Integro Asset Management

When my 97 yr. old mom was living at home all she wanted to do was sleep. She has mild to moderate dementia. We had some hired caregivers but that was costly and could not always send the same people. We didn't like strangers coming into her home and it was costly. Since she has been at Brighten Gardens she is a different person. She smiles more and after a period of adjustment she has stopped saying she "wants to go home". The first month she was there she took part in 84 activities. She even plays cards with a group of ladies in the evening. The food is restaurant style with many choices each meal. The help that we received from A Place for Mom was instrumental in helping us make this decision.

I love the caregivers at this community they take such good care of mom. This is a smaller community with a nice sitting area and everything is close by. The doors lock when you enter the memory care unit. The community is clean and they have a nice outside sitting area. I would recommend this community.

This was a good move for my sister to this community. They are taking very good care of her and her needs. She is very happy, and has adjusted very well to this community. It is a well-kept community, they do a good job with the cleanliness of the place. The staff is good, she is in good hands with them. There are nice activities available for the residents. Her only draw back has been the food, but overall she says the are meals are decent. I know she is safe, and being cared for very well. This is a community I would recommend.

I really enjoyed my tour of this property. All of the staff where very welcoming and liked how organized they where during our tour. The community was very well maintained and kept nice with lots of great amenities available to there residents. I just felt it was too large of a community and my husband would feel overwhelmed if he had went there.

Very friendly. Clean, no smell, close 2 miles from my home, Good size 105 residents, Room options, Lots of activities, I would have liked a more detailed welcome for my mom. but it was ok. Wanted to meet the caregiver on Welcome. Had a great Director meeting.

The staff is out of this world. They kept me informed about everything that my loved one needed. My loved one likes to participate in the activities that they offer. They also give snacks throughout the day. The community is well lite and very beautiful. I would recommend this community to others.

After one month in the Memory Care Unit, we are finding support very kind and supportive.

Everyone has been very nice and helpful

The staff is very friendly and work wonderfully with the residents. The building is very clean and the residents are kept busy with time to be by them selfs if desired.

Dad has been there one week and the services has been outstanding. I hesitated, because of the lower price for the level of care, but the location was perfect. I am so glad I selected Brighton Gardens. You cannot find friendlier, helpful people. The staff interacts with the residents constantly. It is very clean and does not have an oder. The food is excellent and and the serving staff are very friendly and try to accomodate each person to their specific needs. They have a family physician, podiatrist and PT services on site. The only thing they do not have is a dentist - but they do transport a resident to any destination. They have daily activities which are scaled to the residents capability. I highly recommend Brighton Gardens no matter what the level of care your love one may need.

The staff at Brighton Gardens of Westlake are fantastic. I'm very comfortable trusting my moms care to them. Her room is nice. We saw it during the day, and with the windows it was nice, light and airy. I couldn't understand what my mom meant when she said it was dark in the room at night. I came to see her when it was dark and it was only then that I realized that the only overhead lighting was in the kitchenette area. And, yes, it was dark. Had we not brought a couple of lamps form home it would have been totally dark. We're bringing another lamp over so she has more light. That's the only complaint that I have about the room. The cost per month is expensive and they have no Medicaid waiver. That means when her money runs out, she's out. I can't allow that to happen, so as much as I like this place I am looking for another one. I needed to find a place fast as her illness came on suddenly. I underestimated how quickly her money would be used up with the additional fees and now I'm under even more pressure to get her condo sold ASAP just to keep her there past 6 months. It's too bad that our seniors lives are only as good as the balance of their bank accounts.

They do a great job at this facility. They're very caring, and get to know each resident very well on a personal level. They really make an effort to help residents acclimate to their new environment, which is very important and helpful for alzheimer's patients.

I am absolutely happy with them because my aunt now has to be fed, I go there on Sundays so I dont know how they do it during the week and that probably could be a little bit better but at least they're eating. There's a lady who sits at my aunts table and when they feed her theres food all over her mouth and they could do a better job of keeping her clean. There was another lady, when he fed her, she ate everything except some food fell on the table and when they took the plate away they didnt clean the food away and she starting pawing at it, it got all over her. All you have to do is wipe the food away, how hard is that? They are very caring people and do well but some things could be better. Its very difficult to deal with people who pretty much cant help themselves at all, theyre doing a real good job and they will take care of her as long as she can stay. They always call me if for some reason she falls, they call me right away and let me know. They have a beautiful dining room, its like being on a cruise ship without the water! Its really really nice, well laid out and I'm really happy with them there!

Fairmont is a very welcoming, family oriented community. The staff and residents are all friendly and supportive of each other. My mom enjoyed the food. My only concern was I felt more frequent check-ins during the night shift were needed in my Mom's case.

Daily staff, especially the nursing techs, are very pleasant and helpful. They show genuine care for our loved one. Only difficulty is getting a smooth establishment with paperwork/billing/etc correct.

The intake was fast and easy. [name removed] the director was very nice and compassionate. They had my dad moved within a few days. The facility is clean and up to date. The staff is very nice. The therapist and other doctors keep you updated on their care.

Staff overall kind and friendly, activities personal extremely personable, downside people with higher end medical needs might be better served elsewhere. They did make a effort to meet his medical needs, but they just don't seem to be able to deal with catheter issues well, he had to be transported to the hospital 4 times in the short time he was there.

The facility was without a van for transport when my Mom moved in so there were no offsite activities for several months. They do have a vehicle now so I'm guessing external activities will increase.

They really do care about the residents and try to be at their best everyday. As with all assisted livings, finding good qualified staff is very difficult these days. We were fortunate to have hospice as an additional level of care for my father during his time at Fairmont. My father passed away at Fairmont in [date removed]. He was there 4 months as he battled endstage Parkinson's and dementia

Overall, Fairmont of Farmington Hills is a beautiful facility , very well staffed and very clean and friendly. I wish it was less expensive, but I would recommend them to others.
