Also a very nice facility. Was impressed with the rooms and decor, and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Didn't see a whole lot going on with the residents and staff, but that could have been affected by the timing of my visit. The only drawback I saw concerned pricing which I thought was somewhat high. Still, this facility is located in Bergan County, so that may explain things a bit. That was the only factor that prevented me from giving Brookdale a 5-star rating.

The community is full of workers expressing care and concern. My loved one is safe and receives good care.

We did tour here. It is beautiful and they seem to do a great job of customized care. The only issue I see is the possible fluctuation of cost for personal care. Lovely facility but on the higher end of costs for the area.

I am very pleased with Devon Senior Living and their memory care unit. They take excellent care of my mother. I agree that sometimes it does smell especially on the weekends. And also there are many stages of dementia and when I first toured locked down dementia units I found them very depressing with people just sitting around doing very little. This was because at the time my mother wasn't ready for those units. Sadly my mother's condition has progressed their memory center is appropriate for her at this time. She did well in the main area for a long time.

Brookdale is a very lively place. The seniors were very engaged. They totally sell the place. All of our questions were answered. It will probably be a very good fit for mom.

I was familiar with this facility since I had a relative who was there when it was Emeritus. After speaking with the advisor we established that the funds I would have available would not be sufficient to maintain at least 2 years of residency. She was very truthful and I appreciated her honesty.

My mother is in the memory care unit at Brookdale Paramus. All of the staff, including the facility director, knows my mother's name and family members. No assisted living place is perfect, but the staff here understands my mother's needs and make her as comfortable as possible. The food is quite good and they have several family activities throughout the year. The current activity director in the memory care unit is doing a great job.

I am very satisfied with Juniper Village and your service has been really helpful.

Would recommend to anyone looking for memory care. Exceptional staff.

room sizes are adequate, I was surprised to find a small refrigerator/freezer and microwave in a closet. activities are numerous with craft and painting. Outdoor space is nice.

This was a tour only not a move in . This Villiage doesn’t have the needs mother’s requires. Very clean, beautiful Village . Has Memory Care Unit, not secured Alarm . (Safety). Permitted to commingle (wonderful) Mother requires more ADL then this Villiage can offer. Majority Memory Section all was in Wheel Chairs strapped down .( don’t know there condition ) [Removed] Manger/ Director very pleasant. I toured Juniper Village for my aunt, and I found the community to be very unique. The staff itself is very impressive, and you really get a great feel from the community. There’s a town center in the middle of the community with an ice cream parlor and a beauty salon with four little “neighborhood” quadrants where the resident rooms and caretakers are. The rooms and the quadrants are themed, and I really liked how the residents could maintain their privacy, then come together in the center of the facility for dining and activities. There is also an in house dentist and doctor area. It definitely is a unique community, but we opted for a place that we felt would be a better personal fit for my aunt.

The staff at Juniper Village is very attentive to my Mother. My Mother says the staff is nice and polite to her and she feels comfortable with the girls who come and check on her and sees that she stays active, which I appreciate.

The staff was very caring with my mom while she was there. Having dementia is difficult for the family and Juniper was very open and caring as we worked our way through her passing. I would definitely recommend Juniper Village.

We toured this community and we liked the staff. We found this community to be nice, we did not like that it was so glamorous. The menu and the list of activities were very nice. We would recommend that of their families tour this community for the care of a loved one

This community seemed to be active when we visited. This community is two levels and it felt a little to large for my loved one. The people we met during the tour were friendly and it seemed like a nice community.

We liked this community when we visited. It looked clean and well maintained. The person that took us on tour was nice. They do allow pets and they seem to offer some nice activities. This community was just not what we were looking for.

The staff are nice and receptive at Brookdale. Dad seems to like the food and enjoys some of the activities. He has started making friends. The community is well taken care of. There is not always a quick response from the billing department when we have questions. I would recommend this community.

Many good recreational opportunities. Good care and helpful assistance. Food is good, but too much and too often. On the whole, satisfactory. Staff is very friendly and considerate
