The care taker staff was very caring and hands on. They talked to the residents respectfully and seemed to really care. I would give them a 4 out of 5. The only thing I wished they had done more of was give her exercise walking with her walker. She got weaker and weaker by having to stay in the wheelchair while she could walk and had feelings in her bottom, legs, and back. She would get up because she just couldn't sit there anymore and then fall. Resulting in stitches in her fore head and back of her head. The activity staff was very nice but didn't always have a class when scheduled. But she was very kind and engaging with the residents. 4out of 5 there too. I tasted the occasionally and it was good. The staff in the dining was very nice. Talking to all of the residents like friends. Very pleasant. This was the 3rd facility my mother was in and it was probably overall the best one for resident care and pleasant and kind staff. And much more reasonable than the other too but just as nice a facility as they were. [name removed] the sales manager was very warm and caring. We talked like old friends. She always had a smile and listened to what we needed. She was exceptional. I actually miss her myself.

I have found a few exceptional staff members who have shown extraordinary dedication and concern for their patients wellbeing. [name removed] reality is humans work there and every interaction is not perfect but I feel like my person is safe and well cared for.

The Mifflin Court folks were very nice and helpful. The facility is a little older but it is well maintained. I believe my brother, in Memory Care, is in a place where he is being well cared for. We are very happy with Mifflin Court.

Attentive staff and Fair pricing

It's a great place for community...lots of opportunities to socialize and participate in activities. The staff are great--from nurses to aides to the dining room staff. The only challenge has been in communicating with onsite doctors...they can be very hard to make contact with.

It being an independent living there are no activities. However, my dad seems to be very happy there and as long as he is satisfied we are happy with it. We keep a constant check on him and he seems to be doing very well there. The staff is very friendly. They are helpful with anything we ask . The only issues we sometimes find is his room doesn't always get cleaned. The facility is dated and could use some thing's fixed. But for the money we pay it's not terrible. We stay because it's in and area that is familiar to him and close to his church. It's Alston in his price range because some of these facilities are really too much money

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness, and yes we would recommend them to other families based on our experience so far.

To compare it to [community name removed], everything is better! The smell is never an issue, the care seems great & the other (8) residents are a pleasure for my mom to b around!

Excellent variety of food options for residents. Staff have a great knowledge of how to manage individuals with dementia.

The care of patients was fantastic. [name removed] passed away 10 days ago, and we can't say enough about their concern for her comfort and our peace during her final days. The nurses are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable. They are Langdon Place's best asset. They recently went through an ownership transition and we hoped administration would be better but haven't seen that yet. Communication was the biggest issue - between administration, us and nurses and during shift changes. Seems there should be an app that could easily address this and make communication better without needing to disturb the hardworking nurses all the time. All in all, we were happy to have [name removed] at LP and always knew she was well cared for and safe.

My husband and I are happy with the care that our mother is receiving. The staff is very helpful, patient and caring with her. She does seem to be adjusting well. My husband and I are still adjusting to some of the procedures with medication guidelines and protocol. But we are starting to get the hang of it. The staff is extremely patient with explaining any confusion or questions that we may have. Place is always clean and cheerful for the residents that live there. I would recommend Berkshire Commons in Exeter for a family member .

All of the staff were so kind and friendly. It was very clean and the food is good. I knew the moment we toured the facility that this was where I wanted to send my mother-in-law. [name removed] and [name removed] helped with everything to make it an easy transition.

Overall, we are happy with Langdon Place, particularly with the nursing staff. They are warm, friendly, patient. The place is not well maintained and could be cleaner. We have noted safety issues like radiator ends sticking out, water collecting in pockets on the canopies in the garden which could be more colorful and groomed. The place is dated and needs some repairs but the staff makes up for all that. They could use better communication. We tell staff things but they don't seem to have a way to share that information amongst themselves - where extra pull-ups are stored, that we are picking her up for an appointment, that we do the laundry, etc. She is in memory care now and needs to be but isn't stimulated enough. She misses her computer and TV but can no longer use them independently.

My parents have been at Granite Ledges for 3 months. I appreciate the welcoming environment. Oftentimes, residents are outside, relaxing in chairs at the entrance, enjoying the sun and the company of one another. My parents are doing well under the care of Granite Ledges. There are some procedures that have been challenging, such as the medication protocols. It was easy with my mother but for my father, who's a veteran, it's still a challenge but it's getting better. The daily activities offered are great. My mom LOVES playing BINGO. That said, they miss their old TV system (which unfortunately is a BIG deal to them). The food is good but it would be nice if snacks were available between and/or after meals.The parking is difficult. There are often no spaces available. While it's a great facility, it's VERY expensive! I don't think the cost (approx. 11k/month) equates to what is offered. The cost makes it a temporary move for my parents, which saddens me.

Langdon Place was a great move for my dad, who is 94, but still lives independently. The apartment is great, the planned activities are wonderful, dining experience is very good. However, communication and planning for doctor's and nurses' visits, and getting results from bloodwork is really poor. My father has been told that a doctor and/or nurse will come on a Friday or a Monday, and no one shows up. This has happened several times. Also, his prescription refills are ordered and supposedly processed the same day, but it has taken more than a week to get his hands on the prescription. The explanation provided is that they "were put in the wrong place." He has had the same experience trying to get results from bloodwork. Aside from this very poor communication and liaison, it's a great place, and my father is happy there so far.

The biggest area for improvement is the food. I understand that the chefs cook a low sodium and low sugar diet, but there is hardly any variety. And the food is incredibly bland. We drop off home-cooked meals or do Uber eats to my grandfather. The staff is all super kind. They seem to know all of the residents by name and they always speak to my grandfather. Anytime they see him in passing. They manage his medication as well and keep us up-to-date. He has had some recent health issues over the last 12 months that have required him to go to the hospital and the nurses always make sure they give us a full report before they send him.

My loved one was previously a resident at Hilltop at Glenwood and the overall experience was good. The staff is friendly, but I do feel like there is a lack of communication between them. Overall, I would recommend Hilltop at Glenwood to others who are looking for a Memory Care facility.

This experience is more on our loved one, but it took him a bit to acclimate. The community is clean without being stifling and it is comfortable to live in. The staff members are great. We have had some medication communication hiccups. It is homely now ironed out. Our dad loves the variety of food they serve. Other than the occasional bingo and bridge, our loved one hasn't relayed much information Overall I believe it is pretty good.

My loved one is currently a resident at Granite Ledges of Concord and overall the experience has been great so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and care services provided are good. The meals, activities and value for cost are great. I would recommend this facility to others, I actually already have.

No real complaints truthfully. [name removed]very happy with her accommodations and choice to live there. I just spent the last month there helping her recover from a recent hospitalization and get moved in to her apartment and was pretty impressed with Hallmark overall. Nicely maintained, friendly community and lots of services available to her that make her life easier. Would happily recommend to new prospective tenants.
