We toured this community for my dad. The staff was helpful and they answered all of my questions. It is a brand new facility 2017. Really nice and clean. It was a little too far from me and I want to be closer to him. The memory care here was the best. I would recommend families to tour here.

This is a nice community. I am needing to have my mom in a differnt type of care from a new community. This was not what I was needing at the time. The community needs alot of improvements on the meals. They used alot of paper plated and that was not a good impression. I do like the staff and the community is clean and maintained. I would recommend other families to this community if it is what they need for the care of a loved one.

My mother is doing well since her move to the Brookdale Salinas. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They offer a variety of activities, my mother has not joined them but we encourage her to do so. The only thing I wish they could improve on is communication during meal time. My mother and other residents do not always know when meal time is. Other than that, we are very happy with this community.

Everyone has been helpful, friendly and go out of their way to support both resident and family. During breakfast I like that the residents are able to choose what they want for lunch and dinner. Three items to choose from with a dessert selection. He enjoys the daily exercise and everyone is busy every day. Someone weekly comes to sing, they had a Halloween party, and had an opera singer last week. On the weekend, especially on Sunday, he gets bored with movies. He likes being on a schedule. For guests they have a full kitchen with no charge. We recently had a family get together. They were very accommodating and we ordered off the menu. Everyone had positive feedback and were impressed.

Everything is going very well for my mother at this community. I do not live in the same state, so it is nice knowing she is happy. The community is very well-kept and everything looks nice and clean. She is trying some new activities and meeting new people. The food is nice, she lots of choice to choose from. She is happy so I would recommend it.

Everything has gone very well with Pacific Pointe, I would give them top marks across the board! The facility itself is nice looking, well kept, and clean. The staff have all been very friendly, and they seem to take great care of the people who live here!

A Place for Mom recommended Pacific Pointe among other places. We toured early in our search and were impressed by the friendliness of the people and the facility. When my daughter's mother arrived in town we went back because they had a shared room opening at a reasonable price and looked again. Of the many places we toured this was the best overall and the best value. She has been there almost two months and gets along well with her roommate and enjoys being there.

At Pacific Pointe, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall I'm very satisfied with the cleanliness of the facility, staff, care provided,and overall services. My aunt is pleased with they services she's receiving as well.

This place had large rooms and a homey atmosphere. It is in Chula Vista. but no memory care.

We were really happy with them. It's more of and independent living. My loved one liked the environment, and they loved him there. The staff was great. He just needed more care. We were able to have helping hands come in, but after a while we just needed more care. It was a great place while we were there though.

$1465 for studio. Meds and shower assist for $8/hr

I loved this place, and those with whom I spoke. The memory care unit felt great, but the expense, as it must be paid with private funds, would probably be more then we all can afford. Still thinking about it.

I was given a thorough tour of Pacific Pointe by Nanette last week and was able to view the small and medium studios and the one bedroom. Unfortunately, the large studios were all rented but she said she'd contact me when one became available. I did not feel rushed to complete the tour and could ask questions freely. I was impressed by the services available at Pacific Pointe that are included in the modest rent. One of the other facilities in Chula Vista did not include all meals and the rent was significantly higher. It was also much bigger (300+ seniors) and more spread out, not having the "homey" feel that P.P. has. It's going to be quite a challenge to move my mom from S.F. after 50 years in her apt. but she is actually looking forward to it. She's 91 and lives alone and all of her friends have died. There is no one left in S.F. and I'm worried about her lack of socialization, not to mention only getting to see her once a year. I think Pacific Pointe will be the right fit. P.S. Being nosey, I asked a lady sitting in the lobby when I arrived what she thought of living there. She said that she lived here, moved over to the other larger senior residence (that I had also toured) and moved BACK to Pacific Pointe because she liked it better. That made me feel confident that we're making the right choice. P.P. will even credit money towards your move and is sending my mom a pamphlet to examine.

They are wonderful! Wonderful! Absolutely the best! They are very caring. I like that it's a small place and they are going way beyond their duty. They are just absolutely wonderful. I would recommend Harden Ranch in a heart beat.

I visited Pacific Pointe on Monday and was very impressed with it.

My parents are doing okay living at this community. My dad takes my mom downstairs to listen to the musical event. They enjoy their meals it is tasteful and properly made. They get weekly room cleaning and they wash their laundry too. I would recommend this community in the future.

I really like Pacific Pointe. The facility is clean. The staff are friendly. I have no complaints at this point. So far I am satisfied with the experience at this facility.

I have great things to say about this facility. I think it's a great community, a lot more affordable and inexpensive place especially since my loved one would also get their own room. They take good care of the patients there however when we were in the early stages setting mom up here management shifted and the beginning process was flowing nicely until then. I wish there were certain benefits, which I earlier received from original staff. I think that maybe the change in administration and staff members may be the reason I never got the things she was promised, however this was still a negative on their behalf. Most recently the residents were exposed to a flu epidemic, however I was reassured that my loved one would be okay, and well taken care of.

The people at Pacific Pointe are wonderful. The initial sign-up process was very efficient and professional, and they were very friendly throughout the whole process. There hasn't been the follow-through that we expected with some of the care services. Also, she was supposed to be assigned an ambassador (one of the residents that knows the way around to help her get acclimated) and that never happened. This has made it a little harder for her to get oriented and adjusted into the place. Mom has also complained a little about the food, and I do think there should be better quality control in the kitchen. Other than that it has been a very positive experience.
