Excellent facility! Very clean, bright and colorful. Laundry service is part of the monthly fee (minimal). No odors noted during the tour. Did not witness facility resident activities, however, reviewed calendar and activity list to include a tour of the indoor pool and exercise/gym area. During the tour staff attitude was very positive and friendly. Outdoor spaces, clean and neat, appears to be safe for residents. Nutrition opportunity available around the clock to include discounts for family members when dining in the facility restaurant. Level of care includes retirement living, assisted and memory care to include medication management. Contracts run month-to-month with 30 days notice for termination. Overall, this a very nice facility and it would be a pleasure to have my dad live there.

Our family is happy overall. My biggest complaint was the handoff day when we took our loved one in. It was a little disorganized and could have been handled differently. I was disappointed that the transition didn't go smoothly for our family and ultimately for our loved one. But the facility is very nice. Everyone has been friendly. I've seen some activities going on in the little amount of time I've been there personally. And overall, we're happy with Carmel Village.

They did a great job working with my family to get the best rates due to my loved ones limited income. They were very accommodating and helped us greatly with knowing what to do and what all needed to happen to get the best care for our loved one.

The CherryWood Village is an absolutely incredible and fantastic place to live. We could not be happier with our choice. We thought it was going to be a long process of deciding where to move until we toured this community and knew it was the one. They offer lots of activities that they have posted on weekly and monthly calendars. We've already participated in a recent luau party for the residents. We are still getting settled into our apartment which is exactly perfect for us. We were able to choose the color of paint for the walls and had new carpeting installed. there is a fireplace and the view from our window is beautiful. The residents are very friendly and welcoming. The marketing director suggested to my wife and me to sit at a table for four instead of for two and the next thing we know another couple will ask to join us and we get acquainted and make new friends. We would definitely recommend this community to others.

My parents are doing very well. They are integrating into the community. They are not to thrilled with the food but for the most part it is fine. They have certain times when they can eat. The community recently had an eclipse party and they had set up chairs outside and they seemed really happy. My parents are independent here but we wanted a place when assistance is option we won't have to move them again. My dad need to move the computer desk around and some guys helped him and he was pleased with that and he tried to give them a tip but they stuck to the rules and did not accept it. However he was told he can contribute to a pot that is dispense around Christmas for the helpers. All the staff are very helpful when it is needed. The toilets are low but it does have railings to help out but a taller toilet would be more suitable for the residents. Their room is right off the elevator and it is very convenient. I like that the community is near the hospital. However, the traffic can get a little noisy.

We had a very nice tour at Carmel Village at Clovis Senior Living. It is a beautiful and really nice community. Very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We did see the residents participating in activities, and they had some live musical entertainment going on while we were there. The only thing missing was they did not have Bridge for one of their activities. My Mom must play Bridge!

My mother's stay at Carmel Village is going great! The staff are sure to care for my mother very well. She also gets plenty opportunities to socialize with other residents during mealtimes and at set activity times, such as when the piano player comes. One concern I have, however, is that the staff do not come in to clean my mother's room or change her linens as often as I would like. If they could do this, then I would have no complaints about the facility!

I have stayed at this community with my parents for a few days and the food is better some days than others. The staff are helping them to participate in more activities. They are nice and try very hard. This clean and well taken care of community gets my recommendation. I would also recommend A Place for Mom as they were a great help.

This community is clean and well maintained. My mother did enjoy the staff, they are nice and take good care of her. The food could be better, my stepfather got sick twice and was sent to the hospital because of it. I noticed that there was not much activities offered. I am not happy with the price, I feel there could be more offered. My feelings are that this community is all about money and completely overpriced.

The whole experience of getting mom set up there at Somerset Lodge was done very well. The staff was incredibly accommodating. Once she was in, I do think they could have gone out of their way a little more to get her acclimated to the new environment, such as encouraging her to get involved in the activities, walking her through the process of things, etc.

Cherry Wood Village was not the place I'd expected my parents, chiefly my mom, to choose. She'd wanted a smaller, homey, family, friendly place so I selected places to visit that fit her requirements. But when none of those felt right to her I told her about Cherry Wood Village, and in spite of it not being small, she immediately fell in love with it. And if my mom was happy, so was my dad! Their adjustment has been good; the staff has been helpful, the care excellent, they've met some potential friends, and the food.....well, I believe that may be my parents' favorite part over everything else!!

I like them except for the food. It’s too salty and that is really not good for seniors to eat. I’d give everything else a four or a five, but the food is so important to being healthy. They have said they’d improve on that and I hope to see progress.

Dad will move-in to Paradise Village in 3 weeks. So far the experience has been beyond belief. Staff is exceptional in every way. The facility is truly a cut above any other we've seen. It's only 4 yrs old & developers truly went outside the box with their concept & implementation. It's very friendly, clean, inviting and just a wonderful place for anyone to live. While it is expensive, it's certainly affordable & more reasonable than many lower quality facilities with less amenities. Dad will really get a "bang for his bucks. We really like that there is just a reasonable one-time community fee, no long-term contracts & occupancy is month-to-month. Mobility scooters & pets are welcome. The food so far has been exceptional. It's a gated facility & is very secure. It will take some time for Dad (and me) to learn our way around as it can be confusing. Dad is very exciting about starting his new life here. May have more info after Dad has lived here a few months

It's been a very good experience with Carmel Village. The onboarding process was quite extensive but I'm glad that they were careful to get all the necessary information in advance. I see now how important this is. The staff is really nice and helpful. All needed adjustments were made quickly and the communication is very good with all staff including med tech workers. There are only a few caregivers who aren't as engaging but they still do their job. My mother absolutely loves the dining and my father is always happy to have his dessert after dinner. It's the little things that count at their age. The music every week is also something they look forward to. One thing I'd like to see improved is the housekeeping but it's fair

I do like the staff! They are very responsive and answer all questions with thoroughness and kindness. I think it's important when people aren't calling Wheatland to distinguish between assisted-living and Parkview memory care. The people at Wheatland when they toured and took Mom around the assisted living portion, which is quite different than the memory care portion. The food is better at Wheatland person per view. The facilities are better so in terms of that I felt they could've been more straightforward on the differences overall, the staff has been responsive to our inquiry and request this took my mom a couple of months to adjust that she is doing OK any of the residents in the memory care are much worse than she is so that is hard sometimes, but there are some ladies that are about her being. Thankfully, she has friends and family that could come take her out from time to time for lunch or to watch a Gonzaga game.

I remember [removed name] where my mom was in 2017-2019 as being a 5. That was just before that facility sold and a new directorship took over. So at [removed name], my husband is comfortable. He likes the food(!!) and the simplicity. He does not have Alzheimer's. So he is cognizant but is just very passive. The staff is sweet. There are several young women who are the caretakers and all are very kind, sweet, and seem to know [removed name]. I wish [removed name] had a little more each day that interests him. But that might just be me. The activities are tailored to table crafts, things geared to women, but activities Ray has no interest in. He has his simple iPhone on which he plays solitaire all the time. He has used the nice library there. but loses interest in the book quickly. We like the long hallways and destination corner areas. And the nice mural work throughout. I am so glad he hangs out in the activity room even if he doesn't get o voiced I. The activities. He seems content to just watch. The facility is easy to get to from my home in mission Hills. It is all very nice. To make it a 5, I wish he could be in a community where he has residents he can engage in conversation. He's in between assisted and memory care.
