So far, this has been a great experience for my loved one! We really have no suggestions for improvement. We really like this location, since it's convenient for our family. We were also impressed with the staff from the get-go. Everyone we interacted with was incredible!

Things have been working out very well for us here! They're a great community, I'd give them top marks in everything. We toured a few options in the area and this was the place we were most impressed with. It's very nice looking, and the staff are all very friendly. They also seemed to offer a few services that other places we looked did not, laundry, etc.

Everyone is so friendly from the staff to the residents, who welcome you with open arms. We have been here 2 weeks now, and we both absolutely love it and know we made the right decision!

Everything has been going great here, I'd give them all 5s! It's a clean, nice looking place, and the staff are all very caring and professional. They are great about communication, and get in touch with me if they ever think there is an issue or want to give me an update.

He's liking it. The only thing he doesn't like is it's not my cooking. They do all his cleaning. They do his laundry, and change his bed and clean his room. He likes it out there. I would definitly say give it a try if you are looking for assisted living. He also has his privacy so they aren't too invasive. They do have a bus that can help take people to doctor.

Very nice, but probably the most expensive. Would or will be a pinch.

After touring and interviewing nine facilities in the Springfield area, The Montclair was clearly the front-runner and a unanimous choice for our family member! This facility has been in business for 25 years and they definitely run a first-class operation. Every amenity and service you can think of is covered at The Montclair for a fair price. The facility is not only beautiful, but also offers roomy apartments with great floor plans and abundant closet storage. The qualified staff truly exceeds one's expectations. It is quickly obvious how much they care about their residents and the company for which they work. Last, but by far not least, the dining experience at The Montclair is exceptional--the menu choices are almost limitless--delicious entrees are presented by friendly wait staff in a pleasant atmosphere. Combine all of the above and it is easy to see why the residents of The Montclair are always smiling! Couldn't find a better place for my mom. Staff is helpful without being intrusive. They are very knowledgeable about MANY details that we had not yet considered. I would recommend them highly.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty. My father's one bedroom apt is spacious and cozy all at once. Very comfortable and quiet.

Very nice place, but still undecided, I don't think mom can afford it.

I like them. They get high marks on everything. The care services we have used have been good. I think they're doing a good job. My mom and dad seem content and that's what matters.

For my mother it was worth every penny, i love the staff, i love the care, i just don't care much for the facility. It's just very improperly lit, its just dark, its not very cheerful, it's absolutely clean, the accomodations are very nice, the care was excellent. The staff was just outstanding in changing to her changing needs, she was not forced to move into nursing care or more substantial care, they were able to accomodate her changing needs and they were changing by the week. They were able to care for her until the end and not having to move her was HUGE for the money, it didn't cost us any more and I have to say, their director of nursing, I wouldn't have wanted any one else to care my mother other than her, she was very caring and kind. She was more worried about my mother and what her care needs were than anything else.

My sister lives in the independent living and her side is just beautiful, the decor, the lighting, the shared space, its just very very comforting and comfortable, and very homie, just very nicely done. She like it a lot. Of course on their side, their interaction is a lot different than independent living, they're able to come and go more easily and they need very little assistance so they can have gatherings for cards and games and movies and physical fitness so they're able to enjoy more activities together. My impression is that it's a little pricey compared to other facilities but it's definitely a five.

They're wonderful, like everything in the world its so expensive, we looked in to some a lot higher and some that were less expensive, but we liked the look of it, the people, the food. They really enjoy it, I'm so happy for them. They play bingo they do sittercise they're always having something, ice cream socials or happy hours. It's just well kept and structured yet theyre free to come and go, I like how they keep track of each of the residents, I just feel very secure with them being there. I'm glad to know that care service will be available and they'll still be able to stay there.

When I consider what my mother had before to what my mother has now, it's wonderful, she loves it. First of all, I'm in the health care field and I had been in and out of different facilities and for the price and jsut the overall appearance of it, there just wasn't any doubt as to where to go. There has recently been an issue and my mother didn't want to say anything because she's afraid it's going to reflect negatively on her (it's nothing they've every done to make her think that) but overall she's very happy there and knows that it's not Independence Village but one individual. Before, her brothers and sisters thought she needed more care but unfortunately they didn't think it through; so she seems very happy, she's very involved, she had that kind of shuffling, head down look all the time and now she's walking with more authority again, she's being who she was.

We love and my parents love it! I think the value is really good. My parents have a blast with the activities. The mostly like the music I believe. They're always doing something so I can't keep up. I was really shocked that they, especially my dad who is not easy to please, just love it. They're doing something right!

Modern ,clean, great list of things to do. We have enough for a year or so private pay and they don't switch over to Medicaid.

This is my first choice. I have looked at four And this one fit all my needs. I still need to wait some. I am going to see about my money and My options. i would like to be able to move As soon as I can.

Julie was very informative and sensitive to our parent's situation. We liked the small town amenities and trips to the country that are available. Stacy was very helpful too.

We looked at 5 different communities for assisted living that can transition to memory care and Elk Ridge was one of our top 2. We chose Elk Ridge because after a few years you can go from private funding to Medicare funding, even in the memory care. I visited this community 3 different times once with my husband and once with my brother and we all agreed that this was the community for my mom. It is settled in a semi rural area with lots of greenery, currently their flowers are blooming and it’s beautiful. They have a beautiful courtyard of which my mom has a very good view of. The landscaping is really well maintained. We are really pleased that she is there, the staff made it really easy for her to settle in and be comfortable.
