone is so helpful and answers all my questions about him. he really likes it here. plenty of activities to keep every one busy and opportunity to meet other people and make friends if they wish. I would highly recommend this facility!

I helped my elderly neighbor move from her home to assisted living. I have been really impressed by Queen Anne Manor. The facility is really beautiful, clean, and well maintained. What is really important to me, though, is the level of care. The staff here is amazing. The director is extremely involved in the well-being of every single resident. Everyone here truly cares about the residents and it shows in how they treat them and how involved they are in their wellbeing. I know that my neighbor is in great hands here. They also have several activities each day so it's a fun place to visit.

My friend and I are in our seventies and starting to look at facilities in our area. [Name removed] showed us around and was so helpful and cheerful, in fact we were impressed with the whole feel of The Lodge. Staff always had a smile and seemed to know everyone by name. If we were ready to move today we would love to share a two bedroom cottage. The lodge is very fortunate to have someone like [name removed] representing them.

A Great Place. They are very friendly and truly care about their residents. The prices are reasonable and the quality of care is excellent. Much better than the previous place we had my parents.

I had a great tour at Harbour Pointe as a preview for my mother. The staff was very informative and pleasant. the dining room is spectacular and the meal options look top notch. The suites are spacious and bright. For my situation, this location is a bit farther than I'd like from my home in Bothell.

The reason why we chose this location is because they had independent living. My parents have their own little apartment but are frequently checked on by their excellent staff to make sure that they are ok. Their staff team calls me almost every day just to let me know how things are going: if they need medication or things like that. They are very spot on. They get them promptly for their meals and escort them to the dining area. They love the food and I join almost every other day to eat there as well. They have several options for meals and it is excellent. They sure do have plenty of activities provided as well like musicians that comes in to play piano and they go on outings. They drive around to see the Christmas lights, they take them grocery shopping, and to Costco. They just have a variety of things. I definitely recommend this location to others because the staff is so personable. They all know my relative’s name, they provide a necklace for them to push just in case something happens and someone is there within a minute, and they just take really good care of everyone. It is really nice to have them in a happy free place but, at the same time, being watched over by the staff team.

This place is stunningly beautiful in a lovely residential neighborhood. It is small and intimate.

The Queen Anne Manor was really a wonderful program and offered a very strong program for Alzheimers patients. Really very structured and carefully organized memory care programs. Very attractive center.

We toured this community and we liked the staff that was helpful to answer the questions. The community is clean and maintained. We liked the list of activities that would have been offered for her to be active. We needed something closer. We would recommend this community for the care for a loved one.

This would have been our first choice, unfortunately, there was a waiting and it was in a different city. I thought the staff were very friendly and did an excellent job with giving us a tour of their community.

They did a good job providing a tour. It was not a bad experience. Nothing was wrong with the place but I wanted a smaller home and it seemed more larger than I wanted. They were professional, on time, and courteous.

This is a nice community for my parents, who live together on the memory care floor. The staff is nice and caring. The community is clean and they are happy with the atmosphere. There is no dietitian on staff and the menu is just ok. They have activities 2x per week on the memory floor. It would be great if there was something every day of the week to get them out of their room and more active. On the week-ends there is less staff, so if one resident has an issue - other residents will wait. We recommend this community to other families for the good care and the value. An extremely helpful benefit to this community is a support group they have for the loved ones of the memory care floor. It's an important part of my parent's care.

This is a very nice community for my mom. She is happy with the staff and the cleanliness of the commnity. She does participate in the activities. We would recommend this to other families.

My parents are very well taken care of at this wonderful community. the staff is outstanding and are always concerned about there care. All of the meals that are offered and are excellent. I would highly recommend this community for others for outstanding care.

My cousin has adjusted very to this community. We are very pleased with everything they have done for us. I'am very impressed with how clean everything is. They do a very good job with maintaining the community. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. Everything is going very well. I'am confident about the care she is receiving. It has been a good experience and I would recommend it.
