Wonderful place. Great staff small home feel setting. Great food and lots of activities. They treat thier residents with such respect and passion.

My husband was really disoriented and in bad condition. As you might guess, as his wife, I was very concerned and worried about finding the appropriate place for him to live and get good care. I didn't know what to do, I'd never looked for a care facility before. The minute I stepped inside, I was greeted by someone at the desk. She made me comfortable right away. Next I had a tour. After bringing my children for yet another tour, we arranged for my husband to move in. Working with Rachel was another very positive aspect of Parkside. She knew how to answer all my questions. The caregivers are wonderful. They knew just how to speak with him, and what to do and say when it was time for his meds. The meals are wonderful. They have a chef. The tables are set beautifully, they use cloth napkins instead of paper, usually there is a small centerpiece on the table as well. Most days there is a second option for the main course, and the food is beautifully presented and tasty. After all mealtime is the most important part of the day. Everything that is done at Parkside, is done with both the patient and their family in mind. Before you realize it, you feel like you are a part of their big family. After 10 months, my husband was well enough to leave the facility and move to an assisted living establishment. It was difficult to make the decision to leave, because we liked everything about Parkside. His improvement was due to the wonderful staff and their careful attention to his medical needs. We cried when we walked out the door for the last time. Parkside Manor is the "cadillac" of memory units. Thank you Parkside!

We toured Autumn Leaves of South Barrington and they were really great people. I really like how they have the place set up, in regards to lighting, how the hallways and colors are set up, etc. It is all very well done for Alzheimer patients. They are all very pleasant and very kind people.

The sales director was the best person we worked with. She is compassionate. She gave us tons of extra time and effort. I think without her the facility wouldn't be the same.

Parkside Manor is a wonderful place! They have someone sitting with my husband all the time so he is never really left alone. When I come in they get up and leave so I can visit with him. They also all remember my name and have gotten to know me personally as well. They are just very caring.

I am really very pleased with Hickory Park. I love the way they guided me through the process in a tough time. Mom feels really comfortable there. The staff is very welcoming and friendly to everyone. Mom felt comfortable there right away. The food is really good to. We just found it to be a very good value and would highly recommend it.

Very happy so far with facility. Mom has transitioned quickly and is making new friends. Staff all friendly and helpful. Good food, clean and many activities. We would highly recommend.

They were very warm and professional. I actually selected Autumn Leaves of South Barrington as the facility to put my husband in but unfortunately he passed away. The facility was very clean. Everyone was friendly and warm. The value was great. They had a variety of activities. The care givers seemed really good. Overall, The Autumn Leaves seemed like a great community.

Excellent. I was very impressed when I toured the Autumn Leaves of Bolingbrook. This assisted living community is a 5 star facility. Very clean with a nice staff. The value is also excellent. The care givers are great.

My grandmother is doing very well there at Autumn Leaves of South Barrington. She is being very well cared for. My mom was very happy with the doctor that is helping out my grandmother. The quality of the medical care is exceptional. They are taking really good care of her, and that's all we can ask for.

Its a good assisted living facility. The rooms are nice and very maintained. The director and staff are nice. The food isnt to bad and have few activities.

i toured this community for my mother-in-law, and was very impressed. It was a saturday, but lots of activity going on. One staff member was playing the piano and residents were enjoying themselves. It was near lunch and tables in dining area had tablecloths and kitchen staff greeted me as well. I felt very welcome. I observed staff talking to residents and families, just a warm and friendly environment. I will bring my mother-in-law back to see for herself.

Everything is good. It's a really nice place. It's clean, and the staff is real nice. The food is good. It's a little more expensive, but the quality is good. I am very happy with them, and I hope she doesn't have to move for a long time.

Well managed, well staffed, clean, efficient and friendly. Something that money can't buy is a true, genuine concern for the residents . . not at ANY price. I'm speaking of compassion that only comes out of a sincere respect for one's fellow human beings. The staff at Autumn Leaves exhibits that genuine caring. They are always patient and kind with the people they serve, yet they can handle difficult situations with ease and professionalism. Autumn Leaves seems to be singularly focused on providing the absolute best care available for individuals in need of such assistance.

My first experience with Autumn Leaves was meeting Diane Reier. She is professional, warm, and has a genuine passion for Autumn Leaves and her role in the service of the people that live and work there. The "So Much More To Savor" event was beautiful and fun. I particularly enjoyed interacting with the residents in the memory care center during the event. Seeing residents dancing to the live music and enjoying the delicious food that was offered by Chef Steve Martin and his competent staff was heartwarming and a totally enjoyable experience. I would unhesitatingly recommend Autumn Leaves to anyone requesting information about memory care communities for a loved one.

My mother was brought to Autumn Leaves in August of 2014 after carbon monoxide poisoning accelerated her dementia. We have been very happy with the care she is receiving at Autumn Leaves from the top down. The administrators are very accessible and the caregivers are compassionate and treat my mom with dignity. An added plus is the food is great and always offered on visits with my mom.

I cannot express how much of a blessing Autumn Leaves of Crystal Lake has been to my mother and our family. Everyone there genuinely cares for my mothers health and well-being and has put our minds at ease knowing she is being cared for and is safe. They keep her occupied with many activities and happy on a daily basis even when she can be a challenge. After much research we are so pleased we were able to find a wonderful memory care facility that reflected my mother's spirit.

I am very happy with them so far. I don't have any concerns or complaints. the staff is friendly, and it's kept very clean. It's a nice place.

We came for a respite stay, we loved it and it was great. There were a few problems in the beginning, but I spoke with the director of nursing, Jody, and she took care of it right away. They handled everything really well, and right away. The place is beautiful and the rooms are beautiful, and it's all open. The food was excellent. I would bring her back for respite care again, no problem.

When we toured Autumn leaves we gave it the sniff test. Although the facility has been there more than five years, there were no unpleasant odors. We have seen staff quickly clean where cleaning is needed. As we toured we met staff members who greeted us and told us what their duties included. It soon became apparent that, as it is in many families, everyone does a bit of everything. The staff assisted us in preparing for my Mother's move from a warm weather climate to Autumn Leaves. I doubt that her move would have been so smooth without their assistance and expertise. They participated in the move as well as providing us with materials suggesting what toiletries she would need as well as what clothing she would need. Her room was decorated (paint, etc.) and ready for her to move in. My Mother arrived at Autumn Leaves the day before the Thanksgiving celebration. She enjoyed the 'family'-style preparations for the big day; she called my attention to the theme decorations which she saw. We both enjoyed the buffet dinner that evening - turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, salad, rolls, pumpkin and pecan pies. Outstanding Thanksgiving fare. She has been sleeping well, eating well, and participating in the various activities. I like that staff encourages her to participate, even if it is as a spectator. She is encouraged to remain up and about during the day. She has met many of the residents already. One day when we arrived, she was sitting in a comfortable arm chair, instead of her wheel chair, talking with several of the ladies. We didn't expect such a change so quickly but have been pleased to see it. Mother has been pleased with her interactions with the staff. They are quick to recognize her needs and respond to those needs quickly. The staff has been helpful to us by letting us know her needs. She lived in the warm weather climate over twenty-five years so our first job was to shop for warmer clothes. The staff lets us know when her toiletries and other personal items need to be replenished. Even after the contract was signed, and a week has passed, the staff remain friendly and caring. The staff has exceeded expectations in all areas of Mom's care. We are grateful for all they do to help Mom feel comfortable and at home in her new home.
