My sister is blind and was at that facility for a approximately 8 days or so . They were very rude and uncaring. They would bring her food in to her and not even tell her it was there or where it was on the plate. She was unable to get up out of bed because she had surgery on her leg. So she was totally dependent on there help . She would push her help button and no response for 2 to 5 hours or not at all. The night CNA's would scream at her when she would push her call button because she a bowel movement. Again this would take them hours to respond then they would belittle her .I would never ever take anyone I loved to this place . It's a horrible facility and very unprofessional. I will calling the blind association of Arizona to fill a grievance against them. I wish I had checked reviews before I agreed to let her go there . I personally removed her on a Saturday and asked for her info for a doctor appointment for Monday and they refused give them to me . STAY AWAY !!!

Staff is horrible! The don [name removed] is horrible does not do her job. Everything is always broken in this place. Staff openly talks about how bad it is here and how management sucks and they dont care about the people in it. DONT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!

Bad at nursing and basic medical care. Communication between staff is horrible. Mother entered facility for rehabilitation and passed away 11 days later. She had a Broken hip and arm. Many visits she had no dentures in or eye glasses on. Facility administrator did not respond to concerns.

Mom went to HRP after being hospitalized after a fall. At first, her therapy was a success. After time, mom was able to dress, use the toilet, and do all other self-care alone. She could also walk 250 feet. She was due to be release on a Friday, but a problem arose with her new accommodations and she had to stay over the weekend. During that time, she fell 3 times and was reinjured. By Monday, she couldn’t dress herself, walk more than 50 feet without resting, and she needed to stop for breath after just a few words. HRP should have called mom’s insurance company, reported her injuries and requested that her coverage be extended so she could heal. Instead, they discharged her. Her new assisted living home said that they never would have admitted her if they knew about her condition. Mom ended up back in the hospital for a second time. She left HRP in worse condition than she entered.

My Mom was in there dying. The nurses were so.rude & uncaring. My Mom was in pain gasping for air they. Would not give any pain med while she was waiting for Hospice to come. They were so cold to her. She had some oxygen but she needed a ventilator. They were so hurtful to us. When she first arrived she fell off the bed, she had fallen before so she had a history of falling. They had nothing to keep her safe if she would fall. It was a horrible experience! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Insufficient number of CNA's to support patient load. Sunday I was stuck in bed all day. Staff are friendly and nurses pay attention to medication routines. PT & OT staff are knowledgeable and work well with the patients 5-6 days a week. Again this leaves one in the bed a lot on Saturday and all day on Sunday. I am very tired of being here and will be glad when I can go home.

I picked this location for its "State of the Art" rehab. However, the nursing and admin. department is really outrageous. During my mothers stay she was not offered a call light and she didn't even know what it was? They did not come to her aid when she did holler out for help. The nursing was rude and appeared to hate interactions especially the ladies from Haiti. My mom lost at least 30 lbs. they did not offer her food and rather she sleep. She was hungry often. They could careless if she ate or not. I called the Nursing Station to ask questions no answer. I called the Social Worker no answer, I left a message and no return phone call. I called the head Administrator guy and he never once called me back after I left 2 messages. I also wanted to know why some residence and staff were not vaccinated for the Covid-19. Their website seems great but it is a front. Needless to say I told my mom to check herself out and I would take her home, AMA (Against Medial Advice).

This facility has advertised that they now take long term care patients and Medicaid patients. If you care anything about your loved one run in the opposite direction. This facilities' staff does not know how to care for patients who need care. Patients who can walk talk and care for themselves are safe but if you are dependent in any way you will be out of luck. They cannot transfer patients properly and have no people skills caring for the elderly and dependent. How they will be certified is a mystery. If and when the State visits for deficiencies they will surely have many. Do not stop here keep looking

As a CNA for several facilities, this is one of, if not, the worst care centers I have every seen. My aunt was there for over a year and this is what I saw/heard. There was little to no communication with family. My aunt could not eat a lot of the meals and the staff would not get her food that she could eat. The nurses would stop or change medication WITHOUT DR'S KNOWLEGE OR PERMISSION (this happened at least twice). It would take staff on average (and yes we timed this over the course of several months) 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to answer her light. Which means she would be left with a wet or soiled brief or in EXTREME pain for that long. There are several other things I could mention such as part of her charts going missing; my aunt getting sores because the aides refused to listen to her or clean her properly, her not getting showers for WEEKS at a time; etc. Overall I would NEVER recommend this facility to ANYONE. If I could give negative stars I would.

