This place has had some growing pains, but my mom is really happy, she has made friends with the other women that live there and that is really important. There have been changes with the management staff which was unnerving to me, but the Executive Director and Nurse are very responsive to any issues and do a good job of communicating to me what is going on with my mom. I know that everyone in this place has their eyes on my mom to make sure that she is safe and involved in activities. The ED has been very responsive to all of my concerns and I finally feel like someone is staying on top of people to make sure they get the job done, bottom line.

It has been a very good experience with Legacy Senior Living Community. Everything about it has just been great. It is a very nice place and the staff there are all very caring, helpful, and friendly.

There is a lack of communication between front desk and the rest of the people. On the downside, the maintenance crew is short staffed. There is a lot of residents and they are not able to clean quickly. Other than that, I would say that it seems to be a good place overall. The facility itself is very clean. Everyone is very nice. The staff is helpful and accommodating. I would recommend the Independence Village.

We toured this community while looking into senior living options for a loved one. I thought Elk Ridge Village was a nice place, and definitely somewhere we would have considered. However it was too far away from any family members to be an option.

Having my parents finally moved out of their house and into a facility where they can probably remain for rest of their lives is a HUGE relief to us, their adult children. They are making use of the Home Bound Home Health Care as well as the Home Bound assisted living services (bathing, etc.) The staff is more than helpful, and always cheerful. The facility itself feels very much like a condo situation, and not at all like a nursing home. It feels as though they are living in an apartment--and I guess they actually are! They've only been there a month, but to this point the type of scheduled and available activities are Iimited, but adequate for their needs/wants.If this type of facility is what you're looking for, I can't really imagine anything better.

They do a pretty good job. They are really friendly. The food not so good but the staff are caring and do a good job. The facility is clean and they seem to take care of things and offer alot of activities.

I don't feel this is the right place for us due to the lack of outdoor space.

We toured this community when we were looking into senior living options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice looking community, overall. The facility was well kept and clean, and the staff seemed friendly. The dining room was particular impressive, it was impressively large and well decorated. I also liked that they had a little ice-cream shop that you could hop in and serve yourself whenever you like.

overall the experience with Lake Barrington Woods has been pretty good. The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly and helped to make it a very smooth transition.

I was very pleased with when I met with Dave. He was very good at answering questions and helping us make it a smooth transition. It has been a very good experience with Arvada Estates and I would highly recommend them.

I helped to place a friend here, and it looks like we found the right place! Everything has been going well here, and he appears to be happy and thriving. We're glad we found it, and it is definitely worth a look for others searching for senior care.

We used Lake Barrington for a respite stay. It went well, it was nice, and the staff was friendly. My loved one liked it. We would use them again in the future, it was a good stay.

We have had a pleasant experience with Elk Ridge Village. The staff is friendly and they wear first alerts around their neck. Mom has needed had a couple of urgent needs for which those have come in handy, and they are always right there ready to help in any way they can. The food is also very good, though mom does complain at times that there are not more meals included in the plan we have her set up on.

Our tour by Juliana was great. She greeted every resident we saw by name and made a personal comment to most of them! The facility itself could use some updates as far as decor and the rooms are fine, but small kitchens and closets. The assisted living option are great and the number of activities offered daily are fantastic. Seemed like a nice place to live.

It was really nice for a long time. I think they’re having some issues right now, but they’re getting things sorted out. They offer a lot of activities. The main issue we have is the yearly rent increase. Not knowing is worrying. The food is okay.

They do a pretty good job. They are really friendly. They are affordable, there are a lot more expensive places, but there are also less expensive places, this is sort of a middle range. She is having a hard time finding a place to fit in, they do offer some things to do, but it is difficult to join in. The food is ok, but she says that the portions can be a little small. We haven't really run into any concerns.

The facilities at Eve were wonderful. I'm concerned about the transfer from a rehab to the community. They accept the diagnosis from the rehab when the person is admitted, this could lead to something that is not a good fit. We would have liked to have a longer stay here. The food is good, the people were friendly.

Overall this is a very nice community. I really appreciate how good they are at staying in touch with families and keeping them informed of any problems or changes that might arise. The facility itself is always very clean and well kept, and the staff are all very friendly! They've got plenty for the residents to do, and everyone seems happy and entertained.

Beautiful, safe, clean, bright. Top of the line food. Long walk to apt. Not mom's usual community.

The care overall is very good. They do an assessment every month. They raised her rates because they said that she asks too many questions about her meds. My brother is upset that they raised her rate without first telling the family, but I think that they just realized that she needs more assistance than they originally thought. Regardless my brother is ready to move her out because of this. I don't think that he will, though because he doesn't have our support. And on the plus side she is only paying for a one bedroom and living in a 2 bedroom because they dind't have a one bedroom available. They have a lot of activities and that is really good for her. The activities director is really good. The food is excellent. She always comments that she has never had the same meal twice, but who knows, she can't remember. We have eaten there several times with her, and we have never had the same meal twice. The place is very clean and the people are very friendly.
