We moved our 90 year old mom into HarborChase of Naperville in July. The transition from living in her own home to living in an assisted living facility was difficult for her at first but the people there were very patient with her. The care partners tried to include her in lots of activities without being too pushy with her. Her apartment is very nice and the caregivers seem to be very helpful and nice. The facility is relatively new with beautiful common areas and very nice surrounding grounds. The dining room is beautiful and the menu has a wide range of choices. The food is very good with large portions. Overall we are very pleased with our decision of HarborChase.

My dad is moving in on [date removed]. This place is outstanding. The staff is super nice. It feels like home With an inviting and warm environment.

I was so impressed with Harbor Chase. We visited a couple assisted care homes. My sister was very skeptical. However, [name removed] was so kind, caring great personality. She made my sister, [name removed], feel so comfortable, In fact it was because of [name removed] that she chose Harbor Chase. Even though it was more expensive and [name removed] was very money conscious. [Name removed] gave us her full attention and answered all our questions. She gave information I didn’t think of. The most thorough of any place. The whole staff is excellent. Friendly, knowing everyone’s name, helpful. Nurses and aids took such good care of my sister, even when she was very difficult. [Name removed] was reclused and paranoid for years. She was very happy and surprisingly talking and doing things with others. The only sad thing is she didn’t get to enjoy Harbor Chase very long. I could go on and on.......For so many reasons I have recommended Harbor Chase and looking forward to volunteering soon. Thank you, [name removed]

As a resident of the Hearth Tuxis Pond, I would like to focus on the what is critical for me. Most important is their respect for me as an individual. The staff are supportive, and caring and willing to assist in any way.

The man gave me a tour here and I just knew it was a perfect fit for my mom. He showed me all around its brand new and beautiful. Clean as a whistle. Mom is 93 and has become a whole new person here. She is meeting friends she gets up and around and don't just stay in her room. They have lots of daily activities she can enjoy. The food is good and mom can be fussy at times about her food. She is in the memory unit and it is a locked unit but they can go out into the lovely area outside to sit in the sun with a staff member. I would 100% recommend this beautiful place The decor is gorgeous and flowers are out.

I am happy with this community and the staff are very nice. The food is good and they offer a lot of nice activities. This is a brand new community and the rooms are beautiful. There is a nice patio area and the community is nicely furnished. I would highly recommend this community.

Everything is working out very well with my mothers move to this community. She is doing great, and I know she is in good hands. They have a very good staff. They are attentive towards my mother, and her needs. They are always there when we need them. They provide nice meals for the residents. She has gotten involved in some of the activities they offer, which is good for her. The community is nice, and clean when I visit. This community is working out well for my family, and I would recommend it.

We're completely satisfied with all the services provided by Harbor Chase. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is clean and well kept and the food is great. We particularly like the Director, Veronica, who is very involved and easily accessible.

This community is very nice. The staff is outstanding and very helpful with mom. The activities are available for her. The food is very good. I would recommend this for others.

My mom has been there for 5 weeks now and is adjusting well in the memory care area- the staff have been caring and concerned and very willing to listen and act on my initial concerns before she moved in and in meeting with me to learn more about the types of things she enjoyed in the past and how to serve her better and provided me with good observations and feedback. I feel fortunate to have found this facility and it happens to be within a few minutes of my job- unexpected bonus! As a nurse practitioner, I was probably more critical in evaluating options than others may be able to be and I've been pleased- so far, really , really happy with this facility, their administrative and caregiver staff, and philosophy

I work as a volunteer in the gift shop. It is a pleasure to come in every day, the staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is also very upbeat, clean, and respectful. I am happy to come to help Harbor Chase daily.

They are doing a good job. We don't have any complaints so far. The rooms aren't that big, and there isn't a dedicated area that's big enough for physical therapy. So far that's the only thing that would really make it better. The people are friendly, and it's pretty clean, I haven't gotten any complaints about the food.

They have addressed every issue we have brought up to them, they have it addressed quickly, wonderfully, they have been accomodating. We are very impressed with the place, we really are. My reservations are just that the guy who normally does the activities has been there because he does something else but I would like for them to be a little more engaging. It's a really big place, it's clean, the people are all so very nice. I would recommend it highly to anybody in the same situation. I wish the price was less, but we've been really happy with them, they even contacted me to let me know they were worried about my mom who isn't even a resident there but visits 3 to 4 times a week. They answer my emails right away, the only thing is that it's so large and the two wings look exactly the same so my dad has a hard time finding his door. My sister and I were laughing saying we should put a bow on it so he can find it or they should paint one of the wings so they look different. But it's a very nice place, they have msuic and my dad gets up and dances and the foods good.

Mom is generally well cared for and the facility is clean. They could definitely use more care staff though. She often has trouble getting the things and help she needs without my intervention, seems to be a staffing issue.

Everything is great, except the bills are confusing. The food is excellent, the staff is caring and attentive. Great Italian chef, nice rooms with good views. Community feel, wonderful activities.

They have very friendly staff - they are attentive, caring and personal. I would absolutely recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Overall nice place. Food has been an issue with residents. Staff is wonderful!! Parents are happy there. I would recommend HarborChase to others.

I ended up having to hire an outside service as my friend's needs were greater than expected. The staff bickered so much with my sitter service and caused me more stress that I moved her to another facility. If you don't need much "assisted" living, the facility is really good.

Food is good. Mom really liked that she could order different food from the always available menu if she didn't like the what was being served. Activities were ok. Some were just watching the TV-like exercise. More variety would be good. Staff were good when she was able to take care of herself.

The activities are all wonderful. They have music with actual musicians once or twice a week. They have sing alongs, bingo, other board games, dominoes, pool, along with outings to many different places. At least once a week there are outings to either target or Walmart and other grocery stores. They have movies every night at 5:30. There is a painting project or class once a week. They have all kinds of Physical fitness activities, which include Tai Chi and chair aerobics along with yoga and every morning there is a group that walks around the building. The friendliness of the workers is absolutely amazing. There could not be a better CNA or Nursing staff. They are beyond kind and attentive. The dining staff is very friendly and aims to please. The food is 50/50. Sometimes it's very good and other times not very good at all. Ice cream is served in lieu of an actual dessert after most dinners and always after lunch. As far as cleanliness goes, the apartments are cleaned once a week. They clean the overall large areas but do not clean smaller areas such as dusting. The beds are not necessarily made every day. However the overall feeling and look of the place is very positive and clean looking and always smells wonderful. Overall there are many positive things to say about Harbor Chase. I am very happy with the decision of choosing them. Everybody that lives there seems very happy and well cared for.
