Brookdale

Brookdale Monroe Square is so warm and welcoming, with cheerful and capable caregivers and staff. I’m enjoying my meals and especially my showers - something I’ve not been able to do for myself for a long time. My room is bright and airy with plenty of space for my belongings. I can relax here and feel so safe! Thank you to all the people who work so hard to make this a happy experience.

My mother enjoyed her time in independent living at Brookdale Westlake Village. The staff has been extremely kind and helpful, including billing, food service, housekeeping, maintenance, and the front desk staff. The food was usually excellent and there are many quality activities to choose from. There is a warm and familial feeling throughout the Brookdale Village independent living. We also appreciate the flexibility of the supportive Brookdale At Home staff who were imperative In keeping my mother living independently. I highly recommend it.

The Brookdale facility staff us is extremely helpful and nice. The facility it safe is clean and maintained. They have many activities for the residents. Like aerobics, board games, Dancing and different activities. The is decent, they a couple options for every meal. And the room sizes are nice.

The staff is excellent! The communicate often, are quick to respond, seem very attentive to my Mom and genuinely seem to care.

My dad has been living here for a few years now. Recently he wanted to join a lunch outing, but I hadn't been by to bring him cash yet.[Name Removed] the Executive Director, paid for his lunch. When I reached out to settle up she simply said it was her pleasure. Before moving here dad's social life was mostly just as a passenger to my social life. I'm so glad to see that he's made friends with people his age, and has a community of people to go out to lunch with, or to cheer on all his favorite Seattle sports teams with (he never misses a game).

Everyone was very hospitable. My friend and I were there for Taco Tuesday and met 2 enjoyable ladies. We took a tour around the facility and my friend thought it was very clean and had friendly people everywhere. I had previously taken the tour with [name removed].

Very well presented questions were answered. The visual tour showed beautiful grounds a lot of activity. I can’t wait to come do a game in person.

It's been a great experience for my mother-in-law. Everyone is so kind and friendly and there are so many activities to keep her busy. The apartment is the perfect size and everything is kept clean. The staff is very responsive and helpful.

The activities were plentiful. The food was good. The fact that they'll check on me 3 times daily was the biggest selling point.

From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on the residents. The team is attentive, compassionate, and communicates well with families. You can tell they take the time to know each resident as a person, not just a room number. The environment is clean, engaging, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and safety. Overall, it gives peace of mind knowing your loved one is in a place where they are respected, supported, and truly cared for.

Brookdale was an excellent choice for my sister's needs. The family vibe starts with the comfy furniture on the front porch. Each hallway is a little community eating meals together each day. All the residents are addressed by staff using their first names with smiles and upbeat attitudes. The staff is exceptional. They are involved is all aspects of the residents lives by serving in many capacities. Its a happy place to be. There are all sorts of activities planned. I was nervous about moving in. I have grown to love it. The food has improved a lot and I see more improvement is happening. The entertainment and magician is great! The staff and residents are very kind to me.

I have been a resident for several years. I love the breakfast, it's my favorite meal. I also enjoy the live music and entertainment. The dance groups and singers are the highlight. I made some great friends and the staff are very kind

[name removed] took her time to listen to me talk about my mother and understood that this is an idea for our mom, since we do not know if sge is going to get better. She offered her help if we need to understand the process thru all of this. Compassionate was there and I appreciate it.

Staff was very helpful and informative. Addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions with care.

Brookdale has been absolutely fabulous for my dad! The care is exceptional and the staff helps everyone feel at home. I highly recommend Brookdale for your loved one or for any seniors that require assisted living.

It was clean and nice facilities. People were nice and we're very informative, answered all our questions. It is well maintained and alot of activities for the residents.

Nice facility with good size 1 bedroom apartments. The staff seemed genuinely engaged with residents. The common areas were welcoming and inviting. The location is right in the heart of Federal Way with easy access to lots of doctors and hospitals, shopping and more. The place isn’t out of date yet, but they should be scheduling a refresh of paint and decor in the next couple of years to keep the facility feeling fresh.

Really loved this facility but unfortunately they did not have rooms available at the time they did offer a West Hartford location. But that was too far away.

I have MS; my husband suffers from depression and diabetes. After falling twice, we knew we had to move somewhere safer where I didn't need to cook, clean etc. Brookdale AJ was out solution! We felt comfortable immediately and soon had many friends. The food is excellent, very healthy and flavorful. Mealtimes are an excellent time for socialization. Best of all, my husbands depression has improved and he's become like a Brookdale ambassador.