My mother needed a short term rehabilitation facility in October 2020, and after reading the most recent reviews of Healthcare Resort of Plano, I chose this facility. Don't let the reviews, the appearance of the facility, and the untruths told by the administration fool you!! I'm so very sorry to this day that I let my mother into this HORRIBLE, UNORGANIZED, NON CARING, NEGLECTFUL, RUDE, UNATTENTIVE, MISGUIDED, UNPROFESSIONAL, NONRESPONSIVE, FACILITY!!!!! From the top administrator [name removed] who oversees a disfunctional facility, to the nurses [names removed] who are the upmost of noncaring, arrogant, and RUDE. MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY 48 HOURS AFTER LEAVING THIS FACILITY. THIS FACILITY NEGLECTED MY MOTHER'S MEDICAL NEEDS. WHEN I PICKED UP MY MOM, SHE WAS DIRTY, SMELLY, HER HAIR WAS VERY MATTED, VERY SICK, AND CLEARLY NEGLECTED!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY!!! I SURELY REGRET IT!!!!!!! Read ALL of the reviews for this facility. [name removed] in 2017 and I had the same experience.

Would not recommend this facility unless you are independent with all your needs. The staff tried to do the best they could, but complained that they had too many patients, rarely communicated with my father and were not professional in providing care. Multiple calls to the Administrative staff went to voice mails with no call back as requested.

I wish I had read these reviews before I allowed my parent to stay there. The place has to be one of the worst in Kansas. They do not answer lights or phones. no one know what's going on and the care takers do not know how to care for pts. The do not know how to transfer . This place should have their license revoked . The states needs to make a visit ,however due to Covid they cannot come and family cannot come in to see how awful patients are treated or neglected. The staff they have know nothing about pt care , 1st semester nursing students can care for patients better. If you have a loved one and you care just a little for their well being DO NOT LEAVRE THEM HERE. The management is not any better if they were they would have staff that knew what they are doing. if there was anyway I could report this place to be cleaned up or shut down I would. They are way overpriced , If a person cannot care for themselves they will die in this facility

My dad stayed here for a week, it was a terrible experience for him. He was kicked out of the hospital after his cancer treatments had stopped but still needed rehab/physical therapy, we had to find a spot somewhere and the quickest was Heathcare Resort of Olathe. What a nightmare!!! He arrived on a Wednesday afternoon...no one came to welcome him..with paperwork anything. We thought this was strange.. He was in room 101...His call light DID NOT WORK!! He cannot walk or get up on his own. The call light working was paramount to his care!! We told the CNAs nothing happened..told the social worker( who was very nice) We were told the building has been open for 5 yrs and the call light in that room has not worked for 4 years!!! They worked on it and it sort of worked but the response times were 20 minutes to NEVER!!! Unacceptable!!! He stayed in that room for 5 days and no one came in to clean it!!! He was moved to the other hall and the call light in this room only worked half the time...on one occasion he pushed it..no one came so he started yelling to get some help. The person who came in proceeded to YELL AT HIM telling him he DID NOT push the call light!! She then checked the light...oh guess what..IT WASNT WORKING!!! Having to stay or live in a place like this is hard enough then you have to deal with all the BS..I was terrified to leave my dad here overnight!! His food order was always wrong, he received multiple trays each meal and it was ALWAYS cold!! ONE bright spot was the therapy departments..OT and PT was great and very kind to him. He has since moved to another facility that is taking care of him properly. Healthcare Resort of Olathe feels terribly understaffed... how can 3 CNAs manage 35 patients?? Its clear from our experience that they cannot!! They should be ashamed of the treatment they and giving their patients and residents! My dad was basically kicked out of the hospital( which is a story for another day) so we needed somewhere quick..unfortunately we ended up at Healthcare Resort of Olathe.

I am a resident. If you can afford anyplace else do not come here. They do not care about the residents

The occupational therapy was good but the actual physical therapy did not do anything for her. The staff was nice in general. The service there is terrible and no one came to help. A nurse refused to check her blood sugar level. She just said she looked okay. She gets more therapy at home now. She pushed her button for help and it took a while for help. She is supposed to have a certain diet and she was given food she cannot have.

Our mother is 89 years old she was in good health when she went there, when she came out she was unable to stand with 2 people, she also got a bed sore on her foot we are in the surgery waiting room she had to have her foot amputated because of the infection. Do not put your loved one in here they are just doing a job they don't care. I timed the call light and it was over an hour our mom waited for them, they refused to put her on the toilet to use the bathroom, they were not caring and they left mom set in dirty and wet briefs, she had to wait for hours to get her room tray. Please do not put your lived ones in that place.

The therapy services are going very well. They are giving my mom meals that her diet requires. In terms of the nursing care, it depends on who my mother has taking care of her. The facility does not have enough nursing help and there are way too many patients per nursing assistant. I understand that my mom is not the only person in the world but I still feel like the care could improve. The communication is not good.

The staff is unresponsive and inattentive. It smells and there is stuff on the floor.

The meals are not great but some of the food was good.

The meals are very good. It's cleaner than other facilities. Most of the aides have been really nice. Some of the night staff did not want to help. The call light is on all night and no one answers. They do not help my loved one eat and my loved one is not able to feed themselves. They took my loved one to an appointment with no sling and no oxygen and the Dr, office was closed and locked and they left my loved one there and drove off for three hours.
