This community has come leaps and bounds in the past year or so and the remodel brings the look to the same standard as care. I highly recommend them!

We are very happy with the place and my mom has been treated very well. The place is convenient to my home and work. I would recommend the place, and we feel like it is one of the better values in the area.

We toured with The Reserve at Katy. The facility was larger and felt more like a hospital. We were looking for a place that felt more like home.

The community staff is very welcoming and is good at inviting my loved one personally to join in activities. They would like access to Sunday worship services. The Bible class was not meeting for awhile, but I believe has started up again. A more systematic plan for integrating new people would be great. They need to find a better way to facilitate to make relationships accessible.

We picked this community because, they had the space available, for the time that we needed something. It looked nice, and felt comfortable. Overall, it's been a good experience, and has been working well.

We had a good tour experience with The Reserve at First Colony. There was nothing negative about the facility, but nothing really stuck out to us either. It was just not the right fit.

This community was good and the tour was nice it was just not what we were looking for environment wise for our loved one. Also there was another community that just happen to outshine and take our attention.

This community was assisted living and this tour helped show us that we did not need assisted living and that my loved one really needed independent living.

The security at Dorset Place is really great, we know our loved one is safe there. They could work on improving their activities and they say they do laundry but we do not see much of that happening. We know no place is perfect, but we do feel that our loved one is safe and well taken care of and the staff are nice

We chose Colonial Oaks because the look of the facility, the nurses and administration, and the location as well as the price. Most of my lower scores have to do with covid since we do not have access to our family, they are still on lock down and we are not able to visit. I would just tell others be aware of what you are getting into, it is a big decision and not always pleasant. Overall I would recommend to others looking

The care givers for the most part were really really caring towards the residents. Our loved one was in the largest room which was very nice. We personally never at any meals there, and our loved one was on a very restricted diet and they were very accommodating with her.

I would tell people whoever would be going in to talk about their dietary foods. The staff was great about getting back to me with answers to my questions. I felt the overnight staff during the weekdays wasn't as responsive.

Very nice people and a caring staff. The nursing staff is very good and advocate for the residents. I feel the cost structure is on the high side for the level of care given and the responsiveness of the staff. The billing and invoicing process is also very confusing. I would recommend them based on their staff. They seem to genuinely care about the residents and their well being.

It was nice to meet [name removed]. She was very knowledgeable on the living center and assisted me by giving info on how to get the status on my father in New York. I liked the idea of the Enlivant sending someone in to assess my father so everyone is on the same page upon arrival. I did however not get to tour the facility. I believe I have to reschedule a visit for that. Thanks [name removed].

Very nice and clean. Nice staff. Excellent set up on the apartments and safety concerns. Very small community turned out not to meet my mother's needs.

This a pretty nice community, and my tour of it went well. Everyone was kind, and helpful. The staff was friendly, and informative. From what we saw they do a good job with the cleanliness around the facility. The experience went well, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

This community looked clean when I visited. I liked that they have divided doors in the apartments so you could open the top and keep the lower half locked. The person that took us on tour was nice. We chose a community that was a newer than this one.

Overall, my loved one's stay at Colonial Oaks is going very well! The staff are very nice and very personable, and they are sure to cater to my loved one's needs. My loved one's stay at Colonial Oaks is pretty close to perfect!

My father is still adjusting to the changes since moving into this community. The place, for the most part, is clean, but sometimes on the weekends the trash is not taken out. Also, my father has his dog with him and he can not always find someone to unlock the doors so he could take the dog outside to do its business. Other than that, we like that it is a single story building and we are pleased with the care so far.
