I am so glad we found Fox Point Manor. My mom was in memory care. All the staff was warm, caring and kind. I can't say enough about them! They did an outstanding job attending to her personal, mental and health needs. She always was treated with dignity and respect. We too felt part of the Fox Point Manor family.

Sometimes the communication is not that great. I'm still trying to get my dad his depends that they said they would get through medicare/the VA. My dad has internet that he doesn't need but that's a comcast problem I guess. I found that it's a lot of follow up, talking to people in the office and the staff and over here and over there to try to get everything together. That's been a problem.

Incredible place for the residents they serve. My father is not at that level yet but if he was, they tend to the clients very well

The staff is very nice, they keep the place clean and the food is terrible (according to my mom). My rating and my mom's would be very different. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

Since the recent change in the administration and some new employees there has been improvement. I think it is very clean and my brother likes the food. One possible complaint is that there is not a lot of activities. I know that is limited because of the condition of the residents.

My mother is still at heritage house and is doing well. I don't think she likes some of the meals but overall I still think it's a nice place. The staff seems kind and the place is well maintained. I would recommend to others.

It's pretty inside, The single rooms feel spacious, the food selection seems good. IMPROVEMET NEEDED: Weekend activities are needed. the weekends look pretty boring around there. More variety in activities such as easy cooking classes. Even if it's as simple as frosting cupcakes or decorating cookies. Volunteer opportunities for people in lower levels of assisted living. It gets boring sitting there all day with no sense of purpose. Work harder to get residence involved to meet people and make friendships. Not everyone is good at that.

The staff was very caring, attentive, and compassionate. However, there were some downsides. The food was not satisfactory, and there was also an issue with lost laundry, which was frustrating and disappointing.

The staff is pretty good, Dad has had a few comments about good and interesting staff. Food has been pretty good overall. Lots of pasta, which makes Dad have a stomach ache but he mentioned it and they seemed to start having more potatoes instead. ???? I don't think Dad is participating in many activities yet. But he hasn't complained so I don't mind. It's still pretty new to him. He mentions meeting lots of interesting people so I think that is good for him. The apartment is lovely! I couldn't ask for anything better. We love it!

I think Courtyard is a clean facility. Food quality, variety and quantity seem to be very good. The staff seems to be good. The activities are many and they seem to make a good effort to get the residents to participate. My biggest concern is the amount of turnover in all staff. There has been an exceptional amount of change in staff in the last year.

Staff are well trained in dementia and try to keep your loved ones engaged in activities.

Mom is losing her vision and mobility. She says everyone is nice & the food is good. Mom is starting to go to happy hour and meet new people. Without good vision its not easy but shes in good hands.

Positives: Staff seems genuinely kind. There are a lot of activities. My gets a lot of exercise via their PT program. It is a well maintained facility. Negatives: she doesn't like the food very much. It is carb heavy and bland.

Staff is great they help her and she lost her phone they had picked up and put it somewhere safe and as she was asking they said hold on is this yours -it was ! Front desk is also very pleasant. Food - there are sometimes the dinner isn't great but lunch is always good.

I would say food/dining good...staff, 95+% very good.... room/apartment are acceptable, but very little storage & no storage or counter space for everyday objects in the bathroom. Family should observe until comfortable that all is being done that was requested.

The facility is beautiful and clean. They have their own cook who used to own a restaurant. He is fabulous and will customize as needed. There seemed to be a couple differences between what was promised by intro-staff vs by delivery of floor staff, but it could have been a simple issue of communication. Beautiful, spacious rooms. Very clean. Very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The staff is helpful, friendly and listens to my concerns and suggestions. The food is very good, a nice variety of menu and substitutions when needed for my mother's needs. They are very attentive, but I have an issue sometimes with the medical system there. All in all, I'm very pleased with our choice of Parkside Manor

We're pleased with it so far. My dad seems to be well cared for and we like the staff.

Very friendly and supportive staff. Everyone we've met there has gone out of their way to make my mom feel welcome and at home.

It is my opinion that most of the assisted independent living places in Wisconsin with a few exceptions of lousy food, but the rest of the accommodations are OK. I would recommend it, if people had a full kitchen in their apartment and we're able to do some cooking to supplement the food that was very good at the lunchroom.
