The staff are truly amazing! The room sizes are very nice and comfortable with a large window where we were able to set up a chair and table. The activities are geared to the residents to keep them active...

My Dad was in Assisted living at , Watermark . The staff is nice , but it is understaffed and could not attend him right away. He slipped off the toilet and not allowed to use his walker after that. Confined to a wheelchair and his mobility and health declined. Caught viruses from others. In hospital and then to skilled nursing area several times . Finally brought him home with hired aids. He thrived, at last.

My parents moved into the independent living section of the Watermark. The apartment was spacious and they assisted in the move. Housekeeping is provided weekly but reminders had to provided for the yearly maintenance (such as carpet cleaning). The monthly billing was an issue-they would provide a general invoice but not an itemized list of expanses. This became a more significant issue when my parents required more services. Many errors were noted and always in the Watermark's favor. My mother and father required stays in the Springs for rehabilitation (at the Watermark). The care for the father was adequate but in adequate for my mother. The staff recommended more aide coverage than other providers recommended. It appeared the Watermark staff was trying to increase use for their financial benefit. The outside providers were correct in their recommendations. I had to move my parent out of the Watermark when he needed assistive living because the nurses at the Watermark made medication errors resulting in the hospitalization (nurses never changed the medications ordered by the doctor over the course of many months even though these orders were emailed and delivered in hard copy). Expired medications were left on the dining table unattended and available to my parent with dementia also threatening their safety. I can recommend the independent level at the Watermark but not the nurse supervision and services and not the assistive living.

My father is in assisted living and the people are nice to him but unfortunately the care is substandard. Watermark is for profit organization. The have a contract with Omni care (owned by CVS), and although he as Medicare part D, we are being charged exorbitant amounts for medicine outside reimbursement guidelines. The same medication is available at at CVS directly for a fraction of the price, but I understand Omnicare and Watermark must have some revenue sharing arrangement. Also, my father gets no attention. They won't let him go to the library or gym, nor will they escort him there. They put on a prison ankle bracelet, and he feel like he is a prisoner. On the plus side, some of the people are nice to him and he likes the food.

Facilities management is not good. Carpets removed and black vinyl flooring put in its place. Very unattractive. As a matter of fact it is ugly and depressing to look at and live with. And does not seem to be green material since the odor last for weeks. Walls painted in hallways and pictures placed on floor for over a month. Painters left about a month ago. The painters tape is still on the walls. All the residents notice it. Staff walk by daily. Blue painters tape remains. Depressing for residents since it clearly tells us no one cares. I have removed quite a bit of it myself but have stopped. The rent is high. I should not have to do it. Blue painters tape on the walls. All over the place and no one notices? Food is terrible. dried curling piece of fish with canned green beans that are over cooked. Sad place to live. Unreliable work. They start a job and never finish. Maybe the painters tape will be removed if someone reads this. But it should not have to be this way.

we have talked to the management. nothing changes. very pretty pictures of the food. no comparison to reality. tasteless meals. lip service is the only service here. remember the sales pitch is simply that. a sales pitch. they will describe things that are incorrect and/or do not happen. management is not interested in honest feedback. despite how they respond to these reviews. we have talked. they were clearly uninterested. very insincere and deflected every single suggestion and critique. they do not accept input despite the pretense . hesitate to believe the sale team when they give you the pitch. do not believe the responses of management to these reviews

We are moving my father out of this community due to lack of care. There is room for improvement with the care they provide their dementia residents. The staff they have is trained to provide basic care need for someone. They are not knowledgeable in providing care for someone with dementia. They have nice facility, and they do provide great meals. However they need to improve the care they provide their dementia residents with. They talked a good game in the beginning, but I'am not satisfied with this community.

My loved one is very bored and though won't admit it i can tell very unhappy with this move. There is an inconsistent response to a call for help with apartment issues. Someone may show up in 10 minutes, or not at all. The food is mediocre. The pictures in the brochure do not coincide with reality. We were told several things that turned out not to be true. When you bring it to there attention they deny they ever said it. The activities are boring and really not geared to someone who can still think. I feel very badly that we chose this living situation. Moving out would cost about $70,000 since they keep 20% of the 'buy in" fee. My loved one walks up and down hallways floor to floor looking for someone to talk to and always returns back home deflated because not one is around. This s not what was expected

My parent is bored to death since moving there. The activities are boring, nothing really stimulating. There really is not a social atmosphere here, despite what they tell you. Pictures in the brochure are very misleading. The food is not good and there does not seem to be any indication that it will get better. There were a lot of things described to us when we toured that turned out not to be true. For the amount one has to pay to live here i would say keep looking elsewhere.

The Watermark is beautiful, and the food is great. But the assisted living was not a good fit for our Mom. We ended up moving her to another nearby location, which has been fabulous.

Our mom lived here in assisted living for one month before we had to move her out. Facility is beautiful, but don't be fooled. Care was substandard: several missed med administrations, forgetting to put her to bed, or bring her to meals on time. Often short staffed, frequent staff turn over. Things did not get better despite our vigilant oversight and trying to get them to get it right. We reluctantly had to move her into another facility which ended up being fabulous. Best decision we made was to get her out of 3030 Park.

Seems that all your reviews are old reviews. I visited this facility in October 2015 to preview for my mom and can tell you it no longer fits your previous reviews. A friend said her aaunt hd gone here in 2011 and it was very nice but she passed away 2 years ago so times have changed!! The facility is very dirty, from the entrance to the elevator, and to an apartment, there are walls with patched or half plastered paint or holes in them and dirty carpeting with stains. There were actually dirty tissues in the hallway on the floor. AND A MOUSETRAP in the hallway!! One can only imagine, sadly, the way the people living there are treated like if this is the physical condition of the facility. I did do a tour with a sales person who told me this was all going to be fixed...BUT I came back by myself, alone, and spoke with 4 seniors who live there and all told me the same thing..the place is a disaster and falling apart and no one listens to their requests to fix things. So sad for these people.
