The facility is well run and maintained. Beautiful new additions include a Theatre, Chapel and Rehab Unit. Private rooms are spacious and include a mini fridge, seating for visitors and spacious private bathroom. There are drinks to include juice (orange, apple, cranberry or tropical water), sweet and unsweet tea, coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea and bullion available all day, including snacks. The food is plated and immediately served, it does not come from the kitchen in trays, it is from a steam table. Special menus available for resident selection. Activities are robust. Community Partners will also come in and do music, pet visits and painting. Residents enjoy socializing around the nurses station. Very fun community all around.

Great first impression

The meals and dining service is great so far, our loved one is still adjusting to the different meals being served. The have really good activities that our loved one is able to participate in. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to everyone.

The staff is very friendly and nice and the community is kept very neat and clean. Communication between the staff and our family was good and they kept us well informed and responded back to us very quickly if we had any questions. I would recommend this community to others.

The community has been in the area for a very long time. The aesthetics don't have the newer decorations like new communities, and it is a little bit on the older side for decor. I believe they should have bigger TVs for the resident common areas. The staff turnover is very low, in fact they have staff that have been there for over 10 years. It is inclusive with religion, they have number of religious services. The staff is accommodating, helpful. I din't have to worry about my husband's living during the COVID lock down. I knew he was being well taken care of. The community has a huge formal dining room and big portions of food and the food is delicious. The nursing and med staff are top notch.

I would tell anyone to try your best to get your loved in there. My loved one was well taken care of by the staff. The staff was the same for the time my loved one was there. This helped my loved one feel comfortable.

Price was excellent. Facility older but very well maintained and clean.

My 86 year old mother was at Chesterbrook Residences for 9 month before she died peacefully in her sleep from heart problems. She loved Chesterbrook Residences, her apartment, the people there who became her friends and the many diverse activities. I am so glad we found Chesterbrook Residences and we are only sorry we had not found it sooner!

I enjoyed meeting so many of the residents and speaking with them about their experiences at Tall Oaks. They all seem very well-adjusted, fun loving, and welcoming. The staff stability and experience was impressive. At the same time, they reflected care for the residents and their needs.

My mother has lived at Mennowood assisted living for 4 months. The staff did a very good job transitioning her into her new home. We are very happy that we found such a nice place for her to live. Every employee that we've met is very nice as are the residents. Good food, lots of activities, nice rooms that are kept clean and the nursing staff is great. We highly recommend Mennowood Retirement Community.

While I do not live in this community, I visit quite often. I am always impressed by the feeling of warmth I encounter. Always clean and attractive.

I am very happy with this community. The staff is great and very caring. The food is appealing with a nice variety. They offer alot of activities. I would be happy to recommend this community to other families. We are happy with the cleanliness here.

I stayed at Tall Oaks last year for a short respite period. I still miss it. When I just read that the whole village was going to change and T. O. Might be gone I was Devastated..Reston needs something like TO because staying there was just like home. Unpretentious, caring, good food, friendly staff and friendly neighbors. Yes! Every one just seemed like a good friend. Please don't let them demolish the best senior citizen thing left in Reston.

Things are going wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. She has been there since the end of December and she has moved from the assisted living side to the independent living side of the facility. She is very happy there. She is getting three square meals a day and meeting new people.

It's been fantastic. They have been good about working with us and getting in there. No complaints about food it's or activities. There has been a shift in leadership, which was a little bit of a shake up coming in. In terms of the one on one care, they have been good. They stayed in touch with me very low key, and would check in about every 6 weeks, and we really appreciated that.

There is not one odor, the place is immaculate. The staff is extremely friendly. They are very careful. I would give this place a five-star, up and down the scale. I have never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend it.

We have worked with this community in the past, and our experience with Our Lady of Perpetual Help was a positive one. It is a very nice place, and I would highly recommend it. The staff here is friendly and professional, and the hospice service that they work with is excellent.

I think they do a good job of taking care of my father. I just wish they would push liquids on him more and make sure he's getting more hydration. Everything else has been really good. The meals are good and he is eating well. The cleanliness of the facility is excellent. It's always very clean. The staff has been very nice and helpful. I would recommend the Mennowood Retirement community. It's very good.

They are doing a fabulous job, and I couldn't be happier. Mom is adjusting, and really liking. I have eaten there, and it's really delicious food, and always served at the right temperature. I just can't say anything bad about them, they do such a good job.
